This was our second stay at Ramada Plaza in 2.5yrs. Location is good to get around Hollywood. Hotel is comfortable. Foyer and corridors clean. Room amenities as expected. We had 3 in room with 2 double beds. Bathroom appropriate size. Shower is in bath (slip mats are provided)
Parking is available onsite (although bit pricey at $40/day) Wifi not always reliable. Guest Laundry available (though more expensive than hotels at Disney to do a load and dry it!!)

Thank you for your review. Ramada Plaza West Hollywood has an outstanding location and is minutes from Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. The hotel provides clean, comfortable guestrooms that are reasonably priced. Overnight parking in West Hollywood is expensive in the area due to the lack of available parking, however, our rates remain one of the lowest in the city.

I enjoy staying there because of the location. I think the Lobby area is a missed opportunity. From my recollection it has not been remodeled in 2 decades. It could be so inviting, hip and fun. Right now it is none of those, thread bare & uninviting.
The Valet area and main entrance to the lobby is under lite and needs new fixtures & LED lighting, Currently it is dark and uninviting.A guests first impressions when they arrive are the entrance and Lobby and currently neither make a good first impression.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your patronage. Ramada Plaza provides an outstanding location when visiting WeHo, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. Plans for the lobby, valet area and parking structure are currently under review and consideration. We also believe there's an excellent opportunity to redevelop these areas to be more inviting.

The room was a little outdated and you can tell the room was used as the walls/mirrors were not as "nice" as they should have been (paint chipping, etc..) The room had an odor but I think it was just the air conditioner because it was HOT. Office staff was hard to understand but the disappointment was in the parking! DISCLOSE DISCLOSE - I think anytime someone pays for a hotel room they should be able to park 1 vehicle for free which should be included with room rates. Rooms are already expensive with taxes and tourist fees - at least 1 parking space should be available per room. I would have had no problem paying the $40 if I had a 2nd car. Almost $300 for 1 night for an average hotel that has a good location but not updated.

We can say after having more than 20 nights over time at this Landmark of Zen the Ramada should not be judged by some reviews written constantly by competing properties or those with malice of thought. Over the last 10 years this icon has grown in stature and helped usher in WEHO as a world class destination. With a tireless team who smile and offer assistance with an open non judgemental hand ,this is a hotel not to missed. The linens are much higher quality than would be found in a price range as this and cleanliness is always key. We don't understand reviews about this fore every room and suite has been awesome and if there is an issue a smile and a quick response from the staff makes this the destination for WEHO for the Beach for Hollywood ,or a magical walk to the land of Beverly HIlls. You can walk easy to the best LA has to offer and sleep and an awesome bed !The location reminds me of Paris the left bank and the Ramada hosts a variety of incredible food options and the worlds most famous bars within a 4 minute walk! We don't understand why this property does not charge more as the price is half as much as competing properties with most all amenities . A private pool and security smiling and strong that can be seen in all hours and clean well lit safe halls - The team is exceptional and we did meet Marie a Hollywood icon herself who has thrown her life into the dedication that this multi faceted motel hotel is clean serene and filled with rivers of love. If you come to Hollywood and want to be in the center of the action and not pay the price of a four star property. I came here as a young person 25 years ago and as i shift into the that middle of age i still find the magic ,. You can TOO

The hotel is in a great location but that's about all that's good about it. I booked a loft, got to my room and it was okay, very very dated and just basic amenities but I'm an easy person to please so it was fine. I check out the bathroom and it was filthy. There were TOENAIL CLIPPINGS on the floor and dirt and grime all over the floor. The next day my room was never cleaned and no towels were restocked. I went to check out this morning and nobody was at the counter. I stood there for about 5 minutes, still nobody around so I just left. Also, the hallways smell awful. They actually smell like body odor has been permanently embedded into the floors and walls.

Again, I'm an easy person to please but when you're paying $180/night for a hotel room, basic cleanliness shouldn't be difficult

I was here with this hotel was billed about 20 years ago it has not been updated it’s still at a premium price a room for $300 with popcorn ceilings in the front desk staff was rude and discriminatory against the trans and LGBT community.
Literally I’ve had a better express deals at Motel 6 than this the front desk clerk told me that they were charging me $300 deposit so if I use the mini bar and then when I get in the room and tell him there’s no mini bar he said yeah it comes with nothing. This is after making me wait in the lobby for 30 minutes and two other people within our community to check in. So watch your money here don’t check in it’s not worth $.10 on the dollar here!

We recently stayed at this hotel mid week for a girl's getaway. The hotel is in a fantastic location and based on the website, one would think we were staying at a somewhat decent place. However, when we arrived, we were greeted with the grumpiest staff member who treated us like we were garbage and then proceeded to tell us that our rooms would not be cleaned during our stay, but we could get towels if we needed. Ironically, when we asked for towels, they were not delivered, and then had to call again at 10:30 at night and a security guard brought them up, In addition, there would be a $47 a night parking fee!!!! We were floored! Had we known all of these things we would have stayed at a nicer place with service we deserved with a reasonable parking fee. Our room was nothing like what was pictured on the website. It was dated, worn out, and smelled old. There was no decor, decorative bedding, or furniture as in the website. The air-conditioning was very dated, though it did work, thank goodness. If you are desperate you can tough it out, but do yourself a favor and find someplace else to stay in the same area... you will be much happier.

Do not stay here! If you are looking to save a couple dollars don't do it here. Parking at this location is not listed anywhere on the website or when you go to reserve a room. They charge $47 dollars a night and we had no idea until we checked in at 10:30pm and it was too late. Other Ramada hotels in the area have free parking. Also no housekeeping said because of Covid. Once again called the other Ramada Hotels in area all had daily housekeeping. We had to ask for towels 3 times and a security guard finally brought them up. Staff is not friendly, rooms are run down and bare bones. Never again!

Do not stay at this hotel, the female reception staff member was so vague with her answers when we asked simple questions and it seemed to be a bother to her. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything from next door. We were moved to another floor after I complained but it was still a small room that could have done with a thorough clean. Also upon our first night we ventured outside only to be confronted by some homeless people who became very aggressive when we tried to walk pass them. Not really safe at night for women.

The only major con of this hotel might be a fatal flaw for some guests so I’m starting with it: there is currently no housekeeping service at this Ramada! The official reason is Covid, but this makes no sense since every other hotel including other Ramadas have returned to full service so maybe it’s a staffing issue. Even so, they have to have a system in place to at least collect trash, deliver new towels, and provide basics like toilet paper. Right now, there is NO system and everything happens randomly. Not good and not sustainable.
That out of the way, the hotel has a lot to recommend it: rooms comfortable enough for two, good water pressure, comfortable bed, room to unpack, black out shades, charging consoles at bedside, good and varied lighting. The pool and surrounding area are a nice bonus. Our room was blessedly silent, but I don’t think the hotel was very full the week we were there. All this at a pretty low price (relative to other hotels) in a great central LA location. For those reviewers shocked by the admittedly high parking fee, we found that the low room price and the high parking price combined were substantially lower than other 3 star hotels in the WeHo area. Overall, decent value for your dollar, but the housekeeping situation in really not tolerable.

We had a loft room and it had a balcony. I think all hotels in West Hollywood are nonsmoking inside but have designated smoking areas outside.

There is a hop on / hop off stop within 5 minutes of walking from the hotel (big bus) . You can buy tickets online or ask one of the hotel staff to buy it for you. There are 5 different loops and each loop takes roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the bus to complete. the busses are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. I would buy a ticket for three days to get max discount and be able to see all favourites.
