We stayed here twice in the month of January. What you need to know is that this is an extended stay hotel. If you plan on staying here for less than three days, there will be NO housekeeping. This means that no one will bring you clean towels, empty out your wastebaskets and change your bedsheets. If you do plan on staying more than three days, you must notify the front desk 24 hours in advance that you would like housekeeping to stop by your room. Pros: 1. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and efficient. 2. The indoor pool is warm and helps relax your muscles after a long day. 3. The shower is incredibly hot and the shower itself has a real door instead of a typical shower curtain. 4. Lots of choices at the breakfast bar. 5. There is ample parking and it is free. 6. This is a pet-friendly hotel. Cons: 1. The beds are incredibly soft. If you like soft beds, then this hotel is for you. If you like a bed with firmness, then stay someplace else because you will not get a good night’s sleep here. 2. This is a pet-friendly hotel. Dogs are allowed to stay at the hotel. This means that dogs are staying in rooms all throughout the hotel and not just one section of the hotel. If you are the least bit allergic to dogs, then stay someplace else. 3. There are outdoor areas at the hotel. While it is nice to celebrate with friends and family in these outdoor areas, please know that these parties can get loud and rowdy on weeknights and not just on weekends. For both of our stays at this hotel, we stayed on the fourth floor and we could hear the parties from our floor. If you are thinking that complaining to the front desk about the dogs or parties, don’t bother because the dogs and parties are guests. During our second stay at the hotel, our room was next door to someone with a dog. The dog barked continuously throughout the day which made working out of our hotel room difficult. We notified the front desk by phone and later in person to complain about the dog. As dog lovers, it was unfathomable that someone would leave their pet unattended in a strange hotel room for the entire day. Once the dog owner returned though, the dog was so happy to see its owner that the dog continued barking continuously except even LOUDER.…
Wow... surpassed my expectations by miles! I went on business, and I had a little trouble checking into my room (my boss had booked for me), front desk was firm and my boss and to come and check in for me. But once it was all sorted out, they were kind and professional. The room, for a cheap and standard hotel room, it was HUGE. Loads of cabinets and space that I would never use. There was even a couch area where you could pull around a privacy curtain. It was clean, and comfortable and the amenities were fantastic. The indoor pool was very nice with cool lights for night swimming. Also had exercise room and guest use computers. Also situated in a area next to a high shopping area with restaurants and different activities, including a cinema. Breakfast was also included, but I missed out. I imagine it’s been Covid impacted so maybe coffee cups and individually packaged pastries as the actual dining area was roped off. …
Positives: Overall, great hotel, easy to access, fast elevator, clean gym, rooms & common areas. Some loud noises could be heard such as suitcases being moved/rolled/thrown in the floor above our room multiple times. Some friends mentioned they could hear muffled sounds from others talking in rooms besides theirs so they were concerned others could hear them as well. As long as you don’t need a super quiet room at all times, this is definitely a great hotel. Mostly whisper quiet during sleeping hours, super easy to sleep & stay asleep. Comfortable beds. Light breakfast items available & coffee was always hot & ready. We were easily able to use the common areas in the evenings for gathering of some of the guests in our group to prepare for our next day’s events together. Thank you for a great hotel stay for our group. We booked at least 10 rooms all together. Negatives: Price at checkout was higher than quoted by phone. It was supposed to be a $125 group rate AFTER all taxes per Mrs. Patton but at checkout, an extra $40 in taxes/fees ware added total for 2 nights ($8.75 x2, $6.25x2 & $5x2). We were in a hurry to check out at 6am for the 3rd day of our fitness event so we just paid it. However, I would have preferred to just book an online rate in advance as it would have been cheaper than the group rate provided since additional taxes were added at checkout. Lesson learned, don’t trust the group rates provided after taxes if you’re on a tight budget, there will likely be extra fees/taxes. Also, lids for coffee cups were not available (on back order) on our first morning & lids provided on day 2 were too big to fit the cups so traveling to meeting location venue was tricky without lids. Coffee in room was not replenished for second night stay but was provided upon request.…
I have stayed at this hotel a few times & the staff is always friendly & everything is always very clean. The hotel is so close to great shopping & food, anything you need. I will book this hotel again!
In town for a soccer tournament. This place was perfect for our needs. The manager and the rest of the staff were great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Good value, great location, Clean suites. Has to be the best hotel in the area.
GREAT breakfast and surpassed our expectations! Loved the indoor pool and workout room! The pool was not heated when we got there but that was quickly resolved after maintenance came. The rooms were probably some of the CLEANEST and spacious rooms we’ve ever stayed in and I could not smell evidence of any pets before us! I was shocked at how clean the room was!
MULTI GRAIN WAFFLES WITH BUCKWHEAT AND HARD AS A ROCK BREAKFAST SANDWICHES, I CRIED MY CHILDREN CRIED-we had to go to the Waffle House!!!!! Also Sealy Mattresses were the worst, my wife and I suffered through after being used to a Serta I Comfort-these mattresses from Sealy were like the dark ages-we both were in pain and woke up with numb hands and feet. Although the room itself was AWESOME!!!!
If you are traveling with a pet specifically a dog this place is probably great for you if you are not be repaired for a lot of dog barking. The staff did try to contact people who left their dogs there all day in the room and were continuously barking.
Stayed here while in Cumming for our grandson’s wedding. Front desk personnel were friendly. Everything went well. Room clean, quiet, and very accommodating. Breakfast was good and coffee excellent! Will definitely stay here again!
