Not enough space to say how great this place is. While a gay men’s resort, it also has staff that make you feel like part of the family, but a family that happens to run a hotel with a service level to equal any top-notch hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And it’s always so much fun staying here! If you only want to know one thing to convince you this place is special: I’ve met some lifelong friends there, and people often book their next visit while staying not just for the discount if you do that, but because you want to come back as soon as possible. The rooms aren’t anonymous, they’re all different and updated Florida classics or modern but with individual touches. The suites are amazing, multi story and all unique, more like small houses so they’re called “villas” and they really are. The grounds are more like a lush botanical garden with many palm trees, orchids, and bromeliads everywhere you look. Beds are so comfortable you’d almost want to sleep all day. Continental breakfast is included as is an evening wine and cheese social hour and the Saturday BBQ. That is a poolside picnic with grilled food and fresh salads. it’s always a lot of fun, with the owners themselves often right there. Two pools, two hot tubs, lots of areas to enjoy the sun or some shade. Free bike rentals, and a gym to stay fit. If you’re a gay man reading this, no you aren’t in the Wilton Manors gayberhood but it’s a very short ride away, as is the beach, and you won’t find yourself missing out on anything. I’ve stayed at other gay guesthouses here in Florida, and they can be good but this place is unique and I wouldn’t want to stay anyplace else and only do when they’re booked up! In fact, as much as I love the place I’m at at the moment, I’m staying at Pineapple Point just as soon as space allowed me to reserve!

After reading countless 5-star reviews before my trip, I knew that I would have a good time. A good time quickly turned into an AMAZING time. The owners' and staff's care and attention to detail is evident from the moment I pressed the buzzer at the gate to check in. They've thought of every detail to make an absolutely perfect stay. From the beautifully maintained grounds and comfortable rooms, to the impeccable service provided by all of the staff. The daily treats by the pool are delicious (and the frozen chocolate covered pineapple is even served on a Pineapple pick--nice touch!). Daily Happy Hour is a great way to meet the other guests. Everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. The staff would ask if there was anything they could do for me through the day. I initially intended to do other daily activities throughout my trip, but quickly decided that spending the entire day at Pineapple Point was what I wanted to do. I've met great guys that will be lifelong friends and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, play cards, and relax by the pool together. Eagerly looking forward to my next stay. Best vacation I think I've ever had!!

This does live up to its consistently outstanding reviews - most notably the staff who are a real asset to the resort and I understand many of them have been at Pineapple Point for many years. I celebrated my 60th Birthday over our stay and the team organised a cake, in rooms balloons and sang me happy birthday during a very enjoyable nightly happy hour. There were a great mix of guests during our stay - the majority from the USA although some other nationalities including fellow Brits and Canadians. We had one of the older apartments which although very clean and well presented, is beginning to show its age - especially the very compact bathroom. Do follow the owner's example and use the plentiful and free supplies of bug spray when sitting out under all the fantastic, lush, tropical vegetation, especially at dusk. We used the excellent local Uber service to get around to the many fine local restaurants that are recommended by the PP team - no need for a hire car. The two pools and two jacuzzies were very well used and the main pool was a delight to lie in under the stars. Varied continental style breakfast which you prepare yourself in the morning. Coffee, teas and soft drinks available all day for free from either the pool buffet area or the upstairs reception. Would definitely stay again at this resort if visiting the local area.

Pineapple Point is a charming property within walking distance of the main Las Olas Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale where many restaurants and shops are located. The property is well maintained and offers a wide-variety of accommodations. At this gay men's clothing optional resort, the crowd is somewhat older. I found the guests to be friendly and fun. The resort provides tons of amenities like breakfast, cocktails and snacks at happy hour, and on some days an afternoon BBQ, all included in the price. Service is top notch with plenty of friendly staff around to assist with everything you might need. They even include sunscreen and bug spray, bicycles and beach gear, pool/beach towels and nice soaps/shampoos in the bathrooms at no additional cost. You really couldn't find a better resort than this.

I just completed an 8 night stay at Pineapple Point Guest House and had a great visit. All the rooms are uniquely furnished and well maintained with high quality beds, linens, towels, and toiletries. The property and grounds are lush with a wide variety of tropical foliage. Everything is beautiful and well kept. The pools and hot tubs are clean and inviting, and there are always plenty of towels, as well as sun tanning lotion and bug repellent spray. During the day, the staff pass around to the guests cold towels to refresh oneself as well as high end snacks. There is always water, lemonade, and ice tea available. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and generous, and the late afternoon happy hour is when guests meet over drinks and tasty appetizers. In short, this is a very successful resort with many loyal repeat customers. I had a wonderful time.

Pineapple Point is by far one of the best vacation spots I have ever been to, hands down. It's hard to describe just how magical this resort is, but here goes...

First, when you walk through the front gate onto the property, it's like entering another world. The tropical plants and trees transform you to a place that you can only find in exotic locations like a rain forest or island paradise. The landscaping alone is worth a visit; breathtaking and well maintained.

Next, there is the resort's staff, all of whom are exquisitely professional, friendly, and accommodating to your every need. The front desk staff are very helpful and gave excellent restaurant recommendations, as well as really going the extra mile to make our stay as memorable as possible. We were taken on a private tour of the entire property when we arrived, led by staff member Dennis. We interacted a lot with him and another staff member, Torino, and both made us feel very welcome. They are consummate hosts and we appreciated their attention and assistance. Every detail is covered and we had everything we needed at a moment's notice. It was my partner's birthday weekend, and they put up a "Happy Birthday" sign in our room, accompanied by numerous balloons and birthday cupcakes. What a lovely surprise!

The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed with king-sized beds, beautiful furniture and thoughtful decor. We stayed in a room near the front desk the first night, then we moved to a villa suite (essentially a 3 story town house with a private balcony) on the second night. The villa was impressive, with a huge, beautiful living room, a dining room and full kitchen. The bed room on the third floor was gorgeous and quite large, with a very comfortable bathroom and doors that opened to an outdoor private balcony. We also had a hot tub and lap pool right outside our front door, which was a welcome relaxation after a long day. Coffee was brought to us in the morning and it was nice to sit out on the balcony to enjoy it.

Other amenities included a larger main pool, with plenty of lounge chairs, and a second hot tub near that pool. There is a gym on site that is sufficient for a good workout, and bicycles to use at your leisure. Pineapple Point is in a very cozy and lovely neighborhood, so biking allows you to explore the area and see many beautiful homes and gardens.

Overall, we could not have asked for a better getaway. The only regret is that we could not stay longer. But we are already planning a return visit! Do yourself a favor and spend a few days at Pineapple Point.

Impeccable in every way. Super-engaged service, immaculate cleanliness, comfort, pretty design, bikes you can borrow, never want for a drink or a towel or sunblock or ANYTHING. The guys who come here are also all friendly and social, to both single dudes and couples. GO TO PINEAPPLE POINT- there's no comparable experience in South Florida

This is going to be difficult to write something that hasn’t already been said. Flew in to Miami, my worry for weeks was how to get to Fort Lauderdale without costing a fortune so we decided to take an Uber which was circa $60 which was probably the cheaper option.
Arrived to a warm welcome from the team, and after unpacking we toured the beautiful well kept grounds of the resort, like a maze, then a skinny dip in the pool.
Our room number 6 was immaculate, cleaned immaculately every day, usually when we were at breakfast. Bedding was clean, fresh and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
Breakfast was relaxed, coffee from 7:15 for early risers and a great continental from 8:00. We would normally go for a walk around lunchtime for a drink but here at the Pineapple we hardly left the premises as John would serve us our wine around the pool, and made sure we were well looked after. Oh yes and free ice cream very day.
In the evening there was the wine/beer/ nibbles happy hour, great time to meet all the other guests, all served with a smile and welcome from lovely Tim.
If you feel a bit intimidated by some of the bodies on the website, don’t be, the people here are all shapes, sizes and ages all so friendly.
We used to eat at los Olas in the evening, about a 15 minute walk but a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. The only regret we had was not venturing to Wilton Manors, but you needed to drive or get a taxi, but hey next time yes.
Did I mention the staff? Probably the greatest team of polite, friendly and professional guys you could want to meet, Judd and Phil you should be very proud of them, it’s really the people that make the vacation.
We were sorry to leave, and sure look forward to coming back, thank you Pineapple Point for making our vacation one to remember.

Our 2nd visit to FL and first gay resort here. Best thing I can say is we are already looking forward to coming back!

Amazing welcome as soon as we arrived. Loads of staff around always willing to help and assist make your stay the best possible one. Lots of extras are I cluded in your price, coffee, soft drinks through the daily, snacks for when munchies kick in. But also plenty of sun screen to keep yourself safe and protected (SPF 30 and 50), bug repellent spray for those who bugs find irresistible to munch on, hand sanitiser too. And a real touch of small details ... Glasses lens wipes to keep your specs sparkling.

The morning breakfast buffer is large and plentiful too. And as a Brit visiting there is always something we worry about with any USA hotel ... Tea! We all know America can't do proper tea, so it was very pleasing to see a selection of Twinnings tea bags!

Two pools, two hot tubs, so much lush greenery around the grounds.

We stayed in a king room, perfect temperature and excellent pillows (it's always about the pillows).

A little slice of paradise.

Pineapple Point is simply amazing! We have visited many times over the years and the high standards they’ve set for themselves are consistently met. As other reviewers have noted, the staff, service, amenities, and accommodations combine to make a fantastic experience. I appreciate the attention to every detail. This picture of a succulent garden in a hidden spot is just one example of how they surprise and delight their guests. Can’t wait to go back!

The “coldest” months here would probably be Jan., Feb. and Mar. with late fall and early spring having a few cooler days. The great thing about South Florida is that the sun almost always shines, especially in the fall, winter and spring! Plus, the pool is heated and secluded from a cool breeze, so you can conceivably swim year round! We love Pineapple Point and you will, too! Happy travels!

Hi, Jenna! I'm assuming by your name that you're a female. Idk it's 2022 and not sure how you identify. It's a male only resort. So not sure if any of your questions are relevant after knowing this information.

Sorry. Just seeing this. I often travel solo. Really enjoyed myself on this trip. The staff were friendly and the guests were easy to chat up. It was fairly cruisy at times, especially in the evening/night. This place definitely has a vibe that allows for connecting. It was a really nice change from the Ritz Carlton vibe though. The hot tub got pretty busy late at night but the guests were really cool about me stepping out and walking away. I made a friend during my visit and the way this place is set up facilitated a relaxed intimacy. Hammocks, alcoves.. it was great if you were looking for a little romance/intimacy. My room had a glass block wall in the shower that faced the courtyard. Didn’t realize at first that I had an audience.. but the glass blocks afforded a certain amount of mystery so I wasn’t mad at it. I’m really looking forward to going again
