Detailed Reviews
Our family party of 5 (all adults) stayed at the 850 earlier this month. The rooms are cozy, well-appointed and comfortable and the staff were fantastic and couldn't help more.
A continental breakfast is served each morning in the common room and complimentary drinks for guests on the roof at night. A simple but well thought out room service with food supplied from a related restaurant was top notch.
The location is fantastic with Sunstrip Boulevard and the WeHo strip two minutes walk away.

Our apartment flooded so we needed a place to call home for a week + while getting things sorted. The staff was always lovely, valets friendly, and the hotel is quiet. It felt like a home away from home. I absolutely loved the smell of the soap, shampoo and conditioner but sadly it is not for sale and the staff couldn't tell me much more about it. So wish I could order it online. Guess I'll just have to book another staycation and enjoy the scent while I'm there. Walking distance to all the weho nightlife but far enough away that you don't hear it when heading to bed. Coffee is wonderful. Tiny suggestion. Little socks or felt sliders for the desk chairs. You can hear them through the ceiling and it will wake you up if you are a light sleeper.

Boutiques hotel in West Hollywood near shops and restaurants. More like an upscale B&B than hotel. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with lots of nice touches like a bar, refrigerator, big bathroom with great amenities, lots of hot water and surprisingly quiet given its near a busy area. The lounge area is inviting and there’s pastries, fruit, yogurt and coffee served in the morning. Staff are friendly and accommodating. There’s sufficient power plugs for charging and wifi is very good. Nice for a short stay or a longer vacation.

What a cute little gem of a boutique hotel have I discovered. The whole place is immaculately clean and feels bright, fresh and modern. I especially can’t over how meticulously decorated the rooms are with all the varying textures, accents and colors sprinkled throughout. Will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in LA.

This charming little boutique hotel in the heart of West Hollywood is a perfect escape . The rooms belong have a summer European feel and the staff is very nice . The hotel has only few rooms but if you want to experience the true feeling of living in an LA neighborhood is just perfect . The receptionist s are all very nice and ready to give you the best tips for restaurants bars etc.. we would definitely go back there . If you look for a high end hugest house type of experience in LA you found the perfect spot.

The hotel is a boutique hotel. It gives you a feeling as if you are at home, There is a kitchen area that you can take whatever you want anytime, you can sit in the terrace and it is safe. The hotel's location is also nice! I also liked the welcome note which was written by handwrite :)

Everything here is fantastic!! I was traveling for business and rely on a hotel to be my "home away from home" and this hotel did just that.
The housekeepers are phenomenal (I've never commented on housekeeping in my life!) but they were truly special and did not miss one detail.
Rooms are wonderful with thoughtful touches everywhere.
Common spaces excellent and charming. European breakfast is lovely even though I never had any - I don't eat breakfast but went for a quick look one morning.
Valets are all fabulous as well as hotel manager. The only critique and it's not important was the sweet, handsome (pretty eyes) front desk gentleman in the mornings is not a people person and seemed completely checked out and uninterested in talking to guests or offering any warmth or personality. The hotel is so FABULOUS, you won't even care!! I can't wait to go back!

Few, nice rooms, with small terraces facing the backyard. I think normally it seems to be a quiet place, but there was a building construction site quite near. Also have a good vibe. As I remember, the staff was decent and helpful, Clean and charming decoration.

I was recommended to 850 Hotel by a friend in the luxury travel industry. We checked into room 13 a Superior Queen, the night of January 25th after booking 3 weeks in advance. Since we had upcoming dinner reservations, we did not have time to assess the room other than it was rather small and basic compared to how it was advertised online, as it was getting late and we had to dash out to dinner.
When we returned for the night it became apparent that traffic from Santa Monica Blvd. was very loud. In addition, the lights on the outdoor patio were on all night making it even more difficult to sleep. Lastly, some of the fixtures were loose and the wires from the floor lamps were not discreetly secured behind a bureau and draped onto the floor.
We have stayed in many boutique hotels, and expect much better for the price we paid for a basic room ($450/night including fees). Considering there is no pool or bar on location, I would think everything else would be top notch. There are many other luxury hotels options in the area that I am sure would have offered a better experience.
We discussed our issues with Carlos at the front desk the next morning at checkout and he was very polite and helpful. However he did say that 850 has nicer rooms, and alluded to the possibility that our room could have been given to someone else since we checked in late. This is unacceptable considering we reserved our room 3 weeks ahead. A late check in is no excuse for giving us a bad room. He also mentioned he would leave a message with the manager who was off-site to get back to us upon his return, he never did. A few days later we received a generated email from the hotel asking about our experiences, we shared this information with them, to which we still have not received a response a week later. We expected more from this hotel and was a bit disappointed.

Convenient and cozy spot in WeHo is the latest project for local hotelier Jeff Klein. I stayed there literally the first week of the property opening. Overall it is well-curated and comfortable with its patios and smart community dining and lounge area.
The director of operations, Masha, and I had a chance to visit as she was greeting guests at breakfast. She was warm and gracious and welcomed all feedback as the hotel works out the kinks and becomes a go-to spot in WeHo!
