Good morning, Unfortunately, I was very displeased with the conditions of the room, that I purchased on memorial day weekend, which costed me $247.12 plus $50 dollar deposit, which was refundable. with the conditions of the room, (in my opinion) there shouldn't be a deposit AT ALL!! Upon arrival as I entered the room, I immediately smelled the stinch smell... maybe it's the carpet that needs to be deep cleaned or maybe the room hasn't been getting cleaned like it should be. there was also urine present under-neat the rim of the toilet seat, along with urine and tissue present in the toilet, so therefore it was NOT CLEANED!! There was paint peeling throughout the entire room. there were also rusted areas around the doors and hinges and on the outside of the refrigerator door, at the bottom. I seen a roach that was present on the wall, along side the curtain by the window, there were white paint stains on the curtains which was noticeable. I didn't mention to my daughter, who was present with me at the time, ALL of what I seen, because I didn't want her to freak out!! The white covers on the bed closest to the air condition, had brown stains on them. scribble writing was present on the lamp, that sits on the desk....but I thank GOD I came with all of my cleaning supplies, like I would normally do anyway, because I literally had to wipe down and sanitize everything in the room, before I brought our belongings into the room. Unfortunately, if I could have afforded to stay somewhere else, I would have but every where else was booked for the weekend, with extremely expensive high prices for hotel rooms. Needless to say, the price that we as people pay to stay somewhere when we have to travel, the accommodations should match pricing!!…
The room looks clean, but the pillow is not comfortable, I remember when we went to other Quality Inn, the pillows are super comfortable, but this one is not. The fridge didn't have freezer compartment. There is no one to refill the tissue paper in our room after staying for the first night, the tissue in common bathroom in breakfast area also no one refill it. The breakfast bag is so cheap, only a honey bun/cereal bar and a banana, previously Quality Inn provide hot breakfast which is delicious, but this one only provide cheap breakfast bag, I know it may due to COVID, but when I went to vacation in 2020 summer, which is also a COVID period, but other Quality Inn also provide hot breakfast to customers. But this one even for the breakfast bag, they just put 2 bags on the table at a time, when they are gone, the staff won't refill it, you need to ask them, so that they may put 2 more bags out, so un-friendly. The breakfast time only up to 9am, once after 9am, the juice dispenser machine is locked, you can't get any more juice, so cheap, in other motel/hotel, they still allow people to get drinks afterwards, this one is so cheap.…
Be warned that if you book a room at Quality Inn 486 you are not getting quality of any kind. First room had someone’s hair in the bed, a clear indication that they don’t always change the bedding. Not to mention it reeked of weed and cigarettes. Switched us to a second room and a huge roach crawled out of the nightstand. Microwave and fridge did not work properly. And to top it all off there was no hot breakfast as posted in the lobby. They gave us brown paper bags contains a breakfast sandwich, and a green banana with some other things. Requested to speak to a manager almost a week ago and after numerous calls, emails with pictures and promises that someone will get back to me… NOTHING. They aren’t all like this. We’ve enjoyed other Quality Inns. This one was so bad that the couple that checked in after us got a refund and left after seeing their room. Stay there if you must, but be warned, it’s a substandard hotel that is over priced. You may as well stay at the Motel 8! I’m done trying to give them an opportunity to apologize and make things right. They don’t care! Hair in the bed is unacceptable at anytime, but especially during Covid. How do they justify not changing the sheets!…
Originally we were in a room that was kinda stale smelling. The building is old. We couldn't get the TV to work. So I went to my vehicle and got the laptop but couldn't get a good signal for Wi-Fi. So we asked for another room and it was given. What got me is that I was asked to give a deposit of $50.00. And was told I would get it back in 24 to 48 hours. That time has passed as I've been waiting now for the third day. They expect you to pay right then and they should give you your deposit when you check out. The place is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. 2.5 is it's rating. I've driven back down there and talked to a clerk. He was nice enough about it but couldn't do anything for me. We incurred no damage to the facility. So where the heck is my money?? They would ask the same thing if I stayed another night which wasn't about to happen. And you know that was the first time I've ever been asked for a deposit. Next time if asked for one I will turn around and walk out. Not right to hold a person's money like that.…
Let me start off by saying that, this was not my choice to stay at, however since I travel for work sometimes my company uses Choice Hotels for company travel and I stay at wherever they put me up at. This was one of those trips. I pulled up to this location and could tell this was a rather old hotel, looks to be an old Fairfield Inn, that got redesigned as a Quality Inn. Check in was easy, Staff is nice enough they do their job. I stayed on the second floor, which was exterior, which was fine because I could keep an eye on my truck. The room was a little musty but wasn't that bad, teh alarm clock didn't work, and the toilet had trouble flushing anything solid. The area is a little seedy. All in all I think I would of rather have driven on home than have stayed here, or stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the road.…
Very humid coming in and the sheets feel damp. The room has so much moisture that the corners have rust on them! Noticed a bug on floor and the carpet felt sticky. The chair was stained. The hot water wasn’t even that hot more like luke warm. I’m only there for a night so I didn’t suffer that long. This is an embarrassment to choice hotel offerings!
If I could leave 0 stars I would do it. Awful experience. Was not clean at all as other reviews tell. We had no- smoking room but as soon as we walked into the room we could smell strong marijuana smell… bathrooms floor disgusting. And in the room he had high moister so high that even bed sheets were damp… before checking out we went to have breakfast and another surprise , for breakfast on the table were 2 paper lunch bags inside we found 1 banana, 1 power bar and one the cheapest breakfast claw… over all probably at the gas station you would spend less then 4$ on these items… Stay away from this place.
Check in was great. Outstanding customer service from all the staff. Hotel was clean as was the room. Many dining options nearby. Couldn't have found a better room for the price. Will stay here again in the future.
The manager was very helpful and understanding to accommodate my recent booking. Highly recommend this hotel next time you visit the area. Service was excellent and I will choose this hotel , 5 stars!
Asked for a room on the 1st floor because I'm diabled. Was told nothing available on 1st, so I asked to at least be close to the elevator. He looked me straight in the eye and said it was. Our room was all the way down the hall!! Drug deals in parking lot. A man pulled up and 3 people ran out to his truck and we watched the drug deal right out in the open. The carpet was sticky. Pool is closed, website says nothing about it being closed. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!
