The Hilton West Palm Beach garners high marks for its cleanliness and the vibrant atmosphere that pervades its premises, complete with live music and an energetic pool scene. While the hotel's location earns accolades for its proximity to local dining, shopping, and attractions, some guests have called out issues with room cleanliness and unexpected charges, which detract from the overall value. Service at the hotel is often commended for the staff's professionalism and warmth, though it's not without occasional hiccups. Amenities like the pool and fitness options are popular, though additional costs can be a concern.

Stayed at Hilton for 6 nights with a group of 11 had two sets of connecting rooms

Check in was simple and very easy being a honours member they made you feel a bit more loved

Rooms had what you need and everything worked only thing I’d say is the carpet under the bed area needs to be cleaned as it was looking a bit tired showers were excellent

Housekeeping were always great and efficient not loud or late like some hotels

Plenty of water in the room for guests

Poolside area pools clean and always had somewhere to rest only thing we found was having a large glass bottle of complementary water was a bit difficult at times however good that they are trying to be sustainable hotels

Beach was basic it’s the palm never going to be great

Gym had enough to use but no curve runner

Breakfast buffet , no vegetarian sausages available was always busy if you was late good luck the wait could be up to 30min selection of food was ok for sure

The property had plenty of good places to hang out drink eat relax as family and plenty of security also

Pubs were great with the live music also.

O.M.G. this place is fabulous!! Verrry upscale vibe, the pool was incredible, lots of fun spots to walk to. Highly recommend!! The lotion, shampoo, conditioner is bougie and smells amazing! The only complaint I have is they give you a $15 per day credit towards food/drink but the prices were outrageous! One drink was like $30. We used it on 2 cups of coffee to go and that came to $12.

Beautiful hotel with a fun vibe. Excellent food and drinks and stellar room. So grateful for seeing sustainable materials and options in the rooms (i.e. aluminum water and pump soap vs disposable bottles). While I was here for work at the Convention center, I happily recommend for all your travel and stay needs.

This Hilton is about 10 years old, has a nice outdoor pool, and dining options which open up into that pool area. There's also a grassy area south of the pool to exercise on and it is adjacent/connected to the Convention Center. There are 12 floors and there's a gym on the 1st floor. Breakfast starts at 7am. It's generally a nice-looking hotel and the staff are friendly (starting with facts, then sharing details on my experience).

Before arriving, I had to reconfirm my CC for them to make a deposit - after doing so, I started getting texts asking how my stay was (even though I hadn't arrived yet). This is minor but I learned after I arrived why I got this unusual communication. On arrival after 6pm it looked very busy, and the front desk person started by telling me they had a low floor room for me, AND it wasn't ready. Surprised, I asked if I could just get another room and whether they could honor my high floor preference as a Diamond - she said 'no' and started looking for rooms, then 'finding' a 7th floor room only to tell me "wait - oh, the guy next to me just grabbed that room for the person there" - so, I don't know how he got a room she could not and this other person was a colleague who I knew didn't have any Hilton status, so I was confused why she could get a 7th floor room when I couldn't get a room, much less one above the lower floors. She spent a few minutes finding her manager and found me a 'better room' on the 4th floor (not sure what was better about it), so I went my way.

During my stay, my dozens of colleagues staying there for the event, too, all had rooms on high floors and none had any Hilton stay history.

I ate at the restaurant twice a day every day and also had an event there in addition - the food and service was good but they had an automatic 20% tip, and the hotel has a resort charge, and food prices were also pretty high, so it just felt like we were getting charged for a lot of small things. One of my guests valeted his car and the waiter said he could validate, so that seemed like a good thing, but when I saw him off the valet staff took the ticket and said "oh, only half of the cost is taken care of - you need to pay me another $10" (I'd say validate for all or don't - it seems weird to do this in between).

On checkout, I left my bag for the day since I needed to have meetings during the day - by 7:45am, there were about 40 bags behind the counter, so it just seemed like the staff was very overwhelmed.

In summary, while the hotel was newish, location good, and staff friendly, they seemed too busy for (1) text welcoming and checking in on you since they asked before I showed up, (2) servicing rooms since room wasn't ready at 6pm, (3) handling check-out and tagging bags. On top of that, the 20% auto-tip, high food prices, and inability to provide a Diamond a 'better' room was disappointing - if I was told "high floor rooms are reserved for ..." or "you checked in late so we gave all the other rooms up" or something, it'd at least give me an idea why it felt like I was not valued as a Diamond (& one who spent more than my total room rate in dining during my stay).

First off we are diamond for life members. Do you know how many times you need to stay at a Hilton to earn that status? A Lot!! We’ve been to hiltons all over the USA and even in other countries. This was one of the few times our status as Diamond members was completely ignored. We were told there would be an upgraded room at check in, however once there the front desk guy said he could only upgrade us to a jr suite if we paid an additional 179$ per night. We had used hundreds of thousands of points to stay there so paying an additional 179$ in cash was ridiculous for a low level jr suite. I was told originally when we booked we could be put on the 12th floor executive level. Then I was told by online chat that would now cost an additional 40$ per night, upon arrival I was told no to the 12th floor.
We were given a 4th floor room that faced a view of air conditioning units on a roof. No view at all.
No executive privileges at all aside from a small 15$ credit each day. One martini at the bar was 23$ plus an auto tip and tax so the 15$ credit is a joke. They took away the executive lounge.
Our room had a non working phone so a request for more blankets meant a trip downstairs to the front desk. We didn’t even have robes or extra pillows or even toilet paper in our room.

Over all the pool was nice and pool staff were great but with offering diamond members (especially diamond for LIFE) members NO PERKS we definitely won’t be back to this location and cannot recommend it to others.
I am very disappointed in our treatment.

The room was spacious, the two queen beds comfortable and the sound isolation was exceptional, but I expected more for the amount of money it cost. The carpet in front of the refrigerator was so wet it soaked through my socks when we arrived. Behind the door in the bathroom were two bikinis left by previous guests. The sink in the bathroom was not completely stopped up, but whenever you turned the faucets on, the water would start backing up into the sink leaving anything you were trying to rinse down the sink, floating. There was no air vent in the bathroom, so smells were shared with the room. The Wi-Fi was slow, unless you wanted to pay MORE money. The cold ham and cheese sandwiches in the convenience area were $14. We were given a $15 dollar credit for food during our stay, but considering the breakfast was $32 per person, per day, it didn't go far. There was a nice little coffee shop, but after ordering my coffee I was informed they had no creamer or even half-and-half, so I had to accept milk. The refrigerator was stocked with... nothing. Two small plain water bottles were complementary, and one larger bottle we didn't touch because it seemed to indicate you would be charged, though there was no indication of how much. The thermostat seemed woefully unresponsive and the temperature it indicated it was set to was very different from what the same temperature at our home feels like, so it took us 36 hours to get the room to the feel of what we are accustomed to at home. Though the room was pre-paid, we had to leave a $300 deposit when we arrived. I expected it was a formality in case we broke something, or charged a lot to our room, but at check-out, I was unhappy to discover that there was another reason... my check-out receipt revealed that I was being charged an additional $40 "Destination Charge" (not even the receptionist could explain what that was other than "something we charge everyone"), plus $2.80 for a "Room State Tax", and $2.40 for a "Room OCC - County Tax"... all three charged repeatedly for each day of the stay. Overall, the hotel was nice, but I was expecting first class, and the only thing first class were the prices.

Beware of this hotel, they will rip you off! Our reservation included breakfast, we actually only had it one morning. It included the Al a carte breakfast and we only had the buffet told the server our room number and he gave us a bill of $121.00 USD we explained it was included in our room and he said they would deduct this off when we checked out, however they did not and charged us and took it out of our credit card holding fee and refused to refund us. This is stealing!!! We are currently working with the bank to have this theft of our money reversed. Shame on you Hilton, thanks for ruining a great holiday. We spoke to a the Manager there Kietra Pierre, Assistant director of front office , supposedly a Manager, must be joking absolutely rude and not willing to assist in any way at all. They take your money up front and you don’t have a leg to stand on.
Stay somewhere else!

I gave a two star review based receiving plastic ware with my $60 steak. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s in the news nonstop about microplastics and the heath concerns. I decided to request metal dinnerware and was told that plastic dinnerware was the only option for room service. The cost is too high to receive plastic utensils with a meal. This is a first for me.

Great hotel, great pool area, nice lobby! Basically I would recommend this place at any time, unfortunately it left a very bland aftertaste: The beach chairs included in our package were charged at 100€ (3 chairs for one day). Only after we checked the bill and made the reception aware of it was this cancelled. But what really upsets us now is the fact that 2x the breakfast was charged extra, even though we had already booked and paid for this! My husband also noticed this at the reception, we were assured that we would change this - but obviously did not. We had to leave very early in the morning, so the reception was not fully staffed to check the final balance again. Only at home in Germany did we notice that they even charged 2x breakfast extra, although this was booked in our rate. We've already written two emails, yet we haven't heard from the Hilton West Palm Beach. Is that a ploy? That wrong amounts appear on the invoice and then - even after repeated complaints - you simply do not react to them? This is several hundred euros, so in the end, unfortunately, one is very angry about the unprofessional actions of the employees at the reception of this hotel. We continue to wait and hope that everything will be sorted out. Too bad, that's better!

I stayed at the Hilton West Palm Beach Hotel for one night, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory, resulting in a 3-star rating.

I made a reservation for three nights directly on the hotel's website after canceling a booking at a nearby Hyatt hotel due to the absence of a pool there. Upon checking in at the Hilton and receiving our keys, we were informed that their pool was closed for renovations. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable, as we had chosen the Hilton partly for its pool amenities.

We were left with no choice but to stay for one night since it was too late to find another room. We decided to cancel the rest of our stay and booked a room at The Ben, where we enjoyed our stay, including time in the pool.

My main concern is that the Hilton should have clearly communicated the pool closure on their website. It felt like a bait-and-switch situation, as we booked based on the assumption that we would have access to a pool. This lack of transparency greatly affected our experience at the Hilton West Palm Beach Hotel.
