We enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect and the resort a real peaceful oasis. The grounds and pools etc were immaculate, well landscaped, clean and well presented. All staff were very helpful. The beds were comfortable, towels lovely quality and kitchen well equiped. My reason for not awarding 5 stars is that the 2 bed unit allocated by RCI was although clean dated and dark in terms of furnishings.
One of the nicest resorts we have stayed at in Kissimmee and definitely would stay again. Quiet, clean family friendly resort that is located near great shopping, plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and of course Disney. There are multiple pools and hot tubs that are surrounded by beautiful gardens and sitting areas. The staff were so friendly and so helpful, even helping us with our luggage when we got to our unit, anything we needed they provided right away. We had a wonderful stay that was relaxing and made for a great vacation.
Unfortunately we had a very poor check in experience. The front desk manager, Katelyn, was very rude and difficult to deal with. It took an hour to check in because she didnt know what she was doing. Then, we were charged an extra $200 "resort fee" above our weekly fee we had booked for. This hidden fee was an unpleasant surprise, and really not warranted... the amenities are pretty basic. The resort was nicely kept, with lots of gardens etc. Basic amenities... 2 small pools, a few hot tubs, small playground, shuffleboard and a tennis court. There are bbqs around for guest use which is nice. Rooms are decent. We had a 2 bedroom which was pretty spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, utensils etc. The laundry is outside the room and shared, which was odd. Other than our issue with the manager, the rest of the staff was friendly, especially Freddy at the front desk. When we were here, the guests were mostly seniors. They were all lovely, but I would choose a more family oriented place next time, with more to do for kids, without a hidden "resort fee".…
My husband and I have stayed at the Polynesian Isles Resort before and there are several reasons why we have kept coming back. This being our 5th time staying here. While we are most definitely not interested in timeshare, we like the resort. It's got a security gate, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are all two bed, two bath so spacious, there's either in-room or access to free washers and dryers, and a fully equipped kitchen. Home away from home. Pools, gym and activities are a plus and it's a 5 minute drive to a Walmart with a 10 minute drive to Disney Springs. The Hawaiian decor is a nice treat even if we are Florida. One downside for me is the push re timeshare. While they don't say the word, they push to take you to dinner, tickets to parks, "free" whatever. These are dead giveaways and to be honest, I'm just not interested. Even saying no multiple times still doesn't get you off the hook of being asked multiple times during our 2-week stay. If I wanted to discuss something during a meeting, I'd stay at the office. I'm on vacay! But putting that aside, it's still a lovely resort, off Disney property and therefore not the Disney prices. Would still stay here again despite the inconvenience of phone calls. …
really enjoy the stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and neat. There are sufficient appliances in the kitchen for use. The blender didn't work but we soon got the replacement after called the help desk. The service team is very friendly. The location is very convenient. Super Walmart, CVS, Dunkin Donut are all within 1 mile. Less than half hour driving to most theme parks. The only thing that needs to be improved is the unstable WIFI, we have to reconnect to the WIFI almost every half hour.
The hospitality at this place is top notch. The front desk staff are extremely accommodating; the rooms are absolutely large and flawlessly clean. The sofas and beds were extremely comfy. The gentleman at the gated entrance always welcome us with a smile. My only small complaint is that the kitchen knives were dull and jiggly when cutting- a bit dangerous if you are trying to prep a meal in the full-size kitchen.
Had a great time enjoying Disney and the Orlando area. Highly recommend this facility. All the amenities were available, clean and easy to find. This was our third visit to Disney and we stayed at the Polynesian Isles Resort each time. Thanks for the memories!
Everything was perfect, I highly recommend this resort for families, it is a perfect apartment with all amenities do you need. the kids enjoyed much the stay, the location its perfect, near malls, supermarkets ans still a quiet place with almost none traffic. its worth the money!!!
This place was wonderful. We had to make an exchange as our owner unit was not available. The Polynesian Isles was a fabulous alternative. The location is amazing, being just a few minutes from Old Town and Fun Spot. The staff was amazing. We got a call a few days before arrival to ensure we were all ready to go. Susanna Franketti was awesome, sending directions to both the resort as well as Publix and the nearest Walmart. The room was very spacious, even though we are used to a three bedroom, the two bedroom we got was huge, with ample space to host Christmas gathering with our extended family who were also visiting. The patio/porch was also very large spanning the entire apartment so that you could enter from both bedroom and living area. an upgrade from our other unit which only allowed access from the master. We were invited to go to a couple of member events however, were not harrassed to attend as we have been in the past at other resorts. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it.…
Polynesian isles is a beautiful condo without all the water slides and pool waterfalls. Great place to relax and you can’t beat the location. Hidden and quiet. The rooms are very nice, updated and have everything you need. The staff is outstanding. Everyone is happy to see you and make you feel very welcome.
