I stopped here on the way to Florida. The location is convenient to the interstate and restaurants. The building was clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The room was near the elevator so there was some noise, but that was the only negative. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and well appointed.
My wife and i spent one night at this location on our way to Florida recently. The staff was efficient and friendly, the room was very clean, the hotel was quiet, the wi-fi was adequate, and entire facility was very clean and updated. The only thing that we did not like was the road noise that came from the roads adjacent to the hotel frontal side. We had a room on the top floor but we should have stayed in the rear of the hotel. This can't be helped by the hotel staff but it was very noisy.
I had booked the wrong hotel and tried to book with this one. The lady over the phone was rude, said I had to come in person. I traveled about 25 miles north to get to this one and when I got there the lady at the desk tells me I needed to book online. After a short spout going back and forth with her about booking she told me there were other hotels if I didn't like her attitude. Unacceptable! Needless to say I travel for work and see many people, but never anyone as rude as her. I ended up staying at the Holiday Inn next to it so they lost my business and I filed a complaint with the corporate office.
My family rented the event room there to celebrate Thanksgiving and Dana and Makensie treated us like royalty. We ended up renting 2 rooms that night and renting the event room for 2 more ocassions. The hotel is nicely decorated for Christmas and is very clean. The girls at the desk were so nice and helpful helped us with little things we needed and with taking pictures of our large family. We love this place and will be the hotel we refer more family and friends too.
I am traveling to Florida and stopped here for the night I have work to do in my room I checked in and went to my room only to discover a very annoying high pitched whining sound which was very noticeable right away. I recorded it and called the front desk to explain my complaint and request a different room. I was told that that wasn’t possible. ( my bags were still on the trolly ) i hadn’t unpacked a thing and only touched the phone. She said she would send a maintenance n to my room to check on the noise. ??? Really? During COVID you are telling me to accept a stranger into my room? I don’t get how that is safer than switching my room I told her that wasn’t acceptable and she said that’s just the Policy I left and went to another hotel where they explained that would never happen to one of their guest and it was not Their policy. I’ll never recommend any hotel that puts their customers at risk. This doesn’t make sense to me. She let me walk and kept my full payment of the room. I was literally there for less than 15 minutes.…
