We had a very nice stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. My only complaint would be no cocktail available during 'cocktail hour' just beer, wine, soda. Otherwise all was very, very enjoyable with great staff and room.
All was good. Close to beach. Very clean and employees were very nice and accommodating. Had a problem with the key to room and was handled quickly! Breakfast was always ready every morning during the posted times.
Overall, a nice hotel with all rooms having an ocean view and private furnished balcony. Heated pool and hot tub also overlook the beach, along with a large lower deck with plenty of lounge chairs. Attractive furnishings and decor in rooms and common areas. Another plus - we were allowed to check in a couple of hours early. Downsides - only 1 set of elevators, so there is almost always a long wait, and we would usually just take the stairs. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here within the last 3 years, and construction was going on both times. Also, the water to the entire building was turned off for about 2 hours, with no prior warning. TV was pretty old and didn't have many channels, and remote was wonky. All in all, pretty good value for a beachfront hotel.
vvery nice place. very well located super view on the beach well equiped for a beach holiday. wide room breakfast OK easy parking staff very friendly and helfull thanks ! just a minor point: why start the lift renovation during memorial dyas holiday. just one lift is paintfull with the queue
Nice older hotel with great location however the elevator did NOT work and my family was placed on three separate floors. Booked rooms in February with no feedback concerning the request to be placed together until check-in. Only one suite per floor?
We had an excellent experience at The Bahama House. Wake up with an Ocean view in a safe hotel that is clean. The beach so clean it is hard to even find a shell at times. Happy hour with free drinks for Mom and Dad as the kids play in the pool. The one issue we had was with the AC but this shows you how good they are at the Bahama House. One night The AC began to make a slight noise so my wife calls and asks about it. The AC still worked, it had just seen better days. Within an hour or so we had a maintenance man in the room and a new AC installed. They don’t play games with the level of service provided there. I will 100% go back to Bahama House next Summer. Maybe this fall if I’m lucky.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. The hotel was clean, the continental breakfast was adequate. The hotel rooms are functional and the amenities were basic, however, the hotel rooms were older and are in need of remodeling. The person that checked me in was not inviting or friendly. The other front desk clerk I came in contact with were professional. The pool area was nice for viewing the sunrise and sunsets on the beach.
Check in was very good! The room was good as we were only staying one night. It was very clean! I was happy about the happy hour but not as happy when I could only have one glass of the cab because that was the end of the bottle. There were other wines available but why not open another cab as it will be fine to use it up the next night. My husband went down to check out the breakfast offerings and was not impressed so we went to a restaurant for breakfast. Nice location on the beach!
No low carb for breakfast Elevator not working Like to get the same room but told that can’t happen Live the parking garage Rooms could be updated especially in the bathrooms and carpet Girls at desk very helpful
Nice, clean, overall great experience. Staff was very helpful. Would have liked a healthier breakfast. Not much selection for health foods. I loved the weather there and beach was very nice. Can’t believe how nice it was to stay there at a low cost
