We are frequent visitors to LA and were excited to try this hotel because we live close to the Dumbo one.
On the positive side, the rooms were beautiful and quite large for a city hotel. They were promptly cleaned each day and I didn’t find the spaces to be loud. I also thought the gym and pool space were very pleasant. The location is good and as walkable as LA gets.
On the down side, the elevators are extremely dark and I am sure my parents would have had difficulty navigating. I would also recommend the bathrooms get nightlights, which guests could enable if they wanted to.
Overall the design is unusual but nice, I thought for the price point (which was less than the London and the Edition), it was well worth it.

I stayed with some friends at 1 Hotel and was incredibly happy with the high level of service, cleanliness, and beauty of the hotel. This is easily one of the most beautiful hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. What's more, the attentive staff and incredible amenities made our stay an absolute joy. The whole time we were at the hotel we felt well cared for and safe. I was concerned initially with cleanliness and precaution with corona and was impressed with the measures the staff and hotel had taken to make guests feel safe. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, and all guests were required to have their temperature checked upon entry, and everyone wore masks. The staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful in all parts of the hotel! Kris and Fitz in valet were efficient and incredibly helpful and friendly. The bellmen Will and Kenny were also key in making check-in and check-out a breeze. All the staff made it a priority to make our stay safe and stress free. Overall this was the best hotel I've stayed in and I look forward to returning!

1 Hotel has long been my favorite hotel in LA. This stay was particularly impressive because on top of the 5 star amenities, gorgeous property, and top-notch staff, they did an exceptional job keeping their guest safe with their covid precautions. The hotel has seamlessly transitioned- from rooms being sanitized and sealed prior to check in, to temperature checks for all individuals who enter the hotel. The 1 hotel property is a gorgeous natural oasis, with lush greenery throughout and natural tones. I can’t help but feel relaxed the second I walk in! The thing I appreciate most, though, is the staff. Every time I have stayed at the hotel I have the pleasure of interacting with Will who offers warmest welcome ever. Kenny was fantastic assisting me in unloading all of my luggage and making sure it got to my room quickly and safely. Kris in the valet was so accommodating as I went in and out of the hotel multiple times a day, making sure I’d have my car whenever I needed it. Theo exceptional service at the front desk and helped me with a smile even when I left my key in my room. Finally, the pool staff is attentive and offer great service.
As long as I live in LA, the 1 hotel will be where I spend every staycation and send all visiting friends and family. The service is unmatched and staying there is truly an experience.

This was my first time visiting Los Angeles. Staying at this hotel was such a pleasant and perfect choice. Not only are they conscientious about the environment from the the eco-friendly, yet chic amenities throughout our stay, but exploring the entire hotel feels like you’re entering a pristine rainforest that feels like a spa with such warm, kind and welcoming staff. We were welcomed by Will who was such a kind gentleman that greeted us. The rest of the staff were very diligent about cleanliness and taking care and precaution for safety from COVID to make us all feel at ease by seeing the staff constantly sanitizing the common areas as well as keeping up the cleanliness of the pool area. On top of the diligence of cleanliness, the pool staff were so welcoming and accommodating and prompt that it felt like we were being hosted at a friend’s pool and not just a hotel. If you have a car, the valet will never keep you waiting and Kris will take great care of you to make sure you’re on time to all your daily events having your car ready to go. If you happen to choose 1 Hotel for your stay you will not regret it. It made my first time in Los Angeles so memorable and relaxing and my favorite trip so far.

I wish I could give 1 Hotel West Hollywood six stars in my review, since every part of my recent stay was fantastic. Anna in particular went above and beyond to accommodate a request I had and make my stay thoroughly special. In fact, thanks to her, my stay felt magical—the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in recent memory. Anna and the 1 Hotel WeHo team are so kind and helpful, and create an outstanding guest experience.
The hotel itself is beautiful and sophisticated with a focus on sustainability. Natural elements like reclaimed wood and plants are calming from the moment you walk in. You feel like you’re in an oasis—yet you’re also in a prime location, and the lobby has a fun hangout scene. The pool has a great vibe too—fun, but also relaxing and not loud—and an awesome view of the LA skyline. The pool is definitely one of my favorite parts of the hotel.
Oh but I haven’t even talked about the rooms yet. The bed and its crisp white linens is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Ever. It makes it so hard to leave! And the bathroom with its beautiful light marble tiling, reclaimed wood, and rainfall shower feels like a SPA. Not to mention the room design on the whole is thoughtful and stylish, and the sitting area is great too, with a comfy white linen couch. The room itself is something I look so forward to when I stay at 1 Hotel.
My most recent stay was my second stay at 1 Hotel WeHo—I loved it so much after one stay that I specifically stayed here again this time even though I would need to drive an hour to attend the wedding I was going to! That’s how much I love 1 Hotel! I already booked my next stay as well. :)

Picked this hotel because it is the closest one to the Comedy Store, just across the street and down a block or so. Great location on sunset blvd. Pink Dot across the street for snacks and such. Staff was very nice and helpful and friendly. Many things to purchase in the room and in the mini fridge, like a personal mini gift shop. I didn't buy any of it but it's a cute idea. Room service food ordered through an app, and is expensive but I did it once and it was very tasty. The one thing that i had a problem with was the cleaning staff putting my dirty used towels from the BATHROOM FLOOR, folded back on the shelf in the bathroom. When i go to hotels i generally use the same towel for about 3 days and don't have the room serviced but once every 3 days or so. I put my dirty used towels on the floor with makeup and such on them and when i went for a fresh towel, after the maids had come in, i pulled out my dirty towel which was made to look like it was a fresh new towel. Not sure if this is regular practice at this hotel but if it is I say they NEED to change that. I understand they want to be eco friendly, but that is why i used my towel for 3 days, but once i put it on the bathroom floor it is soiled and i don't want to find it back on the shelves trying to be masked as a fresh towel. That was very disgusting. Other than the dirty towels my experience at 1 Hotel West Hollywood was positive and i would stay here again.

On our recent visit to Los Angeles, my boyfriend and I decided to stay at the 1Hotel per Duy Tran’s recommendation. The moment we entered the boutique hotel, the smell of oakwood to the subtlety-lit lobby stole our hearts. The staff, bartenders, valet (and even guests) were extremely sweet. We were even greeted with a hand-written note and snacks!! Duy took the time to give us a full tour and all the perks of a 5 star hotel. Needless to say 1Hotel Weho you were a dream. We can’t wait to comeback and stay!

We arrived in midst of the covid lockdown. The hotel was virtually empty. Everything was clean and we felt safe. We asked for a roll a way bed and our reservation had us traveling with a pet. We had to call for the pet amenities and never received the rollaway bed. When we returned to the hotel that evening we called to remind them about the bed and were told housekeeping was closed so we couldn’t get one. I will admit, they offered us another room, but we’d have to pack up our 9 year old and dog late at night. We just touched it out. They did offer us 100 off our bill for the inconvenience so I thought it was handled well. We did like the hotel design so we’d try again.

My husband and I recently celebrated our birthdays with a staycation at the 1 Hotel. From the initial booking to the moment we checked out, we were treated with kindness, professionalism and respect. The staff went above and beyond with a genuine enthusiasm to make our experience special. Hat-tipping shout-outs to Tiffany, Jake and Theodore, the Front Desk team, and Mark, the night Manager of Harriet's. A honorable mention goes to our male pool server, who unfortunately, I didn't the name of. The pool server noticed we were dissappointed that there were no available lounge chairs, so he comped us two cocktail until one opened up - very classy.
Excellent staff aside, additionally impressive things about this hotel were; its gorgeous interior design which incorporates naturally fallen trees from local forests, invigorating wood scent, super quiet insulated rooms, immaculately clean public spaces, and the icing on the cake were their efforts and dedication to ECO Friendly practices. I'm definitely looking forward to my next stay at the 1 Hotel.

The 1 Hotel West Hollywood went above and beyond to make a challenging travel environment, enjoyable, memorable and safe. I drove to Los Angeles from San Francisco for a series of one-on-one meetings, with restaurants closed and indoor meeting facilities shut down my only option for a safe meeting was a large hotel suite with outdoor balconies and well ventilated outdoor public spaces. I chose the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood because I was familiar with thier Brooklyn Property and my employees who had stayed there raved about the staff, the facilities and the experience. To say the least, they exceeded all my expectations. The great service started with Marissa Rubalcava who leads Corporate Sales in Los Angeles, she helped guide me through what they could accomplish within the limits of the state and local regulations and was patient and kind about all my out of the blue questions. Because all of our meals had to be taken via in room dining I have to say thank you to Chris Crary who prepared exquisite meals for me and my social distancing colleagues. The property is exceptional and the massive outdoor spaces really helped to lower the Covid derived anxiety and concerns. I would be remiss in not recognizing the front desk who went above and beyond to get my Bernese Mountain Dog Stabler groomed after hours at the wonderful Collar and & Comb. I will return to this property as often as possible and I am working to plan a corporate event this summer. This hotel is a treasure, the perfect combination of passionate, pleasant and peaceful.
