This Marriott has done an awesome job with staffing they are courteous, professional and they always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. The front desk manager tries her best to make suggestions and even help if you need it. The Marriott manager has done a wonderful job with staffing and well kept grounds and well kept rooms. This Marriott will always be our Favorite hotel for a short stay staycation and our mini vacation spot.
One more it’s convenient to have a continental breakfast that is fresh and delicious it’s a nice added touch with a stalked mini fridge with drinks for their guest.
I highly recommend this place.
Thank you all !! We will definitely be back.
Would recommend and will stay here next time in the area
Some things that could be improved:
More towels at the pool. Rack was empty as often as not
Bathroom supplies available for guest pickup. Rooms are getting cleaned every three days, so having to ask at the desk for the clerk to go get shampoo or towels or toilet paper or other supplies seems like a waste of his time
Status recognition: for high level Bonvoy, something more than “an item from the pantry” would be nice. Even if it is just extra bottles of water each day.
Having said that, the place is good, and we’d stay again. Plenty of parking, less than 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants, and friendly staff and guests.

The room I had, a suite, was nice. There was a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a safe in the room. My balcony faced the front parking lot, but was still a nice touch. There is a small business center in the lobby. The room was fairly quiet, but you could hear a little bit through the walls.
Breakfast was pretty good, with an assortment of hot and cold dishes, including some fresh fruit. They offered oat milk, as well.
I had been warned about language problems, so I was prepared to use my limited language skills. The housecleaning staff were helpful, polite, and overall excellent. There were, however, still problems with the staff.
The very first thing you see when you drive across the bridge to the hotel is the Lake Worth "Casino" complex. This surprised me as there are only a very few casinos in the southern part of the state and I had not heard of one near Lake Worth. So, the first thing I asked the lady at reception when I arrived was about the casino smack across the street from the hotel. To my surprise, she had no idea (I note that this did not involve a language issue). When I suggested she ask her supervisor, she laughed off the suggestion and walked away. I found this behavior odd. I note that I later found out from someone else that the Lake Worth Casino complex is no longer a casino, it is a public beach facility.
This small room had stains on the carpet, an old, noisy ventilation system, dirty walls, and smelled of beer and food. The apparatus used to open the window was glued together by its own filth.
The old carpet outside was patched together with duct tape, and the plate of welcoming cookies was empty. When I communicated my concerns to the man at the front desk, he did not reply. I was not even sure whether he spoke English. When my daughter and I returned from dinner, a group of children was screaming in a nearby room.
On the whole, the experience was what you might expect at a truck stop hotel somewhere in the Midwest, not at a resort property on the edge of Palm Beach, one of the wealthiest places in the U.S.
We were so upset that we left and opted for the long drive home rather than staying overnight in such a dirty, dilapidated property, This was despite the fact that we had already paid for the room.
Surely this is not what Marriott wants guests to experience at any of its properties.
