Stayed here for a week while visiting family in Daytona. The hotel was clean & cleaning service is by request, which was quick anytime we called to exchange towels or for trash pick up. Close to the beach & a short drive to most places. The front desk staff was always nice & helpful. There isn’t a hot breakfast offered but there was coffee & muffins in the morning. Plus you have a full kitchen in your room. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I stayed here to meet up with some high school friends for a reunion. We loved the room and the View from the balcony was perfect! The staff was helpful and cheerful. Great value for being right on the beach!
We stayed in 204, room was clean but the customer service was abysmal. Disraceful attitude when requesting replacement towels & wash clothes. The 2 young ladies working the front desk could care less about negative reviews. Maybe their supervisor should be aware.
We stayed here for only one night on our way to the airport, but we experienced the best customer service throughout our whole stay in the USA. We arrived early, but the very friendly receptionist told us we could leave the car there and use their facilities. She then emailed me to tell me the room was ready - before check in time. The room was on the 9th floor and had the most beautiful views and the best sunrise we’ve ever seen! Lots of windows with views over the seafront, pool, and city. Comfy beds and good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very clean and attractive. Ice machine on certain floors. We had a lovely afternoon/evening and morning on the beach and enjoying their pool and hot tub. The only downside was we weren’t able to find somewhere to eat but we ordered Uber eats, which worked out fine. To top our stay off (and our review) my daughter left her soft toy behind and we didn’t realise until we were back at home in the UK. I contacted the hotel and they sent it back - it arrived less than a week later! My daughter is over the moon. If we ever come back to the states, we will 100% stay here again. It was by far the nicest, friendliest hotel we came across!…
Stayed here a few days ago and just loved it. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The pool area is very nice and there is entry onto the beautiful beach there. Nature watchers will love the vast number of sea birds there are flying around. I would highly recommend a stay here
Stayed here pre-sale to another Hotel owner that owns a famous hotel down the street, and now post "under new management" after the sale a year ago. The other hotel has alot of signs on it, "don't touch the motorcycles, the musical instruments, the stage costumes" etc. The Nautilus now has it's own signs: "Don't open the room patio doors", (keep the hotel hermetically sealed.) Really? I drove a thousand miles just to keep the patio door open to listen to the greatest sound machine ever made - the lull of the surf while sleeping, After cutting much of the staff the Nautilus can't afford now to install a $7 per door attached by magnets sliding door screen to allow the doors to stay open and keep the love bugs out? "The restaurant is permanently closed" "There is no daily housekeeping of the room " And, when you check in, you have to read a lengthy paragraph on the check in sheet about the horrific damages you will pay if caught smoking on the property, not only sign the check-in sheet BUT ALSO specifically initiial the no smoiking paragraph. Ok, did that. But two nights later the anti-smoking hotel police force stuck ANOTHER warning letter under my door. My wife and I never have smoked, never will; but the hotels anti-smoking sniffer dog apparently thought it smelled smoke as it passed our room on its hourly patrol and dropped another turdnote under out door. I am very uphappy that the Nautilus has morphed into a "Big Brother is Watching" Gulag, complete with Daytona Beach Police vehicle nightly patrols of the parking lot recording license plate numbers. The NautilusIt used to be a nice, relaxed, FULL SERVICE BUT "hands off the micro-management of the guests" place to stay. Sorry to see it's decline under new management.…
We had never been to Daytona, but this was a great start. The hotel is located JUST far enough from the busier areas, but close enough to walk on the beach and get to the Pier. The room was so nice and quiet, still a great view from the side of the building, and the kitchen was a plus. Staff are SUPER nice and informative as well.
This was one of the nicest oceanfront hotels I have ever stayed at. I stayed down the street at Wyndham ocean walk and my room at the Nautilus Inn was a lot nicer. I had a king bed room with a full kitchen and I payed on average 200 a night what more can you possibly ask for. The pool was generally very clean unless it was really windy then leaves would blow in through out the day which is understandable. Maile and Kathy were so incredibly nice to me through out my whole stay. I travel with a 2 year old and they made it so I could have a early check in. They had my room ready at noon when they have a 4pm check in. I appreciate that a lot!!! I can honestly say that everyone at the front desk did everything they could to make our trip amazing!! Everyone was extremely friendly and always said hi when you walked by I will definitely be back for my future trips to Daytona Beach. I would say the Wi-Fi could be upgraded or something because it wasn’t great at times. But overall I had the time of my life!!!! Thank you nautilus inn for a great vacation for me and my family!!!! Below are pictures I took from my balcony and I also took some pictures sitting in the hot tub as I watched the sun rise. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunrise over Daytona beach is a amazing experience and one you can do very peacefully at this hotel.…
This is one of the better hotels in this particular area of Daytona beach. A 3 star rating for a 2 star hotel is fair. The room with Ocean view is spacious and the addition of Fridge, kettle, toaster and sink is very handy given there is nowhere to get breakfast nearby. Overall pretty happy with the room. The biggest negative is definitely the hotel wifi signal, very poor and non existent at times. OK if your are a US guest but for European travellers it is not useable. Room cleaning could have been better also. The Aircon unit is the room is very noisy. First impressions count for a lot and the lady who checked us in was far from welcoming. Almost felt like it was an inconvenience for her! The other staff we saw during the week were all welcoming and friendly. Daytona Beach is very nice although it gets very busy with locals. The Daytona Beach area however is very dated. Crabbys just down the road definitely worth a visit.…
This is our 5th visit to the Nautilus Inn. Great location right on the beach. Well maintained property. Disappointed that they no longer include breakfast or happy hour , like they did for the past 4 visits. They also no longer offer daily housekeeping. You can exchange your dirty towels at the front desk, or ask when you need toilet paper refill. You can blame Covid for a lot of things, but every other hotel we have visited offered daily room housekeeping.
