We arrived an hour early and they were able to find us a room to check in. Everything went smoothly and check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. We sat outside by the pool every day. There were plenty of empty chairs around the pool. We enjoyed the lazy river and the slide. I will say that the lazy river was closed the first three days of our six day stay. The Mexican restaurant was serving breakfast, but the price seemed high so we didn't try it. We used the laundry room as well and everything was fine. Great hotel for the price.

This place is INSANELY horrible. At around 10pm we heard a BLOOD CURDINGLY scream from a woman who someone was trying to murder down the hall. We've had to stay locked in our room for 3 hours and counting while the police have apparently bee called and are doing NOTHING. The attempted-murderer has snuck back into the hotel and on to our floor TWO times since this started. "Security" can barely walk (literally) and is unable to do anything as the 3 people involved SCREAM at the top of their lungs and are causing such a disturbance. I'm here with my 2 kids. It's unsafe as heck. We called front desk and they barely cared. We called 911 and the call wouldn't go through. All the laundry equipment is broken. The pool is cloudy. The lazy river is always closed. There are no luggage carts. It's an UNSAFE and HORRIBLE hotel full of criminals and you should avoid it unless that's what you are.…

Great time, checked all the boxes of what I look for in a hotel! Friendly staff, clean room, per-friendlly, pool, hot tub, waterslide. Room was quiet, the hotel was clean and modern. It was a great value, we will definitely return again. Only downside is the atrached restaurant, Tortilla Rica. I do not recomend going there. If you do go be aware of unasked -for upcharges and they include your tip withoout telling you.

convenient, clean.. river bend water facility was not available. jacuzzi needs more cleaning attention. staff was nice and helpful at late check-in and at check-out.. weather was quite warm and enjoyable.

I was under the impression breakfast was included. I even called the hotel before staying to inquire about the breakfast. I was led to believe it was included. It is not. It is $15 for adults. The lazy River was also not working. This was my other reason for picking the hotel. I agree with the another reviewer. This hotel does quite the bait and switch.

Paid quite a bit more (a weekend night, given) for a "resort style" hotel. Seriously? I paid beforehand on a third party site, stating all expenses paid. Then when I get there $20 "resort fee", $18 parking fee. The lazy lake pool feature was closed, SORRY, not sorry, so tons of people crammed into a very small pool for the size of the hotel. Resort my foot. Also, broken elevator, AND a broken ice machine. I'll never stay in another Red Lion hotel again. To be far, only good thing, room was clean as well as comfortable and clean bed. No other positives to report.

Hello Pierre We are glad that you liked our clean room and comfortable bed Unfortunately the Lazy River sprung a leak and as such we had to close it down to protect our guests . We do not charge a parking fee so that information is not correct. All of our ice machines on property works fine so I would really appreciate if you can tell us which one didn’t work. In regards to the elevator , it says exactly how many people are supposed to be in it, so if you don’t follow the instructions then it would malfunction and get stuck . Just returned from a short weekend visit. Check-in was a breeze, room was very large and clean. Can be a little tricky getting in and out of the parking lot as there is lots of traffic on N Poinciana (might have just been the weekend we were there as lots of guests we spoke to were there for Daytona 500). Parking can be a bit tricky if returning late in the day but we always found a spot. Pool and lazy river were great (and heated!). On site, laundry was an added bonus. Our only complaint (and not the hotels fault) we could hear lots of traffic from the street (cars with loud exhausts speeding up and down). We had a sound machine, and that definitely helped muffle some of the noise. All in all we had a great stay, and will definitely return.

Good location, clean and fresh looking hotel. However we chose this hotel based on the pictures of the poolside. Don’t be fooled, there are ten loungers for this hotel of 400 rooms. Good luck getting one. With a resort fee, one would hope they could acquire just a FEW more. Wont likely be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to a cruise. The rooms was large and clean, beds were ok and shower was good. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the pool and lazy river were heated and there was a life guard on duty. The kids had a blast - tubes are provided large and small for the lazy river and the hot tub work great.
