Check in was easy and Michele at the front desk was very friendly and hospitable. Our room was clean and comfortable. They offered free cookies & tacos in the evening. They also offered a hot breakfast, but we chose to go to a local restaurant. The wifi worked well, as did the a/c. Overall, very nice accomodations.
Absolutely disgusting. Our first room had a filthy rug with stains and food droppings, food stain in the refrigerator, and the shower had hair in it. The front desk moved us to a "Suite". Ha, well this Suite had a hair on the bed, dirty rug and stains and holes (2) on the couch. I honestly couldn't believe they charged us. Highly unlikely we will stay at a Wyndham again.
I had to go to Walgreens for some bleach and bathroom cleaner. Shower was disgusting. Buyer beware. Bed was comfy but the room was dated. AC worked well. Ice machine was not working on our floor. Never visited the breakfast area. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
We arrived for our stay at this property after 6 hours on the road. The front desk staff greeted us immediately upon arrival and politely asked us to wait a moment, as she was assisting another guest. After a cheerful, quick, and efficient sign in (even though we had signed in online, the systems don't talk to each other?) we were encouraged to "not miss breakfast." Our room location was on the second floor, and I appreciated having been assigned one close to the elevator, as we had many bags to bring in. Still, the room was quiet and we weren't at all disturbed by hallway traffic. I must admit, we were a bit taken back by the small footprint of the room, but, having been on many cruises, this didn't daunt us - as it was clear that despite the lack of square footage, the room was equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and plenty of storage space. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well-stocked. (If I had one suggestion, it would be to pay a bit more attention to corrosive buildup in the in-room coffee maker.) The bed was comfy and we got a great night's sleep. I loved the extra window seat and the homey touch of the bolster pillow. The over-bed light was quite bright, but thankfully the switch was within easy reach over the bedside shelf. If we had more time, we might have taken advantage of the outdoor pool and hot-tub, but just the same, it was a well-maintained, lovely backdrop for a quick cup of coffee before packing the car and heading to breakfast. BREAKFAST! What a wonderful set up! There were so many offerings to choose from: Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, yogurt, fresh fruit, sliced peaches, oatmeal, muffins and the piece de la resistance... make your own waffles! The breakfast area was spacious, well-stocked and cleaned and replenished often. We joked that we would stay again just for breakfast.…
Step up your covid safty cleaning guidelines. Work on staff comunication for better guests experience. Have more impathy and concern for guests. When a front desk staff says its OK for late checkouts communicate with. other staff of the late checkout
The room was very clean. Room is tastefully and simply decorated. Quiet. The staff at the front desk were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast had a variety of offerings. The beds were comfortable.
I stayed here on the way to a conference in Florida. This exit is a popular spot. There are many hotel choices. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. This Microtel is an excellent value--far better than the expensive conference hotel at which I stayed. There I had to pay for everything. Here, there was lemonade available in the afternoon, fresh baked cookies, and nachos and cheese at 6:30 pm. In addition, the breakfast in the morning had multiple choices (no free parking, snacks, or breakfast at the conference hotel). The in room coffee maker was higher quality than at the conference hotel. The mattress was comfortable and the room was clean. The only slightly weak spot was relatively low water pressure in the shower. The internet was fast and easy to access. There is a fitness room available. The amenities in the room were of good quality. …
This was my first time staying at a Microtel and I am happy to say Microtel is going to be my first choice and any hotel on any future hotel stays , this was by far a pleasant surprise with quick and friendly check in clean room , complimentary bottle of smart water with Pringle chips , comfy beds , quality breakfast and secure hotel !
Excellent place to spend the night. Excellent location, very friendly staff, room was clean. Excellent value for the money. Cracker Barrel restaurant adjacent to the property, Applebees and Wendy's nearby.
Exterior, front desk and lobby are all great! Our room was just ok! It looked to me as though they have tried to make the rooms modern like a Tru by Hilton with the platform beds, furniture and nice bathroom vanity/mirror but it needs a deep clean. Shower head and tub drain needed cleaning, crumbs in the chair crevices and black carpet that showed dust and food debris.
