Nestled along the beachfront, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is celebrated for its prime location and spacious rooms with stunning ocean views. Guests have highlighted the excellent service, describing staff as attentive and warm. However, some travelers have raised concerns about the value, pointing out steep prices and additional fees. Stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanview suite. The layout is great but it is not well stocked. Nothing in the kitchen, not even mugs for the coffee maker (they supply paper cups) unless you request and then provided with minimal cutlery and dishes. The pull out sofa in the living area is the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel. It's not even suitable for a small child. The 1/2 bath next to the kitchen was a bonus and this isn't mentioned on the website room description? We had major billing issues when we returned home and it was a NIGHTMARE to resolve. I recommend checking your credit card statement BEFORE checking out. We were charged $1,700 in error. I still rate the hotel good to very good because of the location. You are surrounded by high end resorts. The beachfront location is great but beware, the resort fee includes 2 beach loungers but an umbrella is an additional $30 per day plus tip. Lots of good restaurants in the area. We were not impressed by any of the onsite restaurants. The resort is nicely renovated. The balcony on the room is very large. You do hear a lot of street noise on the weekend but you are in a very busy location.

Dear DruxFam, Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your beach getaway! It sounds as though, overall, our stellar location mixed with other memorable qualities to support a great stay for you. We, of course, would have liked your visit to have eclipsed perfection and apologize for those areas where we fell short, especially in the case of the invoice issue you described. Getting things wrong at checkout is exceedingly rare and we’ll dig into what may have happened to build internal awareness in a way that further insulates us from error. We’re hopeful we might have the joy of welcoming you again as we’re sure we can manage that stay in a way that more fully earns your satisfaction. Until then, take care. Sincerely, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

This hotel was without a doubt one of the most outstanding places we have stayed in the Fort Lauderdale Miami area. From the minute we checked in we knew we would be well taken care of! Malieka made our check-in process AP smooth , and was inviting and so helpful with dinner reservations. Our room was spotless and absolutely gorgeous overlooking the ocean. When we got to the pool deck area, it was a jammin party which was super fun but not what we were looking for so we headed to the beach. There our friend Gino set us up with beautiful chairs and for an additional charge an umbrella.. Jovoughn’s service was stellar, we wanted for nothing as he was extremely attentive. When it was time for us to leave the hotel, we were greeted at the door by Nixon , who took great care, and helping us get a ride to the airport and treated us with respect and humility, asking for us to return. This was an absolutely outstanding stay. We cannot wait to go back!

This would have been our eight or ninth time visiting this hotel over the past 10 years. Its location in the heart of the Ft. Lauderdale beach scene, within walking distance to many, many bars and restaurants making it an ideal spot to stay.

As always the staff are so friendly and helpful. From the valets and registration staff to housekeeping and the folks at the pool and ocean. All are willing to offer whatever help is needed.

I see they have added an upscale nightclub on the 24th floor and I am sure it will become a hotspot for the 20 to 30 crowd. We spent almost all of our days at the beach so I can't comment on the new nightclub, but there was always a line of couples dressed to the nines waiting to get in.

It also looks like they are changing the reception area and adding a bar to the first floor. I think that is a good idea as the pool area bar closes very early (7 or 8pm).

The beach area comes with 2 chairs and for $32 you can add an umbrella. Hilton does provide a server who roams the beam area where you can order drinks and lunches.

There are many great places to walk for dinner, lunch or breakfast. Exploring is the key and don't overlook Lauderdale on the Sea about 4 miles north and old Ft. Lauderdale downtown about the same distance inland. Many fine and accessible places for all tastes.

My only issue is petty and personal. As a very long time Diamond member I am used to either getting a bit of a better room or the offer of various upgrades at a discount. Normally we would book an ocean front room or a suite at this hotel, but for whatever reason we booked a regular ocean view room. I did request a Jr. Suite or if possible an ocean front room at an additional daily cost too.

On check in, I did ask if there were any Diamond complimentary upgrades which was denied, I also asked if there were any chances to a paid upgrade. Unfortunately, they too were denied. I get that by the time we checked in, most if not all the rooms were probably booked and unavailable, I guess my frustration was that I should have just booked a higher level of room. My fault, but the first time in over 10 years that I wasn't upgraded. I see from other reviews that upgrades at the this hotel are almost non-existent. Again, I should have just did it myself!

Certainly not a reason to not come here, it is by far the best hotel in the area and well worth it.

Dear Christopher, Thank you, from all of us, for your loyalty to our resort. Guest’s like you mean the world to us and we’re always delighted when we have the opportunity to impress. Your itemization of what you love about our property and our growth was a treat to read. Continue to expect our team to exude memorable hospitality and us finding ways to evolve that we feel will delight our guests. We would have loved to have been more flexible regarding upgrading your room but to your point, vacancy has an impact on our ability to that end. Do accept our apologies and know that we’ll, of course, work to better ensure your satisfaction when you next do us the honor of calling our Hilton your home. Our team eagerly awaits that return coming to pass, hopefully soon! Sincerely, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

My recent stay at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Resort was deeply disappointing and frustrating. From the onset, I encountered a series of issues with the room, including safety concerns like a deadbolt propping the door open and a delay in air conditioning. Despite immediate requests for room changes and promises of prompt housekeeping services, the problems persisted.

Throughout my stay, I spoke to multiple managers who were apologetic but failed to take the necessary action to rectify the mistakes. Despite assurances, basic essentials like vacuuming were repeatedly requested but not fulfilled promptly. Even after emailing hotel management post-stay, the response remained unsatisfactory.

Moreover, there was visible mold in the bathroom in multiple areas, along with unknown debris on the floor, rusty light fixtures and cords, and visible dirt on multiple surfaces, including the bathroom. These cleanliness and maintenance issues only added to the discomfort and dissatisfaction of my stay.

While management offered to refund one night of the two-night stay, it falls short of addressing the numerous issues I encountered. As a previously loyal patron of Hilton hotels, I expect a level of service and cleanliness that was sorely lacking during this stay. The continuous problems made the experience feel unsanitary and dangerous, especially for a single female traveler.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others until these issues are properly addressed. There are many other hotels nearby, and I would urge travelers to consider them for a safer and more enjoyable stay.

The entirety of your feedback will be discussed internally and we’re sorry that post previous discussions we’ve had on the matter, the resolution we offered you for navigating rare lapses ended up being unsatisfactory. BOY WHAT A LET DOWN 👎🏼
Being a Hilton Honors member I had high hopes for this hotel. The only nice part of this hotel was the beachfront location and 3rd party restaurant “S3” on the street level.
We booked this particular trip through a 3rd party app (JetBlue vacations) from the moment we arrived we felt as if they knew we saved money and wanted every dollar back. Telling us our room wouldn’t be ready for hours and pressuring us to upgrade to a room double the price. The only friendly staff here were the few bellhops and restaurant staff (who make money off tips) Anytime we wanted towels or drinks it was like pulling teeth meanwhile others walked up or got service with no issues. Or we were questioned about our room number name as if we were outsiders who snuck in.
Seating at the laughably small icebath of a pool was limited unless you paid for upgraded cabanas or day beds and there was no explanation why some chairs were reserved or how we could reserve chairs ourselves.
During this particular week we stayed there was a work convention for “spark” as well as a photo/video shoot for spirit airlines. Both seemingly took precedence over all hotel guests, with half the pool area closed for hours and elevators dedicated to these groups leaving all guests waiting for elevators upwards of 10min. This was also outside of the exclusive elevator that brought you to the rooftop bar that may as well have been guarded by the secret service the way the bald doorman in all black that had such a god complex shoeing away any curious guests.
The rooms were not very inviting and not very clean either there were stains on the pillowcase and the floors didn’t feel clean.
The bathroom had multiple damages inside it, from stained tiles scratched & chipped tub/ sink, 90% of the wall paper was peeling up, fixtures were loose or previous fallen off and were reinstalled without patching the walls. The room we booked didn’t have a balcony which we knew ahead of time but there was no functioning windows or fan which left the room feeling stale.
Granted this isn’t a 5 star all inclusive but I have gotten better rooms and service from roadside hotels. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel nor will we be returning.
Hopefully this will make at least one group reconsider their decisions

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years but now I think we may have outgrown it. The vibe has definitely changed and they are aiming for a young crowd. You are almost invisible if you are over 35 years old. We had a problem with our room and in fairness the manager Sean went out of his way to help us We are gold honours and as it was Presidents weekend and the hotel was full, we didn’t get the room upgrade we normally do. However Sean gave us the best room he could The prices of food in this hotel are ridiculous. My husband had a can of soft drink on the beach and was charged $15 for it!!!! Breakfast was so so expensive. You used to get a great continental breakfast but now it’s the packages they offer and don’t ask for white bread - they don’t have it!!! It’s amazing how so many young people can afford to stay there!! But that is the demographic they want as they seem to have no problem spending money. The hotel reception area has been refurbished and it is lovely and modern and there is a fantastic rooftop bar which is new. Some things don’t change for the better. The uniforms the female reception staff were wearing looked like nightdresses and when we mentioned it to one lady who had “glammed” hers up by adding trousers and jewellery, she agreed with us. The staff were helpful and we had the best pizza ever in Le Marche where the young guy remembered what coffee we liked and which bagels we wanted for breakfast. On the whole I think all the beach front hotels are grossly overpriced but while people will pay it - they will charge it

This is a lovely option for a Fort Lauderdale beach vacation, especially when traveling with family. The lobby feels a little dated but the one-bedroom suite we stayed in seemed very recently renovated — bright, clean, fresh, comfortable, and luxurious. I appreciated being able to text with the guest services staff so we could request extra blankets and to have the sofa bed set up. (Note that you may also need to request kitchen items like bowls and spoons — the kitchenettes are not automatically stocked with these things, but you can easily get them on request.) The pool was very nice and quite large compared to some other hotels in the area, although being on the 6th floor deck it was very, very windy at times. We were always able to get a pool or beach chair, with one exception (but my daughter wanted to build sand castles anyway so we didn’t really need one!). We did not try the restaurants or market, although we did have a couple of drinks at the bar near the pool. One warning: the beautiful gelato popsicles are an eye-watering $12 each! Nearby we greatly enjoyed El Vez (highly recommend an early dinner so you can catch the excellent happy hour deals on drinks and tacos) and Village Cafe.

Finally, a shoutout to the lovely Nixon on the front office team. He made us feel so welcome and cared for, and always took the time for a friendly chat. We will be back!

Recently renovated hotel. The room was nice. White and beige. Beach vibe. Ocean view is one of those angled views. I was in a lower floor so the roof of the building below was especially unattractive but at least one sees a sliver of ocean. Room contained a small kitchenette. Air conditioning was good. WiFi was good - no blips. Bed was not comfortable - too firm. Needs a pillow top. Feather pillows. Adequate nightstand power options. Large in closet safe fits larger laptops. Cheap hangers - could use larger wooden ones for suits and jackets. Toiletries were from Bigelow Chemist - but still screw top and awkward to manage in shower. Water pressure almost too high but good. Towels - my pet peeve! - were scratchy and thin, not fluffy and white (please get better towels and use fabric softener!). There is a small sign placed on tub that tells you why the water is discolored but safe - gross! Don’t drink it. Lighting was also off in bedroom - VERY dim and yellow in color. Housekeeping never changed the sheets in a theee night stay (again, gross! And at $399 a night unacceptable - they didn’t even have a card you could place in the bed requesting linens be changed; I even called and they didn’t change it). Food options on site were okay at best. Cafe was super expensive for coffee and breakfast sandwich ($23!). One of the women working the counter was just plain rude to guests/customers. Valet parking is ONLY parking option - and $60 a night!

“Welcome to the Beach House” - seems to be the new approach at the Hilton Beach Resort Fort Lauderdale - a nice welcoming change to the many upgrades that are evidently ongoing throughout the resort…

This was our 4th visit in past years and overall a pleasing one yet again - great location and standard of accommodation and totally superb welcoming service from the entire team in many ways associated with the nicer Hilton resorts.

We had a Junior King Suite this time and the room was in great condition and perfect size with all you would need - nice view, quiet, great comfy bed, big TVs, great Wi-Fi, fluffy pillows and all the amenities you need coupled with comfy soft luxury towels and a great powerful shower….

The bar and restaurant areas were all super busy over the weekend part of our stay and all seemed to be enjoying themselves hence the popularity….

The beach area and service was superb - umbrellas should be free though for the rates here - cmon Hilton….

The pool area was very welcoming in general however on the weekend they have a DJ on the pool deck from around mid-day - if you expect a quiet relaxing time during the afternoon’s on weekends of lazing by the pool with some quiet background music then you will be in for a surprise - it’s loud and modern to the extent you can’t hear your own AirPods in your ears …….. If loud beep bop, dance music is your taste then your fine…..

Costs are high as expected in all areas for food and drink plus the resort and car parking costs add up - consider this as for stays over a number of days then it won’t be a shock at check out….

Overall an enjoyable stay and we would return again - dodging the loud music though by escaping to the world class beach directly outside the door.

I want to break the stay into many parts

1. First Day 03/31/2023 was a horrid stay, Area rug had stained on it like never cleaned, After a long drive from home to hotel and after dinner opened Sofa Bed and mattress had blood stains all over it, Left over food from previous stay. On top of that had bugs running all over the place soon as opened the sofa. Called front desk at around 10.40PM and around 11PM Ana their housekeeping manager came up and told it is horrid and it is not acceptable but cant do anything at that time and best can be done is a roll in bed. She even killed a few bugs and took pictures. Which i accepted as had to sleep somewhere. She was to inform the management of the issue. Not to mention the dishwasher which was running when ana came and it was so loud that you can hear it from almost 10 rooms away. But as we had dinner in room, dishes were put into the dishwasher as otherwise would have attached more bugs.

2. Next day narrated Dane (Director) the whole story and he didnt do anything. Waited on a room change, which was a paid upgrade till 5PM. Whole day couldnt sit in family room as only sofa in the whole suite had bugs all over it.
3. Next day at checkout upon asking Dane he said best is to took off 100$ from whole stay of $2100.00 and took two days of resort fee of 45$.

I own Hilton hotels and a Diamond member never experienced this kind of indifferent and nonchalant management. In all horrid stay.

Response from Management Team, Other at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort
Responded 5 Apr 2023
Dear 776yogeshk, Thank you for sharing your feedback with our team both on-site and online. As is apparent from almost every review we receive, our team’s attention to cleanliness, conflict resolution, and commitment to guest comfort is second to none. It’s clear that, in your care, lapses may have taken place which is something we’re going to escalate internally to get to the bottom of. Allow us to proactively apologize for any inconvenience caused, to thank you for being a Diamond member, and to ask that you join us again someday soon as we’re certain we can facilitate a memorable stay that’s in line with what the vast majority of our guests enjoy. Until that return comes to pass, take care and please reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding your recent visit. Sincerely, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort
