This was my first time staying here and it was a beautiful property with really nice decor. Beach was great and included chairs/umbrellas which was nice. Rooms were quiet and couldn't hear feet above nor noise next to me. Really enjoyed my room with a balcony that had partial ocean view. Just a word of warning if you book a package vacation through a site like Priceline or Expedia. Even though you already paid for the trip (flight/hotel), they will still put a hold on your account for the entire cost of your stay. There was an $1100 hold on my bank account that I was not warned about at check-in that put me into overdraft. I've had hotels put a $200 deposit for incidentals but never anything like this. Why would a hold need to be on the account for a hotel stay that was already paid for? I never got an answer that actually made sense. I would come back only if I booked directly through the hotel but not through a third party booking.

We were given a room on the 2nd floor the fire alarm went off 3 times, the first time for 5 minutes. We threw our clothes on and went to the hall, which was quiet. A call to the operator revealed that they were aware of this malfunction before. I slept in my clothes thru the other 2 alarms. We got a different room for the next 2 nights. The restaurant closed early, said they had no business. Refused to give me ice, told me to go up for the bucket. Elevators very slow.

They are professional with the perfect touch of pride in the Tideline and love of what they do, that it set the tone for my entire trip. Shane on the beach magically shows up right when you want him. Our recent hotel stay was subpar with numerous concerning issues. The overhead light when you walked into our room would not turn off fully and blinked like a strobe light all night long. The coffee maker was broken. The clock was broken and every time I tried to re-set it it would revert back to 12:34 pm. The inside of the mini fridge was gross - it smelled bad and a prior guest's leftover food was in the fridge! Disgusting! The wall of the shower also had not been cleaned and looked like a man's electric razor had been tapped on the tiles as there was a residue of small hairs. We asked to be moved to another room the next morning and were accommodated. Thankfully there were no issues in the new room but none of those s initial issues should have happened! The hotel seemed understaffed and the attitude of staff members we spoke to was apathetic, not what you would expect from a hotel that is promoting itself as high end. There is a valet and small parking lot and you are required to use and pay for the valet even though the cars are parked directly in front of the hotel which is annoying. At times the valet was no where to be found so we just got the car ourselves since the keys were inside. The final straw was when we returned home to discover that credits that were offered to us for the numerous issues we experienced were not applied to our credit card. I called 4 times and everyone I spoke to seemed clueless and not remotely interested in resolving the issue, they just gave me the run around. Thankfully American Express took care of the refund for us. All in all, the beach front location of this hotel is it's biggest selling point, everything else needs a serious overhaul.

Paid the extra rate for the ocean view and they checked us into a room with a view of the neighboring building with absolutely no ocean view. We attempted to have it immediately corrected and were told the room we reserved was not available, and they would change us first thing the following morning. After seeing them check in about 50 new guests throughout the morning we were forced to continue to remind them of what we paid for. It was nearly 5 PM before they corrected our room and they sent us on a wild goose chase to get to our room. No apologies at all. Terrible room setup no hand soap for bathroom, very small bathroom with no storage or counter space. Breakfast buffet was cereal, toast, melons cut up and fake eggs all for the low price of $60 per person. A vodka cranberry cocktail was $24! Nothing about this place was luxurious. It’s a super 8 charging for luxury accommodations. I would not recommend under any circumstances.

I came here for a milestone birthday celebration. When I arrived, the valet person was on their phones and didn't care much to help. When I got to my room, everything was very cute, "updated", until I noticed that there were still screw holes not patched up, coffee make didn't work, refrigerator didn't work and was moldy. That wasn't even the worst part. I noticed garbage in the drawer and here it comes, there was like shaved hair on the shower walls. Not sure how housekeeping missed that, but it grossed me out. Went downstairs to show pictures but unfortunately no room were available to switch too. The "manager" was supposed to get back to me but he/she never did. I had to repeatedly ask for help. When I finally did get help, I was replaced with another nonfunctioning coffee maker and the mold in the fridge was still there. The only thing I got offered was that I will not be charged a resort fee of like $50. I had 4 rooms booked and some of us just chalked it up to "whatever". The gym was no better. I was very excited to see brand new Peloton bikes but there were clip on only. When I asked for the shoes, they were still waiting for them to arrive. Not sure how that happens as it comes in a bundle. There were not mats to use, so you had to use towels for mats. It was definitely run down but there remodel is still needs work. Housekeeping and the manager gets in at 9am and ends like at 6 pm. Needless to say I will NOT coming back. There is a few redeeming qualities, such as it's ON THE BEACH and the food and service at the restaurant was amazing. If they want to make more money. they should invest in some covered cabana beds like their next door neighbor, the Four Seasons. Usually I don't write reviews, good or bad but to me this was really bad as the Manager did not reach out to me at all and a credit for resort fees is a joke.

The worst experience ever! I booked my stay at the Tideline Palm Beach in December 2024. Our booking was for Feb 28 - March 2, 2025. Without warning, Tideline charged me half of the total cost ($1200) on December 20th, 2024. Our booking through Travelocity was supposed to be one where we would pay the total hotel stay amount upon arrival/departure. I called Travelocity to get the $1200 back but to no avail. Despite not getting our money returned, we decided to let it go. At 3:40pm, 20 minutes before check-in on Friday, February 28th, we received a voicemail message from a representative of the hotel stating that they were sold out and that we should call Expedia!!! Sold out!!! And we’re learning this right before check-in?!!! After hearing the message I called the hotel and spoke to a supervisor named Carress. She seemed nonplussed and extremely officious after hearing our dilemma. After an 8 minute hold, Carress stated that the AC in our room was broken and that there were no other rooms available. Her solution was to send us across the street to the Fairfield Inn. I told her that her representative left a message stating they were overbooked and asked why she was now claiming that our reservation was cancelled due to a broken AC. She never responded to that question. I then told her we wouldn’t mind staying in the room without AC, since the weather was pretty mild, and her response was to continue with the broken AC story. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TIDELINE!

I am only reviewing the spa. Tideline recently completed a multi million dollar renovation or so I thought. Although a lighter palate, I did not notice a big difference in the lobby. Apparantly NOTHING was done to spa or locker rooms. The lockers do not have locks and I was told to leave my belongings at my own risk, so I brought my purse and valuables into the massage room. The spa is untouched and the locker rooms are dirty, dated and have no amenities. Not even a hair dryer. The showers are original with mineral build up and grit on floors. Wear shoes! When I asked the spa desk if there was a hair dryer after showering following a massage the reply was "we are working on it" Not sure what is required to purchase a $20 hair dryer. So I left with wet hair. I am a local, born and raised in Palm Beach and thought I would try the new and improved Tideline out. I won't be back anytime soon. The Spa services were discounted and rightly so. Masseuse was fine but the environs were terrible.

They have sort of "renovated" the hotel, but they need to renovate the service, starting with the rude man at the front desk, his name was Robert. The sushi is never open, the spa had very low availability due to low staffing, and the beach is a wreck -- dirty towels everywhere, chairs out of place, empty cups, no sign of service. It is more of an interstate motel feel than a luxury beach resort. This hotel used to be a Relais Chateaux when it was the Omphoy but this Robert guy has been there for years scaring away guests and staff. We usually remember the names of staff who are exceptional but this guy is so fake-hospitality on the surface but actually so cold and rude we had to remember his name. Time to renovate the people and service.
