Just got back from few nights stay in a junior suite. The room was perfect for us. It had a pull out sofa, with a door that closes off the master bedroom, so there was privacy. perfect location, with a great beach for all. Shallow enough that the kids could play without it being too deep. Always able to find a chair at the beach. Beachside restaurants, which had delicious food. Great place to get-a-away. Only negative, was that we needed a microwave. Only hilton hotel I have stayed at that didn't have one. It is the keys, so dogs are everywhere. Just annoying when families leave their dog in the room and it barks the whole time they are at dinner

Hotel's Favourite
Absolutely loved our stay here! This was my favorite place we stayed in all of the Florida Keys. Our room was in the hammock wing and had a balcony facing the trees so no view but it was facing the water. The property is paradise found. Beautiful paths through the hammock trees and to secret beach areas. The kayaks and SUPs are free for guests to use. It's kind of done on an honor system, first come-first serve, you just keep an eye out for someone bringing one back in and go ask them if they're done with it and then you have it to take out for an hour. The best swimming beach is here too right in front of the hotel so we only used the pool at night. The Tiki Bar at the beach offers drinks and delicious food. There's a ping pong table in front of the Hammock Wing for more fun in the evenings after dinner. We loved every minute of our stay at Bakers Cay!

I just returned from a really nice stay at Baker’s Cay. The place is very clean and I felt safe in and outside. The staff, over all, were great! In particular, these staff truly made my stay a 5 out of 5; Hana-room service- so kind and very helpful! Shelby Cay-1- wonderful service! Jesse bar tender- great suggestions and he knows how to pour! Amanda-concierge—-EVERY suggestion she made was perfect! Restaurants, activities, places to see. She knows the area and the keys well! She even responded to me while on a few days off! However, true success is in the details, and that is where I wish they had done more. My room was very clean and we received good service with regard to cleaning, beds, and towels service. But the coffee, amenity bottles, and soaps were often forgotten. I had to ask several days in a row for replacements. The front desk was GREAT with taking care of me quickly, but the message obviously was not passed on to housekeeping. I finally wrote a nice note to our housekeeper to let them know. Finally, the hotel says they are a non-smoking facility, but they allow people to smoke just about everywhere. I’m ok with outdoor smoking away from others, but twice in small, close spaces people lit up right next to us (we were there first both times!) and staff did not blink an eye. It was easier to just move than put a staff member in an awkward position or risk the wrath of someone if we asked ourself. Perhaps the hotel could remind all guests at checkin of where they can smoke? But people should definitely stay here. The wonderful vibe and atmosphere truly outweigh the few negatives.

My husband I stayed here for 5 nights in July with our two boys, ages 6 and 4. We arrived at dinner time, so after checking in, we went straight to Dry Rocks, one of their restauraunts. We found a cozy couch outside and ordered dinner while the kids ran over to the water and played in the perfectly calm and comfortable water. This was the vibe of the whole stay for the most part. Sunset toasts every night were great. Always chairs to be found, whether at the pool or beach - never felt super crowded. Fun aqua bikes and floats, kayaks in the water etc. Pool games at the kids' pool, very energetic and inclusive pool staff. The bartenders at the Tiki Bar were awesome (get the Princess Largo). All staff were super friendly. We stayed in a standard room with 2 queen beds on the Hammock side of the resort. The room was comfortable and bathroom was a nice size. The light on our balcony didn't work, and when I called guest services, they simply told me it would turn on at 10:30pm (it did not). So once the kids went to sleep, we were kind of stuck inside with them as I didn't want to be outside on the balcony in the dark. As Diamond members, we were bummed not to receieve an upgrade as others seem to have had - but recognize the resort was likely at full capacity. I did email ahead of time to let the staff know that I shipped some wine there (as we were celebrating my son's birthday and our anniversary), and they took care of recieving and storing the package promptly. As a Diamond member, I was also surprised that no one jotted down or acknowledged the birthday (on the actual birthday we walked around with balloons we bought for our son) nor our anniversary (other reviews state that a complimentary bottle was sent to their room, etc), but these are minor things that did not diminish the stay whatsoever. Overall, this is a great resort to stay at with 2 active kiddos where the adults feel like they can somewhat unwind too. Would love to come back!
