I stayed here because of reputation, price, comfort, and location in that order. The main issue I had was that the bed was not doo comfortable., it had that dip in the center from overabundance of use and needs to be replaced. One the other hand the room was clean and comfortable. nice tv, couch, bathroom, and mini fridge. Although I didn't use the pool it was clean and looked inviting. I did see some teenage in it and they seemed to like the pool. The breakfast was awesome and a great selection of hot and cold things. You will leave stuffed after breakfast included in the price by the way. Staff was really friendly. The location is about a mile off i95 and it took about 15 minutes to get the "The square" which is a great eatery location and shops", and the beach is another 5 minutes from there. It about 15 min from Mar-a-largo club if that's your thing to drive by and see his mansion. Overall a good stay and I'd recommend this hotel.

This was our first visit to West Palm Beach and we stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott. The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. They offer a free Continental Breakfast every morning, which was very good with variations of items every day. You could make your own waffles, eat dry cereal or oatmeal, eggs, meats, fruit, pastries and breads. Our room was very comfortable and clean. This was a very nice hotel.

We had to stay at this hotel last minute due to a snafu with our other lodging arrangements. We stopped by and the folks at the front desk were able to let us check into a room without having made a reservation prior to just showing up. All that was available was a room with two queen beds but beggars can’t be choosers.
Some positives: Friendly staff Comfortable beds Large rooms Mini fridge and microwave in rooms Two closets Free continental breakfast and water throughout the day Good location, off of 95
Some negatives: Dated rooms especially the bathrooms Temperamental shower, from the temperature to water not draining Louder and more crowded on Saturday nights Bathroom light doesn’t work unless light in adjacent living room area is on Dirty walls, especially in sink area Outdoor screen is ripped so we couldn’t open the window without avoiding bugs in the room Air conditioning unit blows non-stop even after desired temperature has been reached
We can’t comment on the pool (too cold to swim), the gym, or the laundry. But it’s nice that this hotel has all three! Despite having some negatives, we’d stay here again!

Nice but we’ll choose another hotel next time we’re in town. No washcloths in the room and when requested we were initially told that we weren’t entitled to them because our stay was only for two nights. Explaining that we only had two towels was more difficult than it needed to be. Not important but while I’m here… Please add Fresh fruit to the breakfast bar.

Horrible experience. If I could rate this hotel a 0, I would. First and foremost, please know that this hotel is a franchisee and is not directly owned by Marriott, therefore their quality of service is extremely poor for the following reasons. Upon arrival, both AC air filters were extremely dirty which caused an allergy flare up. After complaining to the front desk, the guy in charge, Steve, offered to change our room. The filters in the new room were fine but then the shower clogged and there were food crumbs behind the tv stand and night stand which means the room was not clean. We had to request for room service everyday because if you stay more than 4 days you have to request it. Due to so many inconveniences, they offered to credit us for one night. Then they advertise breakfast included and all they provide is a brown paper bag with granola bar, fruit cup, small orange juice and blueberry muffin. When we brought it to their attention, Steve stated that due to CDC guidelines they could not provide breakfast and then Gigi (manager) stated that they don't have enough staff to cook the breakfast. The pool was dirty. The last day of our stay, the shower clogged again. Due to so many inconveniences, we called Corporate Marriott to report everything and all they offered us was 5,000 points towards our Marriott membership. The hotel refused to credit us anything else because they felt that one night was sufficient for all the headaches we had been through. My family and I stayed 10 days. So my advice to anyone is if you don't want to go through all these inconveniences don't stay here.

The only nice thing about this hotel was The coffee, unfortunately the staff didn’t have enough sense to have enough on hand for the hotel guest. The room was dirty and we didn’t once have a hot shower, it was cold or luck warm. They didn’t make our room until we made a fuss and asked them to more then 3 of our nights. We stayed 9 nights and over one week end, the staff didn’t inform us that it would be more then one dollars a night more for the week end. The pool was over crawded because the sister hotel next door ( Hilton ). Pool was not in use so all the patrons came to our pool. Over all completely disappointed and will not be spending our time at the Marriott or the Hilton Hotels. Wast of money and holiday

We read the reviews beforehand, but really didn't get a feel for how rundown and tired this hotel really is. The only thing that made it tolerable was that as we asked the staff to fix the many issues we encountered, they reacted positively and tried to make our stay a bit more pleasant. The employees and their supervisors were consistently polite and helpful. Oh, and the location is good, right near the big highway, making it easy to get places.
There were so many things wrong that it is difficult to write this review. We had two rooms. I woke up the first morning I was there to hear through the walls my neighbors talking...... thin walls. The slide-out bed in my room was filthy. The mattress on the queen-size bed was very soft. One of the two computers in the business center did not work at all and the other one had problems printing .pdf files.
They have not resumed hot breakfasts, which is typically a pleasure at Springhill Suites. The brown paper bag breakfast they provided was pretty limited: box of orange juice, muffin, pre-packaged fruit cocktail, granola bar. Geez, they could still do a paper bag and at least put in some yoghurt or a banana. The walls had chipped paint. The microwave did not work and maintenance had to come to replace it. The bathroom faucet did not work properly. And so on...........
We spoke to other people in the lobby area. It wasn't just our bad luck, this is a tired hotel that hasn't been maintained.
Sad, as we are Ambassador level with Marriott and, so, have been to other Springhill Suites which are excellent. As a matter of fact, until this trip we thought of Springhill Suites as very good value for money. The rates we paid at this Springhill Suites were much too high for what we received.

Encountered multiple issues during our stay (see details below). Brought this to the manager's attention (via email), but never got a response - this definitely shows how much they care about their guests. As a Marriott lifetime gold member, I was very disappointed with the stay.
1) We stayed in room 411. Both the shampoo and body wash were COMPLETELY out (only the conditioner bottle was refilled), so none of us could shower properly. Unfortunately, we discovered this after midnight, so we hesitated to contact the front desk. 2) The mattress of the trundle bed in room 411 was so dirty that my daughter refused to use it and ended up sharing the bed with others. 3) Upon check-in, neither elevator was functioning properly. Elevator #1 kept opening and closing repeatedly (on the first floor), while elevator #2 was not responding to service calls. We had to wait a significant amount of time while they are being repaired before we could get to the fourth floor with our luggage.

All around bad experience at this hotel. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and said something after the first night. Was told I could get another mattress topper and then told that was not available. Partner had to sleep on the couch duration of the trip. Next issue was the pool was closed with no notice the whole day (not even a sign at the front desk) and opened without notice. Last but certainly not least found a dead roach in my refrigerator. Manager on duty didn’t seem to care or be phased. I was only offered a new room when my partner made a big stink. I was given a 10.00 credit and told the head manager would not be at work until the day after I left. The manager on duty said my card would not be charged until I spoke to the head manager. I was reassured countless times he or she would be in contact with me, I am still waiting for that call and they charged my card right after I checked out. This Marriott ignored requests from booking.com, myself, my credit card company and Marriott corporate. They seem to make their own rules at this hotel and lie to a customer's face.
