One of America’s most iconic resorts, The Breakers is an Italian Renaissance-style hotel situated on 140 acres of oceanfront property on the island of Palm Beach, Florida. For an intimate, exceptionally customized experience, The Breakers’ elegant Flagler Club is an exclusive, 21-room boutique hotel nestled atop the resort. Nestled within The Breakers on two restricted floors, it’s inarguably our most luxurious and exclusive offering. Ten restaurants range from casual beachfront to stylishly sophisticated, while a world-class private beach club hosts four pools, six whirlpool spas, 25 poolside bungalows and a variety of on-site watersports. In addition, there are two 18-hole golf courses, 10 Har-Tru tennis courts, a world-class indoor/outdoor spa, an oceanfront fitness center and 13 boutiques. There is also never a resort fee.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.

A place to visit, tour and enjoy its delicious gastronomy. The rooms have amenities of all kinds, the bathroom offers all the pleasantries you need in beach hotel. The comfort of having so many useful details: in my room they even put floss or individual makeup remover wipes. Excellent. Beach bag... welcome chocolates. Fantastic for women, we need those attentions. I'd come back just for that! To improve: the staff is friendly but everyone is too young, lacks experience when it comes to providing solutions. I wish there were more mature staff. The beach is fine but it's a little small.

I had some experience dealing with this hotel as a returning guest so this stay was significantly better than my previous July visit. They gave good pre-arrival suggestions as to celebrating our anniversary at the hotel and arranged us good tables including at the Seafood Bar which normally does not take reservations. We had excellent service at that dinner. We had a nice fruit and cheese platter and chocolates on arrival and rose pedals in the bedroom at night. Our deluxe suite 3192 had better ocean views than the 2091 or 2093 suite I had last time and it was closer to the pools. The bathroom in the suite is excellent and I liked that the shower controls were away from the shower head. I had to call in maintenance because the AC at night keeps shifting to automatic rather than keep the room at a cool constant temperature. This is a very annoying money-saving trend in hotels and they shouldn't do it in suites that are costing over $2,000 a night. Breakfast buffet in the Circle room is magnificent in every respect. As an Amex FHR amenity, it's really great. I enjoyed the early check-in at noon and the late checkout. We ate at several outlets here and enjoyed all of them; some of the F&B prices are high but the quality is excellent and the portions are really for 2 anyway, so if you are sharing the prices are fine. Only thing I don't really like here is the gym. It was crowded and I couldn't get a treadmill and some of them did not even work. This place needs a larger gym. The ocean was closed the whole weekend due to high rip tides but that's not the hotel's fault. It does mean that if you come to Palm Beach, you might not get the ocean, but the rest of the place is great and I really like flying in and out of the local airport. Most important to me was that although this is a large hotel, if the concierge staff wants to look after you and if you let them know you want them to, they can do a good job of making your stay go great.

Excellent last minute stay at the Breakers Palm Beach! We booked the day before we arrived through American Express. The American Express benefits included a free room upgrade, free breakfast, $100 credit for food & beverage and a 4 PM late checkout. Amazing!
Our room was comfortable with plenty of closet space. The bed is comfortable (on the firm side) with multiple blankets and comforters.
The bathroom was fully stocked with mouth wash, dental floss, antibacterial and even a natural sponge in the shower. I have always loved the television in the bathroom mirror that I can watch while I get ready.
There are 3 pools on the property and we visited 2 restaurants which were good, but the Circle for breakfast was my favorite! The Circle is just beautiful and the breakfast buffet had so many options it almost felt like a weekend brunch.
The Tesla house cars were an added bonus! We used the house car to go to dinner. We were asked to speak with the valet and the car arrived within minutes. The driver handed us a card with the phone number to call when we were ready to be picked up. The car arrived minutes after we called.

I expected so much more after years of seeing and reading about The Breakers. The property is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service is poor which is absolutely inexcusable at this price point. The hotel appears to cater to conferences and corporate events and those significantly detract from the experience of those visiting on holiday. We were there for four nights and during that time there were at least three multi day conferences fully occupying nearly all public spaces. Think: courtyards, lobbies and hallways all being used for business meetings or events. No thank you.
The service is no where near five star. The rooms here start at $2000 a night in season. That should come with impeccable service and attention to detail. Instead, you are one of hundreds on premises with zero personalized attention, and little attention at that. We were never once remembered and addressed by name, there’s no one at the entrance to welcome you back to the hotel or ask how your excursions were, you queue up at the front desk for service, the concierge was not helpful in making reservations for our group, there are cots and old room service trays lining the halls, housekeeping is unreliable and when we asked for a paper at breakfast we were told where they could be purchased across the property. We reached out a day before our departure asking for help with our bags at a time the next day and for breastmilk stored in their freezer to be available at checkout. Thirty minutes past that time the next day I had to reach out to see if someone was coming to help with our bags and our breast milk having been “lost” nearly caused us to miss our flight.
This hotel is simply too large to provide any personalized service or attention to detail. Come here for a drink and to see the beautiful pools and historic property, but stay elsewhere.

My wife and I returned to The Breakers for another anniversary celebration, once again choosing to stay in The Flagler Club. In a word, it was “fantastic.” The recent room renovations are classy and efficient, making the standard room feel bigger while also still feeling like a true luxury space. The new beds are the best we have ever slept in at a hotel.
We made use of the concierge team before the trip for all of our reservations, and they were always responsive and on top of all the details. Anytime they promised something would be done, it was. We also interfaced with them quite a bit during our stay, and they were just as impressive in person. Bernard, Kevin, Jonathan, Brook, and Zac were always pleasant and ready for anything we asked of them.
The included breakfast every morning is a huge perk and may be the part of the trip I miss the most. They had a chef ready to make custom waffles, crepes, etc… while also having fresh pastries, fresh squeezed juices, and anything else we might have needed on hand. We both looked forward to it each morning, and it was excellent all four days.
We used the house car, now an EV Maybach, for transportation to various places around town, and they were always responsive, prompt and pleasant. Matt, Joel, and Eddie were our drivers, and we have nothing but positive things to say about all three. Much like the concierge team, they were easy to talk to and always eager to help in any way they could. We rarely waited anywhere for them to arrive. It was like they would magically appear after we requested a ride.
We visited Ocean House three times during our stay, and, Jahmal, who is a bartender on some days and a server on others, may be the most naturally joyous person we have ever met. When he smiles, he does so with his entire body. He is fantastic. Candice, whom we had met on our previous stay when she worked at HMF, also works at Ocean House now and is the perfect complement to Jahmal.
It is rare we stay in a property and don’t have something to complain about, even if we don’t voice it. That was not the case here. There was not one thing we wish had been different other than the trip not going by as quickly as it did! We can’t wait to return one day!

Well, I must say, this establishment was quite the pleasant surprise. One doesn't often encounter such a harmonious blend of modern convenience and old-world charm. The staff were exceedingly accommodating, the facilities were in tip-top shape, and the overall atmosphere was most agreeable. I dare say it's the sort of place that makes one feel rather grand without b

Unfortunately if you actually stay on the property during the holidays like I did it is NOT a 5 star experience. They give no preference to their guests that stay on property and it has lost all of the “magic” of the holidays. We waited over an hour to be seated in a restaurant. The whole reason to stay on property was to accommodate my parents with limited mobility and not have to leave the hotel. When we were seated finally the service was subpar. We had to return undercooked meat 3 times. Well done meat is usually easy to accommodate. It does appear they accommodate instagram influencers who show up to take photos and not order food and share a single drink.
We received no extra attention from being a guest. Now I know that everyone stays at a much less expensive hotel in town and just visits the hotel and restaurants. At $1800 a night you would think you would be treated so much better. They could not even accommodate adjoining rooms. I assumed the hotel was full only to learn there were empty rooms everywhere.
Now that the magic is lost we will definitely not be returning again.

It’s very hard to give the Breakers 2 stars. But after just spending a week at the Waldorf in Cancun it’s sadly very fitting.
I understand that it’s Mexico, but every single employee there greets you with a huge genuine smile every time. From the gardener, to the people washing floors at 5am. They stop what they are doing and smile and say good morning etc. in a very kind no forced way.
ANYONE at the Breakers unless their job is tip related only looks at you or speaks to you if spoken too.
Especially the common areas cleaning crews. They act irritated that they have to work. Every am I used the bathroom near the shops. Not once did the attendants in the bathrooms acknowledge me. In fact the cleaning mafia congregate at the cleaning supply closet outside the men’s room and are annoyed that they have to stop speaking their native language and move to the side to let someone in and out of the bathroom.
Finally I realize that the property is pristine and needs upkeep. But between the gas leaf blowers and the mower of the front lawn it’s impossible to sit and enjoy the am.
Why would you mow the green on the 18th holes( same piece of equipment ) at 6:30 am when the earliest that a golfer would get there is 9am, but at 8 am mow the lawn where people are trying to enjoy the serenity of the am. Just absurd. 5 mornings in a row, exact same thing

I had the worst stay at this hotel and let me preference by saying I have stayed here before and the quality was amazing first go around. This trip was horrendous. I came here for a vacation and was not made aware that because a wedding was being held here during the same time, that the guests come second to a wedding. I brought my tripod and small digital camera to take a few pictures of myself, nothing that should be out of the ordinary. I was taking pictures by their spa in front of a hedge..a security guard came up to me saying I was not allowed to be taking photos on a “professional” camera with a tripod and was told to get manager approval..I was floored. I went to the front desk and some ignorant front desk clerk told me that I was only allowed to take pictures on my iPhone and not a small digital camera. He was useless and his reasoning made absolutely no sense, I should’ve got his name to honestly report him. I asked him if I could speak to someone else and his response was they will just tell you the same thing..I called customer service from my room. Bri the assistant manager “assisted” me. She told me that there is an “exclusive wedding” at the hotel so getting approval to take pictures would be difficult…I am again floored. My response was how in the world does a wedding give merit over another paying guest taking pictures of herself where no wedding is to be found at the time of said pictures being taken, that’s where my frustration was. This hotel is putting propriety of a wedding that hasn’t even happened yet, which mind you I was no where near a wedding and I saw not one wedding guest outside, it has been raining all day. She asked what I was taking photos of, the property? I said no, I was taking photos of myself in front of a hedge near the spa outside..even if I was taking photos remotely near someone’s wedding why is that anyone’s business but my own? Won’t other guests have their iPhones taking photos of themselves and maybe even the wedding? So why am I being singled out for having a small digital camera and a tripod, can someone please tell me the difference because make it make sense, it doesn’t. If I knew this would be a concern, there’s no way I would’ve wasted my money staying at this hotel. The hotel guests should be made aware that no digital camera tripod photos can be taken at this hotel if there is a wedding, point blank period. She asked how long I would be staying at the hotel, I said 3 days, she said that this wedding was taking place the next day and that I would not be allowed any photos at all the day of, I didn’t feel the need to continue planning out time slots of when I could take photos the next day after the wedding merely because now this ordeal has ruined my entire stay here. She did give me a merely 2 hour time slot to get my tripod and small digital camera out to take maybe 10 pictures of myself the day before the wedding and that she would have to make the entire staff aware of this which in turn caused me embarrassment.

Horrible experience! I booked 2 rooms through Amex centurion and I was supposed to get amenities such as a room upgrade and a an early check-in, sadly they refused to give me any of those benefits! Not only that, one of the rooms was not even ready until 6 pm!

I think it might be called Sea Glass Body Products, but as mentioned above, they sell many of their luxurious products in the gift shop. I hope they have it. Good Luck!

I personally would go to the nearby Publix . It is a favorite go to supermarket for me anywhere I travel in Florida. The staff is always very cheery & helpful. Usually can cover any basic grocery, health & grooming needs that may not be available at the hotel.
