Average hotel with some things to improve. Stayed for 4 nights. Room was refreshed upon our complaint to front desk. Bathroom was in an accessible room and not properly taken care of, thus water was everywhere, even when trying to be tiddy. Hotel amenities are ok, breakfast options are limited. Home 2 Suites next door is a better option.

We stayed here for a week visit to the Panama City Beach area. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered everything we needed to enjoy our time. Several nearby restaurants and shopping options. Beach access is close to the hotel location..

When I checked in, my status (Titanium Elite) was NEVER acknowledged and NEVER offered a choice of a welcome gift or extra point. Marriott standards are going to crap at the expense of poor customer service from the staff at their franchise locations. My family and I checked in on a Friday night for a 3-night weekend Labor Day Weekend checking out on Monday (Labor Day). The hotel was mice and clean. The pool was great, and the kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was ok (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage patties, bacon, toast. Cereal and milk, juice). On the first night my family and I could not take a shower due to no hot water and the bathtub not draining. I went down to the front desk and requested another room, but I was given the option to move rooms. The night desk attendant told me “I cannot switch your room with the managers approval”. She claimed she texted the manager and told me that she would call me as soon as she heard something. Of course, I NEVER received a call. The next morning around 7:00 AM I went down to the front desk and ask the associate why I never received a call back or why she didn’t give me a different room. She showed me the text message that she had sent to the management, but she stated that no one responded. POOR MANAGEMENT at best. I have NEVER heard of a hotel of any chain refusing to move a guest to another room if the room assigned to has problems. I also have NEVER heard of a front desk overnight associate without empowerment powers to take of the guest. Around 8:30 AM the next day a gentleman who claimed to be housekeeping arrived with a plunger. I explained the problem with the tub and the night associate. He stated that “I am the person who makes the decision on whether or not to move a guest to another room”. He then asked me “are you a member”? My response was yes, I am a member, but what does membership have to do with a guest dissatisfaction with room with a tub not draining. He asked me if I wanted to move to another room or did, I want him to try and fix the drainage problem. I told him whatever works for and that I would be noting the issues on my Marriott review of the hotel. I guess that statement made him upset because his response was “I guess it doesn’t matter what I do, you’re going to give me bad review anyway”. We let for the day and returned about 6 hours later. The tub drainage problem had been fixed. Housekeeping had come in and half cleaned the room, emptied the waste basket and left the bag of trash in the middle of the floor. Each and every time we returned to hotel, the front desk associates NEVER spoke or acknowledge us. They are just not sociable or customer and NOT customer friendly. One night my granddaughter wanted to purchase some chips from the shop. She stood at the counter for more than a minute without anyone coming out to assist her. I could see a guy sitting at a desk in the back looking at us, but NEVER came to the counter. I finally called out to him, and he came up to the front. Maybe they are prejudice towards African American guests. That’s my opinion. We felt very UNWELCOME during our entire stay. I will NEVER stay at this location again. Location = 6 Hotel cleanliness = 9 Breakfast + 9 Customer Service = 0 Management = 0 Breakfast Attendant = 10

For the second year in a row, I’ve stayed at this hotel to attend a lacrosse tournament. Last year, my room was not cleaned during my stay, so this year I specifically typed the request in my reservation, and verbally asked the attendant when I checked in, to ensure that my room was cleaned each day. I was assured it would be done. After being at the tournament all day, we returned to a room that had not been cleaned. Front desk sent up fresh towels as a consolation. I will choose an alternate location in the future; one that can honor my simple request. As a working mom, having the room cleaned is partly what makes this trip a vacation for me. Also, the breakfast is very mediocre. On a positive note, the building is nice and in a great location, and the employees are very friendly.

I recently stay at the Fairfield Inn, Pamana City Beach. Hotel was clean, professional attentive staff, and excellent manager. The front desk clerk was answering the phone as I approached the desk. The manager hurried over to make sure I received prompt attention. It was a Saturday, how many mangers work on Saturday? When I complemented on the hotel and asked if it was a new build, I was amazed when he said 6 years old. He said most of his staff had been with him since it opened. I would definately recommend a stay here. It's only a few miles from the beach and many restaurant and stores. Great clean place with comfortable bed and free breakfast.

We stayed two nights at this Fairfield and we felt very welcome; all of the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was nice and it was clean. It did have what looked like a water leak over the window with some drywall loose and some missing but it wasn’t a big deal. Breakfast was good and fresh. Oatmeal, make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, Bagels, cereal, etc. it was all good except for the “weird bacon” as my husband called it. It might have been turkey bacon but it didn’t even taste like that. I stuck with the oatmeal! We would stay here again!

My family had reservation for 2 rooms, 4 nights in late June. Traffic was horrible on I65, so after 12 hours on the road I stopped to inform the hotel that we would be late. I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled because the credit card had rejected the charge and the rooms had been sold. Marriot Rewards team was able to find two rooms at a property in Panama City for a $1,000 premium. When we checked in at 9:00 p.m., the credit cart that had rejected the original $2,284 was successfully used to pay for a $3,200 set of rooms. I have tried to get someone to do something to reimburse me for the extra costs (would accept points on my Rewards account) but finally, two weeks after I started the process, a Marriott representative informed me that there nothing can be done. While I have logged many rooms over the last 12 years for business with not one issue ever, PLEASE NOTE! If you have a reservation at this hotel, call before you leave home and have them confirm that you and your grandchildren will be welcome after your 13 hour drive. Apparently, the property is under no obligation to contact you if there is a computer glitch with your credit card.

At check-in, the front desk clerk was on a lengthy phone call when I walked in. No problem, my timing was bad. The bad part was, the manager was sitting at his desk talking to another employee for the entire 5 minutes I stood there waiting. He looked up at me a few times, but didn't get off hit butt to assist. Either get up and help guests or close your office door. The hotel is sandwiched between two highways, so street noise is heard from rooms front & back. The walls are paper thin - I heard every sneeze, cough, conversion, toilet flush, shower, stomping feet, dropped toilet seat and slammed door. To make matters worse, the walls had banging pipes/mechanical noises behind the toilet. When will hotel architects, builders & owners realize guests want quiet? The bathroom ceiling had black mold. Cleaning crew HINT - look up ! Covid protocols resulted in breakfasts being cancelled. Instead they have some quicky-mart to go food. Budget hotel at a budget price. Management needs a kick in the pants and to perform some cleaning QC inspections.

For business, I have stayed in this property about a dozen times in the last 18 months. The staff is friendly and gracious, and the property is always clean. I have never had an issue with a room. Great property and I look forward to another visit soon.
