From the moment we got there , we found the Hampton In to be clean , friendly and the room ( suite ) was spacious and nice layout . The front desk was always smiling and always said good morning . Breakfast was decent , and they had many items you could. Choose from . We found it a comfortable place to stay and will definitely stay there again
Easy check in with very friendly staff. Super clean rooms and comfortable beds. Always a pleasure to stay at this property!! Newer facility and the staff does a great job to make sure you are made to feel welcome!! Didn’t do the breakfast, but saw lots of folks down there enjoying the food!
The room was nice & clean. The mattresses were comfortable. It had been a while since we stayed at a Hampton so were happy to see that it wasn't beaten looking. There was an indoor pool but we didn't try it. My only complaint was a broken waffle maker that made the waffles burnt edges & soggy center both at the same time. plus runny scrambled eggs.
Have stayed here prior and never had any issues inasmuch as it provided standard Hampton Inn expectations. However, this past trip was quite a disappointment. Room - while not filthy - was not particularly clean. The bedding was askew - bed skirt lopsided, comforter not properly put on. Bathroom floor dirty. Sofa looked filthy and upholstery was super scratchy. Was told upon checkin if you wanted maid service, you had to call for it. Generally that would pose no problem for me, but the hotel should definitely stock more towels/washcloths/shampoos in a room where the stay is 3+ days. Indoor pool/hot tub did not look clean at all - actually looked a bit green. Front desk staff was apathetic (and that's being kind). In a nutshell, hotel is tired and worn and mediocre at best. Won't stay here again.…
Two stars only because the cleaning staff were nice and the room was clean. This hotel is beyond tired; outside of the expected nicks and scratches, the room smelled, the elevators routinely go out (twice during our 1 night stay, and we heard the staff talking about it as a normal occurence), carpeting was stained, ice machine was broken on our floor (clearly for a while, since the tape and sign it held up were old and dirty), nowhere to sit except for one desk chair that didn't work very well... On top of that, the front desk manager spent his time busily texting, mask hanging off one ear. Even when I went downstairs and received a perfunctory "How are you?" from him, he never looked up. Lobby eating area would be all right except it was freezing - after our complaints that it was too cold to eat our dinner there and nowhere to eat in the room, nothing was done. Staff complained a while later and still, nothing done. Management took no responsibility for any issues and was completely unhelpful at all times. Hilton clearly doesn't consider this outpost a priority, or even half a priority. A pity. Really do not recommend staying here.…
We were supposed to stay at the La Quinta however they had electrical issues. I was relieved the Hampton Inn had a room on short notice. The front desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. The bathroom floor was dirty with hair and something else near the shower. Someone left a pair of puma shorts behind the bathroom sink on the floor. The carpet felt dirty and damp. The building was fine. I would prefer to stay at a cleaner property.
Once again, we are so pleased with our stay at Hampton Inn. The beds are so comfortable. The room is clean and it’s so quiet that you cannot hear your neighbor. We stayed here to rest our head while driving to Sanibel Island. If we ever need a stopover again we will stay here. Breakfast was just meh!
This was the 2nd hotel in our long road trip down to the Keys. It was a good stopping point. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, quiet, and cool. The clock was super bright and I didn't realize until the next morning that there was a dimmer on it that I could have used - oops! There was also a nightlight plugged in near the bathroom, which we prompted unplugged, since we sleep best in dark rooms. The couch was missing a decorative button, but otherwise was in good shape. The TV was on the small side, but had a good picture. Breakfast was as expected - eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, cereals, breads, yogurts and fruits. The staff did a good job keeping everything filled. All in all, a very good stay.
I booked the hotel through the Hilton app while enroute and was able to checkin and pick my room. The hotel does not offer digital keys at this time so live checkin to obtain keys is still required. The staff at the front desk (there were 2 even though we arrived at 11pm) were pleasant and efficient. Parking was sufficient and the lot was well lit. The hotel appeared to be clean and well maintained from what I observed during our brief stay. Our room was a king studio. It was comfortable and clean. The refrigerator’s performance seemed a bit suspect so we tossed a few perishables we’d stashed there when they didn’t seem cold enough the next morning. Breakfast was well organized and stocked although there was limited variety of hot foods and only light yogurt flavors available. I usually use mobile checkout but we had to pass by the front desk on the way to the car. Checkout was easy, too. My only complaint about the room/stay is the amount and size of the trash cans in our room for the size of our suite. They seemed very small and we had to discard a few items next to the cans. One other thing I want to note is that my husband and I are still cautious about avoiding possible COVID-19 infection. We voluntarily wear masks in public spaces. We felt very comfortable during our stay in this regard. I noticed of the signage at the hotel seemed to reflect older CDC guidance, for instance, a poster outside the elevators on the fourth floor indicated masks were required for all guests and staff. This seemed outdated and definitely didn’t appeared to be enforced, especially as many staff were maskless, which is consistent with the guidance in effect during our visit. I suspect it was supposed to be removed and was missed.…
The hotel looks old and tired. Service is outstanding and friendly. The linens are of good quality, and the bathroom was very clean. The rates have gone up post-Covid. Other hotels in the HIlton brand in the area were booked up.
