We took a spur of the moment trip to our favorite town of Blue Ridge. Fortunately for us we discovered Aska Lodge Bed and Breakfast. When we arrived, we immediately knew we chose the right place to stay. Melissa welcomed us into the lodge and it felt like we were welcomed into Melissa and Steve's own home. Our room was was spacious and well furnished. We enjoyed the fire pit and met other guests. The next morning we were served a homemade breakfast. Melissa and Steve follow all Covid-19 guidelines. We plan to make our stay at Aska Lodge Bed and Breakfast a reoccurring stay when we visit the Blue Ridge area. Take the time to visit this bed and breakfast and you will not be disappointed. For us, Aska Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a true demonstration of hospitality.
Aska Lodge is nothing short of magical - easily one of the best Bed & Breakfasts I’ve ever had the good fortune of visiting. My wife and I spent three glorious nights under the care of the new owners Melissa and Steve, and we felt like royalty. Not only do they provide a beautiful get-away but they engage in meaningful and interesting conversation that puts you right at home. Our bed was like sleeping on clouds, and the room had everything we could possibly need. And don’t even get me started on the breakfast - the French toast alone would be reason enough for me to drive six hours back to Georgia and stay for another week. Plus you couldn’t ask for a better spot to be close to all kinds of amazing restaurants, shops, hiking trails, wineries, orchards, and a SASQUATCH MUSEUM. And at the end of a long day, you can relax by a bonfire right in their front yard looking out over the beautiful Georgia wilderness or sit by the fireplace with a cup of tea and a good book. Aska Lodge is about as close to paradise as you can get - once there you will feel like family and start planning your next trip right away. I cannot recommend it highly enough!…
This having been our third time to visit Aska Lodge it never disappoints. Melissa and Steve are the perfect hosts while catering to your every need. The breakfasts are great and perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to hit it on a day when they do their fabulous French toast! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, we highly recommend this unique inn.
Steve and Melissa went out of their way to make us feel at home and welcome in their B&B. The breakfast was amazing and one special touch was chocolate covered strawberries made by Melissa. Jan and I loved time just setting by the fireplace and playing cards and relaxed conversation with Steve and Melissa. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we spent lots of time in the room just reading a book. Looking out the window at night just to look at the moon was a nice touch as well. We will go back and spend more time.
What an enjoyable stay! Melissa and Steve were so accommodating and hospitable during our time at Aska Lodge. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. With the warm and inviting environment, we were welcomed as if we were family. Other guests there were engaging and had a wonderful time meeting and sharing with each other. Excellent location to outdoor and in town activities. Would definitely return!!
