We spent two nights in a one bedroom unit. Our stay we excellent from the beginning. The staff at the front desk was attentive and friendly. The condo is well furbished and comfortable. We enjoyed the small pool and the nice hut tub. Its great to see a resort that provides towels, toiletries and welcoming staff. We will be back with our family.
We just recently spent 4 days at the Mountain Haus and it was so relaxing and you can’t ask for a better location! The units are so spacious and clean. We have a family of 5 and we had plenty of room. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Especially Sunny who went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. In these times it’s so nice to be greeted in a way that makes you feel welcome and Sunny definitely made us feel that way:)
The hotel called me 48 hours after I booked and told me the resort was closed and gave me the option of a 50% discount or a credit. Are you kidding me??? Awful customer service. I whole-heartedly would recommend choosing any other location in the world.
The staff was very welcoming, but our room left a lot to be desired. I felt claustrophobic and the sheets were scratchy! It was clean, but minimalistic. The location was great. We have stayed next door at the Lodge which was 100% better.
We have stayed at Mountain Haus 5 years in row over the Winter Break (December). Each year our stay is fabulous. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. The unit was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils and cabinet space. Mountain Haus provides breakfast downstairs every morning. My kids loved the freedom of being able to go and grab food without us. There are plenty of choices so you don’t feel like you are eating the same thing every day. They also provide shampoo/conditioner/soap for the bathroom as well as robes for each person. The units don't have washer/dryers in them but there is free laundry in the basement including laundry soap. I washed at all different times during our stay and never had to wait for a machine. They have a great selection of DVD's to borrow at no cost. There is free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccinos, etc. in the lobby at all times and cookies every afternoon as well as apples. There is a basket on the counter with little packets of sunblock and lip balm which my kids love. Many of the staff bring their dogs to work. My kids absolutely LOVED playing with them every day. We were very sad to learn Lincoln was relocating in January. The staff has become a part of our family over the years. We flew in on my daughters’ birthday and found their room decorated with balloons and a signed card. They have a grocery delivery option. If you choose this option, your groceries are waiting in the unit when you arrive. There was Gingerbread decorating and stocking decorating on two of the afternoons after skiing. We had several packages delivered and they would be waiting in our unit. The location is great to Gondola One and the village. You can easily walk in ski boots. The Vail free shuttle is outside the front door and runs between Lionshead and Vail every few mintues. We didn't rent a car and it was not a problem. It’s like staying with family only you have your own space and someone to make your bed every morning! I can't say enough great things about Mountain Haus and the staff.…
