The candy bars in the shower we’re dirty the shower piece that moves up and down for handicap people was broken. The room was dirty the walls in the kitchenette area were dirty one of the remotes did not work the cups were dirty in the cabinets just not a very good stay
Buffet was very poor selection, Jacuzzi tub in room water was not hot enough at all beds were extremely hard tossed and turned all night wife and I woke up with sore backs beside that the staff was very friendly
This location needs some attention. The good things I can say: bed was comfortable, room was quiet and free parking was plenty…otherwise, our room furniture (tables drawers kitchen etc) was scarred, drawers broken and misaligned, ac unit didn’t cool at all so left window open all night to maintain our room at 76 degrees. No shampoo available (front desk said supply issue and they hadn’t had a delivery in weeks), acted like he really wasn’t bothered by the fact we had no shampoo. Breakfast was average, the basics like eggs and sausage and potatoes and waffles. Limited pastries and cereals and juice. For the price they charged I expected better and more updated accommodations.
I was really let down. The exterior and common areas look great, our room not so much. It was “clean”, but not if you looked close. There were random hairs in the shower, there was pet hair on the couch & chair (which was absolutely disgusting to me). The room had the smell of stale cigarette smoke, and our socks were quite dirty from the carpet. (Very minimal walking being that we didn’t even check in until 12:30 in the morning and we were checked out before 9am) All in all it wasn’t AWFUL, but I would t stay here again.
Everything was old in room, no USB ports, bathroom drains in sink and tub were corroded, build up on the shower head, and it smelled! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast options were great! Just needs a full renovation.
Location is good off of the 75 & other than a clean breakfast area & decent food…. That is all that I can say….. old, tired & stale smelling room complete my review. Find another hotel in the area - there are several as we will the next time traveling south. Total disappoint- as it was AAA recommended.
I had a good time while staying at Hawthorn Suites in Kingsland. The service was good, the people were really nice and cordial. The breakfast, parking, reception, room, installations as a general met all of my requirements. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone.
This was a very clean and nice property. The staff was outstanding. Close to many restaurants and the waterfront. Close to the City Dock and Crooked River Boat Dock for the boating and fishing pleasures.
very spacious, very clean, and very quiet. The front desk is very quick and assertive when dealing with any issues; which I had 2. They dealt with the 2 issues so quickly it was like there had been 0 issues at all.
I booked the hotel because it has a Tesla charger, and we were staying for 1 night on our way up to North Carolina. The charger works fine, but I didn't realize that there is a SuperCharger just a half mile down the road. I didn't quite get a full charge after letting it charge overnight so I still had to stop by the SuperCharger. I appreciated that the room had a refrigerator and microwave, and we used both. The reason for the 3-stars is that it just wasn't as clean as I would like it to be. There were stains on the walls and the sink had food remains in it. While it wasn't enough for us to request a new room, it was enough to turn me off and impact my enjoyment of the stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and provided a quick check-in. Overall, it was an OK stay for 1 night. It's possible that if we had been given a different room, it may have been up to 4 stars.…
