Our stay at the hotel was just wonderful ! This review however, is directed specifically at Yaquelin Ojeda, one of the massage therapists at the hotel's Spa. I had been experiencing severe pain in both my shoulders for several months. I rarely spend time at hotel spas, but given my discomfort I chose to try a 50 minute massage with Yaquelin. I've had many many massages in the past and I can say with complete honesty that she knocked all of them out of the park ! She was able to locate all the tightness in my upper arms, shoulders and back. With deep tissue massage I walked out after fifty minutes feeling supple as a baby. In my opinion her work is one of highlights of the hotel !!! Pain or no pain, as a guest you should treat yourself to a bit of her extraordinary work. (To the hotel : Please share my review with her. Just perfect!
Perfect stay at this resort. We loved the hotel - pools and water slides were great! Our 8 year old son had so much fun! We especially appreciated the boat transfer to the private beach of the hotel. Also the children club was amazing, our son was so happy to stay there one morning.

Recommend Coconut Point Resort
We arrived expecting an enjoyable time based on past experiences. This four day stay met all of our expectations. The rooms were spacious and clean and the view of the Gulf and Coconut Point was breath taking.. We look forward to future stays at Hyatt Regency Resorts and Spas.

Nice Water Park on the Property
The property has pleasant rooms a very decorative lobby and a water slide for little kids and larger slides for older kids. The property has a beach on a private island on the gulf, but you have to take a boat ride to get to it, and you have to reserve seats on the boat in advance. At $400 a night it isn’t a bargain, but that seems to be the going rate for the fancier resorts. I’d rate value as average. Would I go back? Probably. The property has several restaurants, but we didn’t try them choosing to eat at local seafood places instead.

Another Great Stay at Hyatt Regency Coconut Pointe
My family and I have stayed here many times. The grounds are always well manicured and the food is solid. We enjoyed Tanglewood for breakfast and the Club Lounge in the evenings. The pools were at a comfortable temperature and even the one pool that wasn't heated served its purpose. Always love the water slides and the lazy river. We even spent an afternoon at the Coconut Plantation to for a change up. Thank you in particular to Neil who helped make my families's stay fantastic once again. Also, thank you Sean in Valet. I appreciate you running my chic-fila drinks to me, catching me in the elevator as I had forgotten them in my car. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Has the effects from the red tide been bad at the hotel? How is the private beach? Are guest complaining of side effects from red tide while on hotel property?
We're happy to say there have not been any issues or complaints. Red Tide conditions are highly localized and change quickly with wind direction and weather.

I am considering coming out in Early December. Besides the private beach, can you tell me how far it is to a public beach? I’m also wondering will the weather generally be warm enough for swimming, in your pools and in the ocean
Hi Dan, public beaches are about a 20 minute drive from the resort and water temps in December will be in the low 70s. At the resort, we heat three of our four pools and the lazy river to 86 degrees, so you can always be assured of warm water. Thankfully, because the resort is on a bay and not open water, we're more protected from red tide than most other area hotels. Conditions change and can vary widely.

Is this an all inclusive hotel.?
Hello, We are not an all-inclusive resort. However, there are quite a few amenities that are included with your reservation including the lazy river, waterslides, pools, resort trolley and the Island Excursion for a boat trip to our private beach on an island in the eco preserve 15 minutes offshore.

Are the premium poolside seats worth it? What else is available? We are planning on coming in March and everything is booked until 4pm😏
We responded to our guests' requests to offer this service. On weekends and busy holiday times, guests have found premium seating a great value and made their vacations even better. Premium seating includes a guaranteed umbrella and shade with the closest poolside locations. Seating may be booked online after 4pm the day prior to use, and up to 4 seats can be booked per guestroom. Guests should arrive at your reserved seats before 11am to confirm your reservation.

Good morning. I'm about to book a room here but there's a rate with and without breakfast. I'm not sure which is better since even it's buffet we don't usually eat a lot. I'm not sure about the menu prices for the breakfast if I decide to do the standard rate without breakfast for my family. Thank you!
Hi Natalia, The bed & breakfast rate is very popular with our guests and is a great value. You get breakfast buffet for two every day at Tanglewood restaurant and a late check out of 1pm based on availability. Breakfast is valued at $52 per day, tax and gratuity not included. Comparing rates for the bed & breakfast vs. standard rates, it's a great value.
