The accommodation, hospitality and warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere of this place and the people here make for a magical experience. We were a bit worried on the way in thinking "were are we going?" but once you arrive into this estate it's like passing into another world. There are many things to do in Dolly Estate itself - horse riding, polo, golf, bike riding etc and Villa Luna is perfectly located for a short stroll to the Golf Club for lunch, which is also a very pretty spot. Veri and Alex are amazing hosts! Veri showed us around every day and made sure we were comfortable. The place is immaculately clean and excellently presented. There are enough shared spaces within the main house and gardens that you never feel like you're on top of other guests (there were other guests there and we never even saw them!). We made use of the pool too which is a great way to cool off in the heat of the day, and private from the rest of the estate because of the high walls around the villa. The backyard is also gorgeous for relaxing with a book and a cup of tea, while you watch impala & gazelle walking by right in front of you. Finally the FOOD is INCREDIBLE!! Overall an amazing place to stay. Spend 3 nights or more you won't regret it :-)…
Very confy and friendly villa in the middle of a golf resort with river and wildlife animal around. Magic atmosphere with italian/african cuisine. The host is a a very friendly italian lady . NOT to be missed!
I spent 2 days at Villa Luna with my husband right before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. This is the most peaceful place on earth. The lady who hosted us is lovely and has a very high quality of reception. Food was excellent. Highly recommended!
We stayed at Villa Luna for a weekend out of Arusha and loved our time here! Kiligolf is so beautiful and peaceful, with gorgeous views of Mt Meru (and I imagine Kili when it's clear). We loved all the birds and trees, and enjoyed a bicycle ride with Veruska who kindly showed us a single track route through the forest. Her hosting and helpfulness was superb and we will definitely be back soon!
Last July, on our way for a 5 days safari, we stopped 1 night at Villa Luna Retreat, with my wife and 2 adults children. We could very much appreciate the hospitality of Veruska, an italian lady, who is managing the villa with passion and quality. We walked for a tour of the golf course, where the villa is seated, for 2 hours where we could see many birds, the fearful dik-dik and the Helmeted guineafowl. We stopped for a lunch at the golf house, then palyed some balls at the golf driving range. The persons we met and the environment were a great beginning for a great vacation in Tanzania. Villa Luna, initially a private villa, has high quality facilities.
