I saw another review regarding the smoke smell and I can say that it is still there in September 2020. It hits you strongest in the lobby but you start to notice it in the rooms after a little bit.

Hotel has good location off Interstate 16 and is quite modern. The elevators were fast. Rooms were standard Fairfield Inn. The bathroom was clean but a bit small. Shower had nice pressure.

The bed was awful. While the mattress was okay, the blankets and sheets were quite itchy and not pleasant to sleep with. The pillows were too plush—when I put my head down on it, the stuffing dispersed to the edges of the pillow.

The lights from the parking lot were bright enough to shine under the blackout curtains which was annoying.

I appreciated the free breakfast but the coffee tasted so bad it was undrinkable.

Overall a solid, but very basic choice.

Baseball tournament this weekend and it was very close to the ballfield. The hot breakfast was very good with Chobani yogurts, hit foods (even had chimichurri sauce!) and individually wrapped pastries.
The gym was better than most hotel gyms and had 2 elliptical, 3 treadmills, 2 benches and various freeweights (would recommend completing the set, there were a few pounds missing).
I wish the pool had been open since the weather was nice enough for baseball tournament.
Special shout out to front desk manager Ah-riana. She runs a tight ship while also making sure each guest has a superb experience.

No, this hotel could be fine, but it is running very poorly. The employees are not present. The rooms are not well-maintained or cleaned and room. Service is usually not provided. On many occasions, I have seen the staff sitting in the lounge area with their children or on their phone and not even working while customers are waiting to be served at the front desk. I had to call the phone to get somebody to check me in on my last visit, there are better options right next-door so check around before settling.

Overall, the stay was decent and there were some frustrations to say the least. Let's start with the positives. The hotel in convenient to I-16 which was a bonus and convenient to various food options within a short drive. My room started off quiet and appeared to be clean which are always two must have items for a frequent traveler. The quiet element faded on my second evening when the air conditioning started making a squeaking noise. I dealt with this for 20 minutes or so hoping the noise would fade. As the noise continuously got louder I finally had to turn off the air to not hear the annoying squeaking noise any longer. This was not completely terrible but when it's 89 degrees outside not optimal (sarcasm). The breakfast does not start until 7:00 which is bit frustrating for business travelers as most business guests depart the hotel prior to 7:00 am in my experience. Additionally, when simply asking the morning staff member a question regarding the location of utensils she seemed as though I was not worthy to speak to her person. My overall impression of the individual was drama and attitude. We all have bad days and I get that element, but in a hospitality industry compiled with the digital age this personification of drama and attitude is not acceptable. With that said, all other staff members seemed to have a great attitude for the most part when speaking to them in person. Lastly, on the positive side, the hotel wifi seems to work well for streaming. As a business guest with virtual meeting occurring regularly hotel wifi is always an important variable for my business. The biggest issue for during my stay was someone else's body hair was in the shower (nasty). When I called down to the front desk to address the concern the staff member seemed to be almost dismiss my concern. I did not receive an offer to change rooms or even an apology for the unhygienic variable. As I pressed the staff member to address the concern the staff member stated they would advise housekeeping and management of the issue. I am sorry to be negative, but as a guest who stays in Marriott properties over 75 nights a year this is not the standard experience. The hotel is marketed as one of the newest hotels in Dublin; however, it might be the next closed hotel in the area soon if changes are not made by management soon.

Horrible experience and terrible management. Had multiple bugs in my room. After recording a roach scampering across my bathroom floor, I decided I had to leave. When checking out, management didn’t offer to accommodate me in another room. I was shocked they would want me to stay in an unsanitary room rather than switch accommodations or provide me with a refund. Because it I checked out after the checkout time, they don’t want to provide a refund. Good luck if you see roaches and need to leave after the 11am checkout. Please avoid at all costs. Several other hotels right across the street. Newer and better customer service at the one I chose to move to.

It was a great stay. My family was there for a family reunion, July 14- 17, 2022. We received great care, the suites were clean and very spacious. The breakfast each morning was very fulfilling and the kitchen person was excellent. Check in and check out was done by very caring and professional staff. They have top level Management. I will stay there again and recommend it highly to others.

Clean and very comfortable rooms at a great price. Excellent customer service. Valerie was especially helpful. We needed to leave a car for a few days before our reservation and the hotel could not have been more accommodating. All of the front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a list of local restaurant recommendations.

Great hotel with helpful staff. They treat you like family. Book early to get the best rates. This is not the average off the freeway hotel/motel as there are a few of them off I-16 on Exit 51, however, this is the only Marriott hotel in the entire city of Dublin, GA. I like the Marriott. I like clean rooms, the complimentary hot breakfast and ample free parking are a plus. I've stayed here at least 100 times, literally, and probably had a concern at most twice, that they've quickly resolved. At 98% they've clearly earned my repeat business. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Fairfield Dublin, GA. See you soon.

Beds were comfortable, clean, fast check-in. Always answered the phones. Nice place to stay for a quick getaway. Shopping was nearby as was restaurants. We were able to spread out without being on top of each other.
