Horrible stay at this location. The owner of the condo "Sylvia" charged our group $250 dollars for changing the thermostat. The Windsor Hills claims no responsibility because it's through private home owners and that they can basically do whatever they want. Apparently it's against the rules to change the temperature or put it on hold past the schedule they set it to. They also said we tampered with the pool to change the heat, and that it's behind some lockbox that was either left open for us to use or not properly noticed for their desires to keep it a certain temp. Sorry for using the facilities we paid for, I guess we shouldn't use the chairs or the silverware either. On top of all this, the condo itself was crappy. The beds were hard as rocks, I woke up sore every morning. The ceiling fans squeaked all night while we tried to get cool (but don't change the temp!), and the garage was really a mess with a broken air hockey table and everything left unplugged for us to figure out how to get them turned on again. You can only create 2 bags of trash per day for the outside storage, and if you have more you have to walk it a mile to the nearest compactor. The list goes on and on. You can do better than this. Don't trust a place that won't go to bat for you when you're getting screwed by a private vigilante person who is squeezing you for dollars on top of your high rental prices. Worst part of our trip was staying at this third world hell hole.…

It says "we are focused upon becoming the number one resort..." - they have a very very long way upon them. Very unfriendly and unflexible staff. Everything is geared to meet the interests of the owners. Customer service? None at all. The welcome booklet contains no information usable to the customer, instead you find 9 pages of rules. The house we rented, house number 2636 was ok, but not very clean. Regarding all the rules that are additionally placed everywhere in the house, one would expect a immaculate clean house. Sadly it was quite the opposite in many rooms, especially these ones for the kids. The baby fence at the pool was obsolete because of the holes. Just after booking we got the information that pool heating and grill are avalaible at enormous extra costs. A plus was a really fully equipped kitchen, the many rooms and the proximity to the Disney theme parks. The check-in process was another deficit. First we were not on the check-in list which made the check-in quite difficult. Secondly the door code was not working because the owner has forgotten to activate it. All in all we would not recommend the ressort and we definitly won't come again.…

This is a wonderful resort. It is clean and very private and very safe. The guards at the gate are very friendly. Easy check in process. The pool and the splash pad and water slides are phenomenal for kids. My granddaughter loved them. If you’re wanting to go to Disney but can’t afford the million dollars it costs to stay at a Disney resort, this is your place. You are just a few minutes from all the action.

I stayed at one the houses here with a few friends for a nice weekend. We spent over a grand and had an absolute horrible experience. After being told we had to add every single vehicle that was coming and going from the home we rented, we decided to have people just be dropped off. NOPE. Security wouldn't even allow our guests to be dropped off. They were nasty and rude to us. Two of them even made disgusting rude comments about my appearance. I will never come back to this mess again. Oh the nail in the coffin, the next door neighbor came up through the darkness with a flashlight to spy on my guests who were outside smoking cigarettes and blacks. He then proceeded to stalk and harass us the ENTIRE time we were here. Everytime any of us would step outside (I'm assuming this) he would view his camera that was facing us directly and come outside. We had no peace and the pool we paid to heat wasn't heated. I've don't dozens of stays like this and this was hands down the worst. Not all of security sucked, we had a very nice young man that helped us around 1am wish I had gotten his name.…

We had a 5 bedroom villa with a pool. The villa was well decorated and clean on arrival. The pool was used extensively by our family. Very close to Disney and not to far to Universal Studios. The main fun pool was a great addition to the overall holiday and was well supervised. Would definitely recommend this holiday venue to anyone… such a great place for a family.

Long story short it was the worst $1,200 ever spent. We were staying in a 3 bedroom condos while visiting Disney. We have stayed many times in the Orlando area and all have been fine. Windsor Hills, was the absolute worst. Check in was long and felt unnecessary. We checked into our condo and immediately went to the pool area because my 3 year old couldn't wait. We had shown her pictures online of the splash pad area and she was so excited. We got over there and wow. People EVERYWHERE! You literally couldn't fit another person in that pool if you tried. You would have to climb over and on people to get in or out of the pool. People smoking everywhere, running around, swearing and talking so loud. The splash area was filled with teenagers who had no business playing on children's equipment. They were bumping into the small kids and my daughter even had a construction cone filled with water dumped over her head. The flooring in the splash area was peeling up, making it is huge tripping hazard. I've seen less people than this at a water park. If you actually go online and look at how many condos, townhomes and houses are in Windsor Hills, you would see why 1 pool makes 0 sense. 2-3 pools minimum is necessary to accommodate the amount of people staying on property at any given time. We immediately went back to our condo, packed our stuff and checked out. Never again. Don't believe the good reviews, we did and it cost us a lot of money. This place needs a HUGE refurbishment with 2-4 pools added to it.…

I want to give this a raving review, but I can’t. While the amenities are appealing, the biggest take away from this is that you definitely get what you pay for. Pros: location, security, late hours for the pool, nice big slides and a splash pad. Cons: construction at 6:30am right outside our unit, trash sitting in our trash collector bin as well as on top of other bins and just kind of everywhere. The actual pool itself though, is gross. My husband says it taste like pee. I never got in because the amount of crap floating in it was too much for me. From natural matter (mulch, leaves, shrub clippings, etc) The hair, tissue? and other matter that wasn’t from the elements was obscene and nasty. The unit we stayed in was older, but attempted to be updated with an IKEA kitchen (no complaints there). The decor is great, couch is comfy, lots of space for our family of 5. But the old windows that were falling apart, dirt from previous tenants (aka poor cleaning) a broken refrigerator handle and a freezer that kept getting insanely frozen were obnoxious. The AC would go in to ECO mode while we were gone and we’d come home to a 77° house after a 12 hour day at the parks. If you’re looking to save money, get the ammenities, but have a sort of clean area this is for you. Sort of clean is not okay for me and we will not be back.…

Regrettably this second time visiting was horrible! Our first time only a couple years ago was wonderful so our group was very excited to be coming back... but this time was complete opposite. We won't be coming back ever again. We rented the same size/type of house as last time (6 beds), for one week, its very expensive but we expected to get what we paid for which included a clean private pool and air conditioning. We get there... the pool is green with algae and unusable... no exaggeration here, after a couple days I tried to use it anyway and I regretted it immediately (strong smell sort of similar to rust on my skin and swim clothes), the Air Conditioning on the second floor upstairs wasn't working, which is where the bedrooms are - it hovered around 90 degrees, so unbearable we opened windows in our room one night b/c it was cooler outside than it was inside (in Florida in July!). We made numerous calls and emails to maintenance and management over the first five days but most of which went unanswered; even resorted at one point to asking the front gate guard for advice and talked to the welcome office person. Finally on our second to last day our pool gets cleaned, we can use it finally, and then on the last day we were there the A/C unit gets fixed upstairs - so we can now sleep better before we leave the following morning. This experience was awful. The worst part was when management advised us there was nothing they were willing to do to rectify the inconveniences (no refunds/discounts etc) and that they have enough other customers so they don't need to worry about our satisfaction. We will be back to visit Orlando/Disney, but we won't be staying here again.…

My stay in Unit 403 was ok but would definitely recommend staying at a whole different resort if you can. There are a lot in this area that are more attractive and have more amenities. I booked this resort through Marriott which I regret! Similar to another reviewer who stated that their room was not ready...neither was mine. Overall, the condo was decent but when we got in there, trash was left behind by the previous renter, the shower in the master bathroom was dirty (see pics), and the dishwasher was stuck. I have multiple emails between the management company. When housekeeping came 2 days after my check-in, I spoke with housekeeping and the young lady stated that they had not been notified to come and clean for 2 weeks. I spoke with the valet trash employees to get them to remove it and they said that they had notified Global that the trash was over 25lbs and would not be taken. The employees confirmed what the housekeeper stated and said that the trash had been in there for 2 weeks. The water pressure was not good on the 4th floor and the maintenance man who came to the unit said that's just how it is. After emailing back and forth for nearly a week, Global's Director of Sales, Aileen Perez, was so very rude and disrespectful and kept stating that "It was my problem," and "I don't believe housekeeping would say that," when she called the Thursday before I was due to check out on that Saturday. And with all of that, I emailed Marriott to try and get some of my money returned, they told me that Global had refused to give me any type of refund! For the amount that they charge, I should have gotten half of my money back. I was only there 7 days and it took them 3-4 days to rectify most of the issues. With that said, let the pictures speak for themselves. I will say that if you see the pictures similar to the one's I posted...BEWARE! The property owner and the director, Aileen, will take your money and leave you sitting in trash-literally! I will no longer be dealing with Marriott nor stay at any of their endorsed properties.…
