Stayed with my family for 2 nights from a long drive from Georgia and wanted to rest than visit Old Town before heading home to Miami. Experience was pleasant, hotel is being upgraded which is a plus. Our room was nice 2 queen beds room was spacious enough and pleasant. Front desk was nice "Marlena was so sweet and welcoming no issues. Grounds guy "Hector was so helpful he stopped working just to help us find our room and helped push the luggage cart for us because I was holding my sons and my wife is pregnant he spoke spanish which was a plus for my wife who doesn't speak english. Housekeeping gave us extra towels when we asked and additional soap. Overall this hotel is perfect for an enjoyable quick stay and its literally right across from Old Town and Fun Spot. Can't wait to see it upgraded and completed and will definitely stay again in future and bring my dogs along now that I know this hotel is pet friendly. *One suggestion I do have is maybe creating a little dog park in rear, I noticed an unused tennis area that would make a nice little pet spot for a pet friendly hotel. Just a suggestion.

I've passed by this place dozens of times going to an overly expensive condo down 192. But this trip my daughter was bringing her Boston Terrier puppy along and we needed a pet friendly place. Banyan is one of the highest rated pet friendly hotels in the area. Check in and check out were super easy. The rooms were clean and newly remodeled with a full size fridge, microwave, and hair dryer. No iron or ironing board. Many rooms are undergoing remodeling and the grounds is being upgraded as well. The price was right through Priceline. Times are weird with Covid going on, but I felt safe at Banyan. We'll be heading back with our dog in the future.

For the low price it is a good hotel. My friend and I stayed for 10 days in this hotel and ended up making friends with the night receptionist, who was always very kind and with the man who supplies the breakfast table. The room was never cleaned during this period and the bed was made only once. Towels were rarely changed. The breakfast is simple, but tasty, American standard.

Pleasantly surprised...even though we called early and paid for early check in it took a while to find out if our room was ready. Once we got to our room it was clean and beds were comfy. Has microwave and fridge. Great for folks staying for a week. Free breakfast til 10. Convenient to Disney Springs and Epcot. Pool was inviting and clean.

For $65 a night this is an excellent hotel. Marlene and Cynthia were wonderful, a very nice and helpful front desk team! Our one gripe as a family of 4 was the constant dust or dirt on the room floors. The rooms are really nice, nicer than expected and smell good. Just don't walk barefoot because your kids feet will be black! Hey, for the price, it was much better overall than we anticipated! Extremely comfortable beds too!!! And a above average breakfast spread!

The room itself was pretty nice, minus some obviously overlooked details like the inability to close the bathroom door, the poor television quality, and the fact that the door for the hotel room was hard to close and really worn down. The place was a little scary at night, there were no lights to light up the elevators and the walk to your room- luckily I was with my boyfriend but if I was by myself I don’t think I would have stayed. The continental breakfast was a very odd experience, so we chose to eat out for the rest of our stay. Overall- if you don’t mind staying in your room the whole time and aren’t looking for fancy amenities it’s alright.

This place is a total scam. I booked a room on February 15, 2020 through Expedia. We arrived at the hotel to discover a huge lineup at the lobby – 2 people were working the desk, but only 1 was checking people in. The other person was shuffling through paperwork at a glacial pace instead of helping out - he also 10 minutes complaining about work with a maintenance guy. Several other people were turned away despite legitimate bookings. Anyone else had to wait while the front desk clerk radio’d another employee to check which rooms were clean and/or occupied. In some cases, people were double booked with keys to the same room. While people were being checked in, the front desk clerk would also be dealing with incoming calls and guest requests. I have never seen such incompetence in my life at a hotel desk. When we made it to desk, the lady said that all bookings made within the last five hours couldn't be confirmed and there was no room for us. More than half the line since we arrived walked away angry, with no room that they had booked and prepaid. Thanks to this fraudulent confirmed reservation, we were unable to find another room and had to sleep in our rental car before our flight the following day. Stay away from here - even if you get a room, it seems evident that they will likely double book someone else in your room, it won't be clean, or you'll be missing things in the room. Absolutely horrible experience.

I chose this place because it was inexpensive and seemed (emphasis on seemed) like a decent place to stay while in and out of Orlando. We got to the lobby and it’s a disorganized mess, a line forming, people being overbooked (we weren’t, but the woman next to us walked in on someone else in the room she was supposed to stay in.) The elevator smelled like vomit and was disgusting and dirty. The property is a dump and felt unsafe, especially when walking to the back rooms at night. It looks like they tried to renovate by painting over everything that was old in an attempt to make it look new. The bedsheet had little black hairs (eyelashes??? Pubes???) all over it. The shower had hair in it, and the three shower knobs took forever to figure out to use. The towels were stained. The first night we got no sleep at all, the walls are paper thin-you would’ve thought the people outside talking and partying were in the room right there with you, which feels even weirder due to the fact that there isn’t a deadbolt on the door. The floor felt sandy and gross, and shoes are a must at all times. My family and I had three nights booked, but left after the first night to go to another hotel.
