I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice now for business. The location is very convenient. The area is nice and quiet. The facility is clean and well appointed. The guest services are exceptional! I know I will misspell her name, but I have to share an experience I had on 1/29/25 with Myrelanda.
Very long story, but I found myself searching for ice and finding a temporarily down ice machine. Just then, a wonderful employee saw me. She could have easily walked away, as I was a bit is a distance from her and she was actively working on something. Instead she asked me what was wrong. She then took the ice bucket from me, asked my room number, and said she would get me some ice from another floor and bring it to my room. She showed up at my door just moments later.
I deeply appreciated her kindness and willingness to offer help proactively. She made a long travel day a bit more comfortable, and she did it all with a warm smile and kind words.

We stayed one night in February, with two adults and two teenagers. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, nice and even upgraded us to a newly renovated room on the top floor (Marriott Bonvoy member), which doesn't happen very often anymore! We chose the hotel for its proximity to the airport and although the shuttle was fully booked for the morning (we had some flight troubles so drove from Miami to West Palm for an early morning flight), we were easily able to order an Uber for a 4:00am pickup. I would definitely stay again. We were able to have a glass of wine on the outside courtyard, which was decorated tastefully and comfortably. Once the mosquitos arrived, we were comfortable in the lobby. The restaurant onsite is good too.

I have stayed here twice for business in the last 2 months since it is high season in Florida and my preferred Marriott location is either sold out or too expensive. I will say that this last stay will be my last at this location. The rooms are completely out of date and need a renovation. I was put in a room next to the elevators and that is all I heard day and night. The previous time I was in a room that had connecting doors and I felt as if the person in the other room was in my room. The doors to the hallway don't have a tight seal, light comes in from all angles.
I do like that there is a lounge at this location and I have had a decent breakfast each morning along with a fully stocked beverage fridge and great coffee.
However the location of this hotel is not ideal either. You have to cross the train tracks and a very busy intersection to get to all the shops/restaurants/convention center.
I did find the hotel staff to be friendly except for one front desk team member. This last trip I was checked out of my room twice by "someone else" . This made me have to go down to the desk multiple times to get new keys. As I did this, the one individual argued with me twice about my check out. One instance where someone else that wasn't my name checked out of my room. And the other instance when I was actually checking out on my correct date, argued with me that I was checking out the next day.

I’m so disappointed with the hotel service. A renowned and credible hotel chain. I believed it to be an honest and ethical place. I stayed there from June 15th-18th. The day before I left, I left my white engagement dress on the bed, when I came back at night the dress was gone with the sheets and towels, the next day before a I leave talked with front desk, they told me that they send to another company to wash all their stuff. They assured me they would find my dress and send it to me. So many days that I called and they kept saying that they will find out. The result? NEVER got my dress back and no one NERVER called me to give me any explanation.
I even sent a picture that I had from the day before with the dress on the bed. Never will gonna stay on this hotel anymore and giving a hands up for you that is planing to stay there, it’s not safe and you can’t trust on them.

Absolutely horrifying and upsetting experience at this hotel. I had booked this hotel for 6 nights to stay for my father's funeral. I had some travel issues and ended up arriving a day later than expected---unbeknownst to me, the hotel had CANCELLED my stay leaving me with nowhere to stay for the entire week.
They never called, emailed or anything to check whether i was coming--they cancelled the ENTIRE trip with no contact.
It was extremely stressful and traumatic to have travelled all the way there and be in a foreign city, about to bury my father, and to have this happen.
The staff were unprofessional, rude, unintelligent, and made no attempt to make it up to me. In fact, the manager lied at first saying that there were still two rooms available for us--then had us wait and told us that actually there were no rooms, leaving us to look for another hotel that same day.
DO NOT patronize this establishment--very unprofessional, hostile, and liars that don't know what they're doing.

Pretty nice hotel for under $200, which is hard to do anywhere in Florida, especially on the lower eastern seaboard. We always stay at this hotel for a night when we are flying out the next morning from West Palm Beach Airport (PBI). Our flight is always around 6am, so staying this close and only 5 minutes by Uber, is the way to go. The hotel has a free shuttle that operates every 30 minutes at the top of the hour and half hour. But it starts every day at 6am and our flight is usually boarding by that time, so we have to Uber our way there and it is quite reasonable. Rooms are nice, bathrooms in good shape, well maintained hotel. But like all American hotels, very few are top level. I am a Platinum For Life Member so I am married to Marriott brands, and most are in better shape than other brand of hotels.

The staff was very helpful. We originally booked for one night but our flight was delayed and we had to stay over , even though they said they were fully booked, they found ĂĽs a room and gave ĂĽs a complimentary breakfast because the concieger lounge was closed on the weekend. The room was beautiful.

It may be the time of year (Presidents Day weekend) - the cost of a room was painfully expensive at $600 plus. Odd as this hotel is the choice for airline and Netjet crews. This hotel is average in so many ways - has a somewhat small pool area, Bistro restraints with a limited menu and a club lounge with short hours. I've stayed over 750 nights in Marriott hotels since 2006 - this is plain vanilla as it gets and a one and done for me. Self park is $16 per day. Friendly and professional staff. Not at all a destination hotel.

I had the pleasure of actually staying here after years of breakfast and lunches at this location. The hotel is located on the perimeter of the main city attractions and financial district. This is a plus as the traffic and congestion are avoidable. In addition, the airport is a 10 minute commute which is also a plus.
The hotel's lobby is presently being renovated but looks to be completed in a week or two. The staff is always pleasant here - - after all, with 80 degree weather in mid December, there's not much to grumble about in the dead of winter.
The grounds aren't much to admire. In fact, the parking lots are the grounds. The rooms are relatively small but up to date. Get a room on the west side to overlook the lake. Rooms on the east face downtown. The downtown area features Cityplace - the main shopping, restaurant and entertainment location of the city. One can actually walk to this location safely or catch the shuttle from the hotel.

There are many restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel offers a free shuttle. Shuttle stops include the convention center and 'City Place," which has many restaurants. If you want to go to places where the shuttle does not go, you may want to rent a car or use a ride service like Uber.
