My husband and I just returned from our second stay at KWBB. It was even better than the first one, which was also awesome! Our room was perfect. The artwork is so colorful throughout the entire home. The breakfast was delish, and Bella and staff could not be better!! Bella makes it feel like home! Can’t wait to be back in February!

We loved our stay at Key West B&B. It is a lovely, antique, clean and well-maintained house in a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do. The house has a nice garden patio which was the perfect spot to enjoy our continental breakfast. It has lovely porches and rocking chairs to watch the world go by, read a book or make your plan for the day over a cup of coffee. Our room was large with two comfortable double beds on the ground floor. The room had it's own air conditioner and heater but we loved the fresh air that the three huge windows provided. Our hosts, Liz and Trish do a terrific job of making everyone feel welcomed and comfortable, offering up restaurant recommendations and helping us map our excursions around town. It was a wonderful experience all around.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay here thanks to Bella and staff! She recommended alternate plans for us when Dry Tortugas wasn't open yet, due to the recent hurricane. She was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. We felt very welcome, as if we were family.

The common areas were comfortable and clean, though warm because the front door is left open during business hours. Key West is hot, but the a/c was extremely powerful and refreshing in our room. The bathrooms have ceiling fans, only. They allowed access to their sister property's pool next door, but we didn't use it. The place was unpretentious and fun, though clean and elegant. They had tasteful and playful halloween and fall decorative touches all around, including candy. Yay!

Breakfast was upscale continental with a different fresh baked bread and local fresh bagels daily, along with granolas, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and fruit. I drink only decaf, due to a caffeine sensitivity, so Bella and Maria had a pot of decaf available everyday, just for me.

It is in a very convenient location, just 2-3 blocks off the port area and a close bike ride to everywhere we went, including Duval. It was not too close, though. It remained peaceful and quiet all week.

I was extremely pleased by the level of friendliness, service, and personal attention from a place that was significantly less expensive than other similar places we considered. So much so that we booked another stay while we were there!

We are frequent travelers who know to expect what we pay for, and we want to feel appreciated for spending our money at an establishment. We got all that, and more. I can say we were extremely satisfied, if not blown away, by the Key West Bed & Breakfast.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for the 5-bubble rating. We are so glad that you both had such a nice time at our property. Your description of Key West Bed & Breakfast is spot on in that it truly evokes a sense of understated elegance but fun at the same time. It is most definitely unpretentious yet no detail (if we can help it) is overlooked with your comfort in mind. It is always so nice when our guests recognize this about us and let us know that we are delivering on our promise to offer the best service that we can. We thank you for your business and feedback and look forward to seeing you both again!

I loved staying at the Key West Bed and Breakfast for two weeks over Christmas and New Years for many reasons. 1. We felt welcomed and well cared for the entire time we were there. 2. The breakfasts were delicious and the routines in place under covid operations were safe, yet special and personal. I was impressed with the genuine care that was put into each recipe and its presentation. 3. Most of the guests staying have been coming for a long time, some even have been coming 15 years. Enjoying the common areas with these long time visitors was relaxing and enjoyable, with everyone at ease in the home and with one another. It felt like people were functioning in a home away from home and I noticed guests treating the place with respect and love and enjoying the company of others in the home. 4.
The attention to cleanliness was meticulous and routines were in place to ensure that we had clean towels before we even needed them....this is a very well run home and Liz, Luce, and Tricia take pride in the home and the guest experience. The beds were so comfortable my daughter never wanted to get out of it! 5. The artwork displayed throughout the home is amazing and inspiring. The home has a personality of its own and is comfortable, especially the places that you can hang out like the front porch rockers, the upstairs porch hammock and swing, and there is even a chair with an ottoman tucked away on a second floor outdoor landing that is good for reading and taking a nap while you listen to the sounds of the outdoors and feel the breeze. 6. One really great thing about the house is the closeness to the action without being too close. We were able to ride bikes or walk everywhere.
I can hardly wait to go back!!

First and foremost, being the times we are in, I felt very safe and the cleaning measures are outstanding! Except other than wearing masks in public areas, you don’t notice it as you’re just “home”. Being from South Florida, I travel to Key West often and previously had bounced around from many different BnB’s, many of which have 5 star ratings. However, I have now found my forever home. The vibe, energy, decor, service, food, and clear love of their guests make this place stand out. You are immediately treated as family. Guests always come first with this crew. The rooms are all unique, provide many options, and have fantastic charm. I’ve stayed in all of them. Recently, I began staying in the second floor rooms that utilize a shared bath. The rates are much lower. At first I was skeptical, but there are two huge bathrooms literally right across from your room. Closer to me than my master bath at home! And they are spotlessly clean, are refreshed constantly, and provide additional towels and Clorox wipes. Always. Even before Covid. And in 3 years I have never had to wait to use one. I now prefer them! Most BnB private room baths tend to run very small. You can spread out in these and take your time. There’s never a wait. A fun thing too is that there’s the “magic” drawer where people leave products they can’t travel with. It’s fun to try different ones! The guests are almost always repeats, and you start seeing familiar faces. Liz feels like an old friend as we sit and chat over coffee on the porch. There’s more but you just need to experience for yourself. Thanks Liz, Trish, and Luce!!!!

We loved everything about this property!! The common spaces and the room were equally comfortable, and cozy. Everything was extremely clean, everywhere you turned someone was cleaning something and keeping busy. Trish and Liz went above and beyond and, treated us like family even though it was our first stay. While there we found that most everyone else was a repeat guest. The house was in perfect walking distance to to all attractions, bars, and restaurants which Trish and Liz had wonderful recommendations for! We normally love to go out for brunch but, could not resist having breakfast here! Every meal was better than the last, not to mention everything was so fresh the juice, fruit, and spreads! Definitely plan on being one of the many repeat guests!!

My wife and I are frequent travelers to Key West. We drive down from Miami 5-8 times a year. It’s our idyllic getaway. We used to stay at a different B&B each time we came just to see what we liked and what we didn’t. But the first time we stayed at Key West B&B several years ago for Lobsterfest, we have permanently found our Key West home.

We arrived at Key West B&B last week on the morning of Wed July 15th and Liz was at the front desk. In typical Liz fashion, she welcomed us “home” and gave us a run down on how things have changed in the midst of COVID-19.

Everyone in the house; from the other guests to the staff was masked up the entire time. We took time to discuss our masks as more of a fashion statement than an inconvenience. If you go in with the right attitude, you will have an amazing time. Don’t let the mask rules scare you from visiting Key West!

The usual buffet breakfast of fruits, yogurts, cereals, bagels and danishes could not be laid out each morning, so Liz takes the time to individually pack everyone’s breakfast in a brown paper bag with your name on it and leave it in the refrigerator for you to grab each morning. She even puts her individual little notes on the outside of the bag.. Its this kind of personal touch that keeps us coming back to the Key West Bed and Breakfast and why we love Liz and Trish so much!

With the bars closed, we did tons of activities out on the water and had reservations each night at various restaurants. We spent a lot of time by the pool (which is located right next door at their sister property, Island City House). The pool was beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and foliage and the pool and grounds was immaculate.

Liz always took the time to make sure we were doing ok and kept us updated on any information she has heard from some of the other locals in regards to any further restrictions that may be mandated by the county due to the pandemic. We returned the favor and let her know what we were seeing and hearing as we were scooting around town, eating and shopping.

We have stayed in just about every room in the house with a private bathroom, but this was our first time in the Blue Room, located on the 2nd floor. It was perfect size for my wife and I with a very large bathroom with tons of space for your toiletries. The room also had its own little balcony where we spent an hour or two each evening before bed having a glass of wine. Total bliss!

We had such an amazing time at Key West B&B, we plan on going back to Key West and staying again in twice more this year…Yes, it was that much fun. Wear your masks, go in with the attitude and knowledge that things indeed are not operating as usual and you will have a great time! Thank you Liz and Trish for everything you do. We cannot wait to be back “home” as soon as we can. You and Key West B&B truly exemplify the “One Human Family” philosophy!

This was our first experience staying at the Key West Bed & Breakfast and it far surpassed our expectations!

The property is so quaint, with all the amenities we needed. There are so many little nooks to sit, read a book or just relax. Trish and Liz sure know how to make guests feel welcome and we felt like we’d known them for years! They made sure our needs were met and Trish provided us with some great local restaurant recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversations over a tasty breakfast and some coffee!

My husband and I stayed on the mostly private third floor which was much quieter than I anticipated being so close to old town. One of the best perks of staying here was the close proximity to everything – the marina is just a couple of blocks away and it’s a 1/2 mile walk to the CVS if you need any supplies or sunscreen. We rented bikes one day and this was the best way to get down to Fort Zachary Taylor beach as it was just over a mile. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful pool next door, which is a sister company to KWBB. It’s the best way to rest your feet after a long day of walking.

Thank you Trish and Liz for making our trip so special!

From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect ! It always feels like we are coming home when we stay here. Liz's attention to detail, fabulous personality and knowledge of the area is one of the reasons we keep coming back. She is always working to make our stay even better then the one before. While COVID precautions have caused the staff to change some of the normal procedures and amenities ( for our safety) they still ensured we had a quality stay ... although full disclosure, we did miss the homemade bread & cake for breakfast but no worries just something to look forward to in 2021. The location is absolutely the best , we parked our car on Tuesday and didn't get back into it until Saturday when it was time to leave ... you can literally walk or bike everywhere. If you are looking for a truly special place to stay in KW this is it!
