Great stay, clean, bug free & nicely appointed king room! The pet stay free policy is fantastic for those who have four leg family members! I hope other pet owners will clean-up after and control their animals. Free breakfast was basic carbs, yogurt & coffee. King bed was very comfortable.

Housekeeping may or may not service your room. You tell them you need room service; they will say okay and still don't service your room. The front desk guy (Dave) lies to cover the fact that much of the staff including himself, is well below any reasonable standard of professionalism and does not accept responsibility, but instead, makes the customer wrong by flipping anything you say back onto you, as a liar or that it is your responsibility to clean your own room. One lady is fairly good, but half cleans. I actually had to clean the glass cooktop because it was crusted with food spills prior to ever using it. The hotel has roaches but at a glance it looks nice and comfortable. The staff acts nice until you have a request or encounter staff that did not do their job.

Thank you for staying with us and taking time to comment on your recent stay. Housekeeping service does vary based on length of stay and requests. I do know our staff should clean properly and staff should respond properly when comments are made or assistance is needed. As a guest you deserve better and we clearly failed you. When they fail, I fail, so I do apologize for that. May I ask for some assistance? If I do not know when you were here, what room you were in, or what the name was on the reservation it will be difficutl for me to find out what happened. i assure you I will speak to David and the others when I know more. I trusted the good reviews about this place and booked the reservation, but I regret it. I actually ended up canceling and booking somewhere else because it was that bad. Firstly, the front desk was very rude and led us to believe we would not have a room despite our reservation. Secondly, the surroundings were dirty and the people loitering made us feel unsafe. Lastly, and the nail in the coffin, once we finally were able to see a room, the room, bathroom, and hallways were extremely dirty! And despite being advertised there was NO kitchenette. It seems this place has gone downhill over the years. Please do not book here.

The rooms here have always been clean. this is the best hotel you can get without wasting too much money on fancy hotels with horrible service. The people who work here are always nice and friendly! this is my second time staying here! i love the experience and the welcoming staff at this hotel! highly recommend!

We spent 4 nights here on our vacation and were extremely happy with our stay! The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Ron was especially great in making sure we were well accommodated. We will definitely stay here again!

Our trip was saved by Ron!!!!!!!! - very noisy neighbors that woke our infant were stopped by him. Very accommodating and personable. Will be staying again. Rooms very clean and comfy. THANK YOU RON <3 my husband LOVED the waffle maker at breakfast and they even let us take it up to our room so we could eat together while I fed our baby. (I've legitimately never had a hotel allow me to take breakfast food up to the room so this was a godsend)

My sister and I spent a quick trip to Florida to visit our cousin in Lynn Haven FL, this was the only motel available so we took the chance, our first mistake. This motel is a place that needs a renovation so bad. It was filled with construction workers, who were drinking in the parking lot by their vehicles. The pool is a joke, no sitting areas. The benches by the doors were filled with smokers all the time. Our toilet seat was broken, (um housekeeping did not see it when they cleaned before us) and our floor was sticky. The bathroom is so tiny it has a toilet, and a tub, that's it. No place to hang anything, the sink is outside the bathroom, and again you can't even hang a hand towel up. The soap they provide, is like a "lava" soap, which sounds right as most of the customers are construction people. When we had the toilet seat fixed, we flushed the toilet and BLACK water came into the toilet, makes you feel good hey? The "free" breakfast area is horrible, the coffee was like disgusting, my sister had to go to McDonalds every morning. The only selection of fruit was a banana. If you absolutely have to stay in this crappy place, I will advise you to get a room on the third floor, as the ceilings are paper thin and you hear everything from above. And again, I did not feel safe at all.…

When I was notified of your review with the very alarming title I immediately had to see what could have happened on property to make it unsafe. We do not want anyone to have such an uncomfortable stay that is alarmingly different from our usual experience. Wow! Probably one of the nicest Red Roof that I’ve ever stayed in! Great and amazing customer service! I arrived to check in about 30 minutes early and was able to check in with no problems! Pet friendly rooms and you couldn’t even tell because it’s so clean!

We loved it, rooms are emaculently clean, we had a pet friendly room and it did NOT smell like pets, had a really good smell, fridge, microwave, coffee pot all very clean and work great, the one thing i loved is that when we got there, the room was at a perfect temp., price was GREAT, love that Krystals is only few short blocks from there lol, which was very good also, short drive to beach, gave housekeeping lady a 10 dollar tip for a one night stay because she deserved it for keeping room so clean, great job to you, so please keep in mind how hard housekeepers work and try to find it in your heart to leave them a tip, 😊😊 Red Roof Inn in Panama City is the only hotel we will stay at when we do get to go back, and hopefully get to stay longer, thank you very much to ALL staff members 😊😊🥰🥰⚘⚘…
