Briana & her mgr Shaddya shouldn’t be anywhere near the customer service industry. Unbelievably rude & unhelpful…and so not necessary. They could care less about the patrons at the hotel & made my stay there quite miserable. A simple extension to my stay there for an extra day turned into a fiasco. The hotel did not honor what had been told to me the day before (about remaining in the same room) & Briana lied to her mgr about what she offered me. Then they threatened to *lock the room up* with my things in it if I wasn’t out in 5 minutes…literally 5 minutes. No one was yelling or rude to either of them yet I received the worst kind of treatment from those two nasty women. Putting women like that on the front line to deal with customers was a serious mistake on this hotel’s part. Shame on you all for letting your staff conduct themselves that rudely towards guests.…

Here is my honest review of the Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center. We stayed 3 nights in September for a professional conference. First, the positive. The large conference room was very nice. It was spacious, clean, and met our needs. Their staff was great with attending to us during our breakfasts, lunches, and dinner. They were attentive and polite. The food was tasty during the conference. The beach is beautiful. Now, the negatives. This hotel was probably once a grand place, but it is now a cheap motel. There is paint chipping off in many areas. My colleague had an entire dresser drawer missing and I had a broken wall lamp by my bed. My other colleague had a roach in her room. The swimming pool was closed the entire stay. I asked about it on day #2 and was told it was a broken motor and that it should be fixed later that day. It was not fixed. Several parts of the wooden boardwalk are broken and closed off. I never saw the two restaurants at the hotel open, just the little snack bar. The bed was hard as a rock. I've literally never slept on a bed that hard. This place has seen better days, and had I been a family on a vacation paying hard earned money, I would have been really upset. Please read the other reviews. They are truthful. This place is horrible and deserves zero stars. From not having our reservation to the room being so disgusting to finding the back door wide open to room…. It’s not worth it. So disappointed. We left and went to another hotel.

Please note, I have stayed at many locations on PCB and the only reason I was here is because of a family event. This place is a DUMP and a health hazard. I would like to bring my very unpleasant stay to your attention. The staff are nice, professional and very welcoming! This is not a reflection upon the staff, at all. Although the manager, Marcus Jones was very unprofessional over the phone. This is the most rundown, unhealthy room I've ever experienced. Please note, I did not take a single picture, because they are fully aware this place is not well kept!!! 1. From the inside of the room, the bottom of the right door has a major crack, which allows for the cockroaches to come into the room. Walked up to 5 - 6 cockroaches outside the door. I had to stuff a towel in the crack to prevent them from coming inside the room. 2. There is black mold all over the bathroom area, including the hair dryer cord. This mold is very dangerous to anyone with breathing problems. 3. The electrical outlet on the wall near the bed, is improperly placed on the wall, and there is a large gap. I was terrified to use this plug. 4. The AC until is rusted with mold and has a large hole as well. This blew in musty air the entire time. 5. The bathtub had a filthy, sand film on the surface and I had to place a towel down, inside the shower. The drain did not work, so I had to stand in sitting water. 6. There is rust all over the towel rack in the bathroom area and closet, thus made it non usable. 7. The tiles in the closet area ceiling are partially exposed, allowing installation dust to blow into the room when the air circulates. 8. The walls and floors in the bathroom are covered in mildew and mold. This causes breathing issues. 9. The toilet paper holder is barely hanging on, as the screw is partially removed from the wall. 10. The bathroom door has been chewed and destroyed by a pet. 11. The walkway to the room is dark and felt unsafe!!! 12. Bed is as hard as they come!!! The room was absolutely disgusting and the mold is a health issue!!!! This room should not be rented to any further guests until improvements are made. I did not bring these matters to the attention of the front desk, as I knew it would not make a difference. As a manger and/or owner, I expect you to make the difference!!! I did send 3 emails without a response and when I did speak with Marcus Jones, his words, "you should have reported this while on the property, there is nothing we can do about it now". Sadly, he hung up on me and did not want to hear how to fix the issues. DO NOT waste your money or risk your health staying in this hotel. Yes the location is on the beach, so are so many other hotels!!! …

Staff was ok. The facility was more like a motel. Needs serious maintenance and repairs. The photo of the facility on Google is misleading. For the price I paid, I wouldn’t recommend. Bring your own towels and beach blanket.

This is our fourth trip here and we didn't get the room promised and we didn't get a room until 7:00 pm The staff was rude, TV didn't work, none of the ice machines worked. Pool closed, room needs updated. We have been here like I said several times This will be our last time.

Front desk courteous. Ice machines out of order. Room card did not work near check out time. Room clean. No light switch by door. Firm bed. Pillows comfortable. Ideal for pets. Enjoyed having soap/shampoo dispensers instead of regular soap bars, etc. Difficult to locate the correct building. Parking lot doesn’t drain water well during a storm. Allowed us to park our enclosed trailer with security permission.

Paid almost $1000 to sleep in a room that was filthy, trash was in the floor, hair and dirt in the bed. First night a roach was in the tub thank gif it wnt into the drain but next night moved fridge to plug in microwave and a whole family of roaches scattered singing we are a family 🤦🏼♀️😂 key trying to call front desk and NO a answer wlwaked down to be told the manager won’t be available until Tuesday. Don’t waste your money you’d be better off sleeping on the street!

This place is way outdated. Had booked a room for six people and had 2 sets of towels. Multiple calls to room service and had one delivery the first day and none the second after multiple calls. Towels in room smelled horrible as well as bedding but looked clean enough to crash on. Customers looked shady at minimum and I got lots of flak from fam about booking us in the hepatitis clinic. NO ice machine for free even though I was told there was when booking. Pros the water was HOT! The ac split unit was kicking cold and they had two nice pools and a boardwalk right on the ocean (which was experiencing lots of algae bloom which is in no way hotels fault). If you can get a super deal for 100/night I would suggest but otherwise skip the Oceanside and book a nicer room somewhere else. …

We had a great ocean view room!! Pet friendly!! The room was clean, bed was hard. The check in staff especially Chris was very helpful!! The Anchor restaurant was closed but Under the Broadwalk restaurant was open. Ann with security was very friendly and walked us down to the restaurant. Kacie at the restaurant was great!! Loved that we could take our dog on the beach!!
