Great boutique hotel, excellent location. My only criticism is that there is a little road noise and and the walls between rooms are a bit thin. A nespresso or a kettle with a daily tea and coffee offering would add so much to these lovely suite style rooms.

I was so pleased to stay at the Chamberlain for Christmas. It was like being home. The room was spotless and festive. The lobby was festooned with garlands! My room had a tree and garlands as well. So welcoming. Jasmine greeted me warmly, considering the lateness of my arrival, and quickly gave me the key to my room. She explained that coffee was available in the Lobby every morning as well as having a pot in my room.
Anthony and Haddis were the valets that took my car and retrieved it for me. They too made me feel special as they greeted me warmly and asked about my day. So nice to have someone take an interest in me, even though my stay was brief. A nice asset.
I also ate breakfast in the Chamberlain's cafe a few times. I kept ordering the breakfast burrito. Yummy. It was recommended by both Tara and Farouk. They advised me that it was large and could be shared. My companion and I took Tara's suggestion and shared one. Tara kindly brought the burrito sliced and on two separate plates, which we appreciated. We each had the grilled onion and pepper garnish. Both were attentive, bringing us water and coffee as soon as we sat down and refilling both without being asked. ,
All said and done, spending the holiday way from home I couldn't have picked a better place than the Chamberlain. The staff treated me warmly and were attentive. I even had hot chocolate in my room one morning! So fun!
I didn't bring workout clothes or a swimsuit so didn't have that experience.

This is our third visit, the first since the refurbishment and we loved the improvements. Loved the configuration of the living area and beds- great for a family of three. The happy hour with wine was a nice touch. We love the fact that it is a quiet residential location, practically next door to a Trader Joes but close to so many restaurants and shops. We've always been lucky arriving early to a room that is ready, very welcome after a 12 hour flight. Love the pool area and had brunch delivered up there by the most lovely young woman who worked in the restaurant. She also made perfect coffees for us two days in a row (we are particular about our coffee) I forget her name but she was lovely. Would be great to have a kettle to make a morning cup of tea .Cant wait to return, feel relaxed and calm just imagining it.

I wouldn't stay here again if the the room was free and I was paid! Tacky nickel and dime hotel that had no accountability for major mishaps during our stay.
#1 The egregious act of serving meat to a vegetarian in a pasta dish that listed every ingredient except the meat on their menu. How did they fix it?....brought me a bowling alley grade pizza 20min after they had served my boyfriend and after I had the horror of ingesting an animal.
#2 Valet crashes my car into a metal pole. Read the fine print carefully when you pay them $50 to park your car for the night. Apparently, you need to walk around your vehicle and inspect for damage before you pull away. Although I noticed the damage when I stopped for gas 10min after leaving the hotel it did not suffice and they will not be covering the damage because I had already left the hotel.
OLS has a reputation for quality hotels and that is why I recommend my boyfriend to stay at The Chamberlain. Never again! The way this incident was handled was so poorly you would've thought we were staying at a Motel 6.
Save yourself from this tasteless establishment and book elsewhere!!!

This hotel is perfectly located in quiet residential & apartment building neighborhood between Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood - a great location. Unfortunately, I was awake by 6:30am everyday because I could hear people talking in the rooms next door and they were NOT yelling. Also, when the room doors close, it is like a small earthquake. The roof top pool is a huge selling point but it was closed for a private afternoon party. An alternate pool in a hotel a few blocks away was offered but I did want to go that far when I was counting on the Chamberlains highly promoted pool.
My room with a balcony was spacious and comfortable. Great air conditioning and 2 large screen TVs. The hotel service was very good.
Unfortunately, I am not use to getting up by 6:30am and the pool unavailability really pissed me off. I was planning to hang out by the pool from 3-5 and then go to the Dodgers baseball game.
I might stay here again but bring ear plugs as long as the hotel can guarantee me that the pool will not be closed for a private party. After all, the homepage of their website prominently shows off the pool!

We stayed at this hotel from 30th to the 3rd and honestly this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in
Firstly on the first night we had a child above us constantly jumping around ,banging and running around there room which was very loud in our room. This started around 8pm for around 2 hours then it stopped and started again around 1am through till 3am
When we spoke to reception in the morning about our first sleepless night her reply was “ok they are checking out tomorrow !!!” Which my reply was so I have to put up with it for another night !! she then said she would have a word with them
On the second day we were out all day came back at 8pm and straight away the child was at it again we then went to reception and complained again , security arrived at our door asking if we were 416 clearly we were 306 as stated on the door. I asked him in to the room and said sort this noise out so off he went to the room upstairs and the noise stopped for an hour then started again around 9.30pm
And stopped around 10pm
Then to be woken up at 3am again to this child running around the room again , when I went down in the morning to complain again they said oh it’s ok they have checked out, not the fact I have had 2 sleepless night in the hotel.
Then when we were checking out and receiving my final bill , a meal in the restaurant that we signed for on our room was $270 with our signature and on their bill was $330 so an extra $50 added to the bill when questioned and asked for the signed bill by us, they couldn’t find it and said it had gone to account and they would check it out.
Anyways we sorted the bill out to which it would come of my credit card they then sent us an email saying they had taken $50 of the bill and the amenities which were an extra $45 per room per night for complimentary coffee ( not very complimentary as you pay for it)
We were not advised of this on check in, so be careful. They sent an email with the amendments which seemed ok on an email after the supposedly found the bill in accounts. only to check my credit card bill and they taken more money than the email states working out roughly $230 extra
Which I didn’t authorise , if you stay here be aware fir
3 days for my car to be parked at the hotel is $55 per night extra which you have no choice to pay as there is no parking outside the hotel anywhere.
We were paying the staff the tip cash and they were taking it, only to find out they added extra tips on the bill without you knowing after you signed for it. Maybe take a picture of every bill you sign.
Customer service is shocking if you are going to stay at this hotel make sure you bring ear plugs with you, worst 3 night stay of my holiday.
We Traveled from san Francisco to Monterey on to Santa Barbara to LA
I wouldn’t stay back here if it was free, customer service shocking, no other hotel put service charges on and their parking was $23 a night or free of charge. Be mindful these prices include no room service unless you request it! They also do not communicate well with management to sort issues out..

We just finished a one night stay here.
We had a King room, and it was spacious, clean, and lovely. Especially with the fireplace.
I liked how clean the hotel was (and smelled), and to see a staff member cleaning in the hallway, including wiping the tops of the picture frames, showed the attention to detail demonstrated in a clean facility.
Nice amenities.
Only reason for a 4 and not 5 rating, was the front desk staff felt a bit robotic and not really welcoming.
We had a King room, and it was spacious, clean, and lovely. Especially with the fireplace.

In addition to a great West Hollywood location, the Chamberlain offers well appointed, comfortable rooms and a daily wine hour. Since we only stayed one night, we didn’t eat in the restaurant. The rooftop swimming pool was closed for the winter, but I’m sure it would be a lovely amenity the rest of the year.

I endured a more than horrific experience at a near by hotel; due to their inadequate staff 48 hours later they still weren’t able to check me in due to a plethora of mistakes on their end. I came to the chamberlain with a pessimistic mindset just to be greeted by a more than welcomingly Emoloyee at the front desk; Ramesh. He was incredibly kind, compassionate, personable, but most of all he ensured that he would make my 3am check in a stress free one. Which he did impeccably. My only request was a room with a good amount of natural light . When I opened my room I was floored; he had surprised me, upgraded me to the most beautiful suite. I had payed for a basic room and this was FAR from basic. Then the following day I was upgraded to the nicest suite in the hotel a proper one bedroom apartment basically. With zero extra charge. You can’t beat the area. It’s as central as it gets. If you want a hotel in TRUE West Hollywood that you can literally walk to absolutely anything , fret not if you have a car though there is very secure gated parking in the hotel that leads you into the lobby from the back. This charming newly renovated hotel is very private. I love that. It’s not a cheesy Vegas flashy hotel with shoebox size rooms and rude staff like many on sunset nor unsafe like most in sketchy hollywood . My current room is truly like a dream apartment more than a hotel. From the massive flat screens in both bed and living rooms to a beautiful working fire place, tasteful furniture, a very private big outdoor balcony, work desk and station . Massive closets and storage. This room could literally sleep 5 people comfortably. There is a fully equipped business center with computers, printers, the works in the hotel, A gym. A lovely pool. I can’t say enough about how enjoyable my stay here has been. I can’t thank Ramesh enough for all of his hard work to help me gather what I needed to to check in. He patiently brainstormed and helped me find proper documentation to get me in. I don’t know what I would have done without him . Such a saint. The entire staff is truly lovely. I highly recommend The Chamberlain for a million reasons.

This hotel really turned around my stay in LA
I had booked with an online home stay site (you can guess which one) for my stay in LA for two nights for my 40th birthday. After finding the house rented was dirty and infested with cockroaches at midnight on my first night in LA I am searching for a West Hollywood hotels in my price point close by. The chamberlain came up with the best price so I booked as the reviews were good
Exhausted and devastated about my recent experience I arrived to a warm welcome from the night manager (at 1am). The hotel is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood and the lobby is clean, inviting and very elegant. The room was too and included a comfy king bed, huge tv and a fireplace. It was amazing
We got money to use towards food and beverage and did breakfast each day. The prices were Insane and you know it is because of the credits but it was really good. Free coffee is great too.
The rooftop pool is amazing. And my husband liked the gym as well. I must have mentioned upon check in about the horrible conditions we left at the house rental and the hotel had sent up a bottle of sparkling wine for my birthday. Classy touch. The front desk and food and beverage staff were very friendly and offered great service.
Even though the house rental site will not reimburse me so i had to pay double for my stay in LA, I would go here again in a heartbeat. I work in travel and will recommend this hotel to all my clients.

Pool was open In December... the pool bar is only open summer months but they will deliver to the pool area at other times.
It was cold and rainy when we were there so I'm not sure. My 16 year old daughter got in the pool, but she was just loungin. It's pretty small and shallow, I think!
I didn’t think the walls were thin at all! Like I said in my review, let the front desk know that you’re a light sleeper and they can accommodate to make sure your bedroom isn’t facing another room. Mine wasn’t :)
