We had a Jr Suite with partial ocean view. Wow. The suite was stunning, massive, and well-appointed with an incredible view. Going forward, it is going to be hard to beat this suite. We loved the Byredo products, the nice turndown service, the comfortable balcony with those views and the ample living room space to sit and relax. The mattress and bedding were super comfortable and even smelled fresh. Wear and tear was not to be found in our suite.
The pool deck is expansive, also with great views, and has plenty of seating choices for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. We enjoyed a tasty late lunch around the bar on the pool deck and found the servers and bartenders to be very accommodating and welcoming.
All the staff we encountered were helpful, cordial and professional. Check-in was a very nice experience. Bottled water was plentiful in all areas so it is unlikely you will go thirsty.
Unfortunately, I can't comment on the other restaurants or the beach service, but those areas looked inviting and hopefully we can utilize them on a future stay.
I would absolutely 100% recommend this property and would stay here again in a second. The entire hotel is beautiful and the experience was exactly what I would expect from a high-end property. In the meantime, I'll be daydreaming of our suite until we can return again.
Our 1 bedroom “partial sea view” suite was really spacious and had a great view of the sea and intercostal waterway.
We loved the Byredo bath products.
Housekeeping did a fantastic job, both during the day and with the turndown service each evening. In particular,
we really appreciated that plenty of complimentary bottles of water were provided.
When the staff at the front desk learned it was our honeymoon they surprised us by leaving a complimentary bottle of red wine in our room, which was much appreciated.
We had an amazing dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Takato.
One negative is that we found the food and drinks in the Cornucopia market on the ground floor of the hotel to be very expensive.
Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing break by the beach.

The residence was spotless and more than enough essentials were placed in the suite to accomodate us. We will definitely return for a visit.
Cons: Some of the furniture in the suite show a little wear like suite tables & chairs. I do believe that suites at this price point should not shown signs of wear and tear.
Lastly, this property definitely treats guest of AMEX are treated extremely well and they honored all the benefits of being an Amex member.
Thanks Congrad for an azing stay and the early and late checkout.
See you again soon!
Check-in was seamless and we were even upgraded to a one bedroom suite. We all loved the views of the beach from our room, as well as the spaciousness of the room and bathroom (unfortunately, we did not have time to use the bathtub). The kitchen had everything that we needed (microwave, dishes, silverware) to heat some leftovers that we had brought with us to snack on, too, which was fabulous. Everything was clean, also.
Before the game, we spent the day at the pool with our two kids (ages 10 and 11). We all loved the pool, as well as the green space with the giant Jenga, cornhole, and other games. The pool staff was on point, setting up our chairs when we got there, giving us water, and going above and beyond every time we asked for something (we had lunch by the pool...the service was great and the food was delicious!) and also checking in frequently to see if we needed anything else. The kids loved their virgin frozen strawberry daiquiris, too!
When we got back to go to bed, the room had been turned down, which is something that I always love when hotels do - especially when they provide chocolate!
The kids slept well on the sofa bed (which I believe had a memory foam mattress) with no complaints (which is not always the case when they sleep on sofa beds) and we especially appreciated that there were two different thermostats - one for our bedroom and one for the living room, where the kids slept, because my husband and I tend to like to have the room colder than the kids do for sleeping and usually we have to settle for one temperature at hotels.
We can't wait to return the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale - and, next time, we will ensure that we don't have to leave at 6:30AM so that we can enjoy the comfortable beds and other amenities for a bit longer (we were actually so disappointed that we had to leave so early and not get more time to enjoy the room and hotel that we tried to change our flight to a later one around midnight, but no later flights were available).

Arrived at the hotel at 9:58am and was at the desk a fees minutes later. Megan was the desk agent and she was incredibly friendly. She said not only was our room ready this early but that we had also received an upgrade. She also noted my daughter’s birthday and walked over to her to convey birthday wishes before we got in the elevator.
Our room was 2205 which is a huge 2 bedroom residency type room with full kitchen and living room. The room has an exceptionally large balcony, furnished with table for four and other seats. The water views wrapped around the room and the balconies. The bath products were the Conrad standard Mojave Ghost in the dispensers.
In the evening, they sent a lovely birthday cupcake for my daughter.
We tried room service once and it was delivered quickly and the quesadillas are very good. We also ate at Takato once night and the restaurant was excellent if you like Japanese or Korean cuisine.
The beach is right across the street and the hotel has staff that will arrange umbrellas and chairs for you.
If you are traveling the FLL and are looking for space, beach access and views and excellent service, I recommend the Conrad.
1) no greeting whatsoever by bellhops or door attendants when you come and go. They just ignore you unless you need their help.
2). Very limited dining opportunities. If you don’t like upscale Japanese you are basically out of luck for dinner. And even lunch is pretty limited. Breakfast rather limited as well.
3). Pool attendants are great but waitstaff not well trained or polished. Pool side food service stops at 5pm, which is really too early. Food quality was just good. Definitely not memorable.
4). Beach attendants are unmotivated and it is sort of silly that with the resort fee they only include seating for 2 at the beach.
5). Fitness center is adequate but not up to par with most 5 star properties and worst is that there is no shower or changing facilities if you arrive before checkin time or have a chance to stay past check out time.
6). On our first stay the room wasn’t ready by checkin time.
7) not all rooms have balconies than can accommodate chairs for sitting out - some have just enough room to stand. Why even have a balcony then?
8) now that the 4 seasons has opened next door, if you are in that side of the property, there is no privacy if your shades are open - it is completely open for the property next door to watch you. Note that the reverse isn’t as true because the rooms at the 4 seasons are angled towards the water.
9) the soaps and toiletries in the room are the exact same as in the lower tiers of Hilton - would expect more upscale soap and shampoo at a 5 star.
10). Even if you are trying to enjoy the early evening beach, the chairs are collected right at 5pm. Why not allow you to stay comfortable until dusk?
11). There is turn down service but no little extras like nighttime battles of water left on the bed stand or chocolates on the pillow. And no minibar or snacks in the room.
This all said, it is a lovely place to stay with large well thought out rooms (equipped with good single serve nesspresso coffee) nice common areas, an attractive bar and “library seating area” and good access to a quiet stretch of public beach.
There is a reason the rooms at the newly opened 4 seasons next door are more expensive than the Conrad. Even though Conrad bills itself as 5 star, what you get is decided 4 with a few hints of more.
