Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Had to stay in Tustin for four days, so I picked the cheapest hotel I could find. I would have found a hostel if they had any in Tustin, but this was the only option. "How bad could it be?" I asked myself. The hotel answered my question pretty quick. Not only did the room smell weird, the carpets were greasy and my socks became black within just a few minutes of walking around. Trash and smashed glass(?) at the poolside. Oh, speaking of the poolside, my card refused to work on the pool gate, someone had to let me in. The water was dirty.
All in all, a little self vacation turned out to be a practice in patience and self-denial.

This is a value hotel that was ok for the most part. We had booked a room but had to switch to another shortly after getting settled. Had issues with the first room. The second room we stayed in had some serious pressure in the bathroom lol, every time I flushed the toilet, it felt like being in an airplane bathroom. Take a huge **** and it will be gone within seconds hahahaha. Sorry but it was that serious. Tub could have used a little fixing in the room we moved to (the first room must have been the "renovated" one but the pressure was very good. Might stay here again if something is quickly needed. Lots of stores in the surrounding area, starbucks and wendys across the street. I feel indifferent about this hotel so yeah.

Located right off the highway makes the Key Inn really accessible to both L.A., San Diego and Anaheim (Disney Land!!) However this means you can hear the traffic all night. The staff were ok, not fantastic but were quick and efficient. There was a pool but it was too cold to use it. However it did look clean and well cared for. Best thing- Right next to Dennys! Worst thing- The beds were SO small!

This is the worst hotel I have ever spent my night in. The rooms stink, a very dump, stale smell and yet they are supposed to me "smoke free". Better smoke than that awful smell which was coming from them. I have jitters when I remember this hotel's condition. I do not think the dark carpet has ever been washed, it made my clean feet black-greenish-no wonder they put dark carpets. I tried to put socks and within minutes they were terribly dark. The blankets and bed covers are dark brownish-you know why? To camouflage the dirt, stain and smell. On the hallways it is like we have some people who pee there, there were long dry stinky stain. Many of people who dwell and visit this hotel looks like they were under influence of something. Unless I got the worst of the worst rooms, this is a no go hotel unless you do not have any other choice. It is AWFUL, it should be removed from websites.

no towels were given on any day. no cleaning service. first room smelled so musty and had black mold on the ceiling of the shower. bad news had people living there long term. the next room was better no musty smell but worn out and beds were so cheap and uncomfortable. very bad stay. is being renovated so maybe in a year or two try it out.

We went as a couple, and with my hurt knees and my inability to go up and down stairs constantly, they provided a downstairs room....they didn't mention it had 2 twin beds that weren't able to be pushed together. The mattresses were so bad when you sat on one everything on the end rolled off, the springs were bent weird. Horrible blankets and sheets smelled like old mildew. To top it all off, the person upstairs left their bathtub on and overflowed , we were below them and had been charging tablets and phones in the bathroom plugs and 2 of the 4 items got water damaged and they wouldn't do anything about it....they said take photos which I had and sent to them and to this day over a year later, still nothing. Some of the staff was friendly, mostly the men. The women were horrible.

I had a lot of trouble with this place. Bugs, thugs, riffraff, meth heads and that wasn't the worst. The tv does not work and when speaking to the pretend manager Rocio I have come to find out she is a rude bitter lady with no respect or customer service. I think she should be fired. She curses and can't even speak without raising her voice. I have reported her to corp. and I have asked for my money back as this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed!

This was horrible. My mother and I were there for all but 3 hours. Dirty and mediocre room. Bedtime we pulled the comforter to find all this blood that hadn't been cleaned on the inside of the comforter. Hotel employees didn't care, very rude. Took them 20 minutes to send someone to change the sheets. We packed up and left. Went through hell to get refund. Luckily had American Express. Don't stay here. 2 miles away there are plenty of hotels near the airport. Much nicer and a variety of hotels and prices.
I sent letter with the photos I took of the blood to all parties to complain and take their hotel off sites such as Hotels.com.
TRUST ME....DONT STAY HERE!! UNSAINITARY AND DISTGUSTING.

This place was abominable. The first Non-Smoking room they tried to give us was utterly uninhabitable...and it sure seemed as if someone had been smoking (a lot) in the room within the past hour.
The second room they gave us was BARELY habitable...and had a totally and completely non-functional air conditioning unit. The furniture, fixtures and equipment would charitably be described as "tired." The room was loud.
If there were something positive to say about the place I would.
OK: it was the only place I could find availability within 20 miles of where I had to be.
All things considered maybe I should have stayed at home.

We made the mistake of booking 1 Thursday night here when we needed to have our house tented for termites. We were new to the area, and our house is in a nice neighborhood about 1 mile away. We thought it would be most convenient to take the kids to school from here, then we planned to go out of town after school ended Friday afternoon.
MISTAKE.
This place is a dump. Totally seedy. Totally sketchy people here. The room was GROSS, with thin walls and who knows what kooties on the surfaces. I've never regretted a hotel decision more and wished I would have booked at the Marriott just 2 miles away.
If you're looking for a dumpy motel because you're despondent or depressed, this is an appropriate venue from which to drown your sorrows. Heck, it might make you feel better about life, and you'll go home with new resolve and hope in the morning. But this is NOT a place to bring your spouse and children for a decent stay.
