We were there for a night, the location of the hotel is very convenient, right across the street from the Del Amo Shopping center, reasonably driving distance to the Redondo Beach, and there are tons of good food in Torrance & Redondo Beach areas.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room looks very nice and fresh, and it’s very clean. The view from the room looking over the city is beautiful too.

The lady checked me in was extremely friendly and grateful (i think her name is Natalie), she was also very efficient but also explained well what’s offering on the property in light of the pandemic.

One of the food outlets is open for breakfast, happy hour & dinner. You can scan the menu inside your room to complete the mobile order, and you can order for pick up (free) or they can delivery to your door ($5 delivery fee). I think there is some outdoor/patio seating available too.

We ordered 2 breakfast entrees, each entree comes with coffee or tea, & orange juice or apple juice or cranberry juice, & wrapped pastries, & a fresh fruit cup for $25. I would say the breakfast is very delicious & worthy.

The self parking is $28/day in a covered garage/parking structure.

The only thing we have to complain about is the internet/wifi, we had the enhanced wifi, however, it’s extremely slow, with only 3 ish mbps downloading & uploading speed. I hope they can fix that.

Other than the slow internet/Wifi, this is a great Marriott property, especially during the time of the pandemic, a lot of other Marriott hotels have been cutting back way to far. Will definitely coming back to this property next time.

My wife and I were on a Christian Marriage Conference, A Weekend to Remember (Family Life), and we were staying at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach. We had a great stay at the Marriott. We were in the newly remodeled rooms on the 12 floor. The room decor and bed were great. The bathroom was very modern but did not have a fan for some reason, but besides that, it was great as well.

The service from the staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. The Concierge Room breakfast was an added bonus. The service was great and it was a nice hot breakfast buffet style, along with other stuff like fresh fruit, pastries, etc...the only bummer was the $25 per night parking fee.

The pool and jacuzzi were also very nice and there were fire pits all over the place. They also had ping pong tables and large size chess pieces and board.

The location was also great. lots of places to eat and right next to the Del Amo Fashion Mall.

Needless to say, the wife and had an awesome weekend.

Stayed here for business. Booked a king room, but upon arriving was advised they only had 2 queens available. I am a Marriott Gold member and would have expected to at least got what was reserved. I didn't expect an upgrade, but I did expect a king bed.

All staff encountered in this trip were very nice, friendly, and welcoming.

I did enjoy the newly renovated rooms, especially the tile floors (which tile is much cleaner overall). However there were crumbs on the table and dried lotion on the outside of the lotion tube, which overall made the room not feel the cleanest.

I enjoyed breakfast in the lounge each morning, and I appreciated the trays in order to take the food to open tables outside. As well as the to-go coffee cups so I could take a cup with me to the office.

I had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant, which was fast, convenient, and a good overall selection. The outdoor tables overlooking the pool area were nice and quiet.

The parking garage never seemed busy and it was an easy in and out.

I will return because I frequent the area for business, I just hope I will get the room reserved and it is cleaned more thoroughly.

This hotel treated me like a second class guest, admitted it and now refuses to make it right.
I arrived at the hotel at 9pm on a Wednesday night to check in. I walk up to the counter, the front desk agent says "let me see what rooms I have left" and walks away into the back office. I wait for 20 minutes before he comes back out and tells me that there are no rooms ready at the time due to late checkouts. It's 9:20pm, checkout was at noon. I had two rooms booked and they offered me a single $75 gift card for the restaurant and ask me to wait 60-90 minutes. I figured okay, we'll wait. Two hours go by, they have one room ready. I give that room to my elderly parents because it is way past their bedtime, travelling is hard for them as is. I continue to wait in the lobby. It's midnight and while I'm waiting, a large group of air hostesses arrive. They are all given keys and checked in immediately. I sat and watched them all make their way up the elevators, no delays whatsoever. After they all leave, I walk to the front desk and ask them about what I just saw. The employee admits to me that they have contracts with these airlines and had to save the rooms for the air hostesses. No apologies. I am in disbelief and now I am furious. I finally am given a room that was dirty around 12:30am, 3.5 hours after I first arrived at the hotel.
Next morning, I speak to a manager and she apologizes, changes my room and promises to refund my money for that first night. That was on April 14, it is now May 16. I called Expedia to find out about the refund and Expedia tells me that the hotel is denying the refund. I have yet to call the hotel myself but I just wanted to let everyone know that you could be bumped for not being part of a large corporate group. Beware, this hotel does not value or treat all guests the same.

We appreciated the weekend stay at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach hotel. We had a family wedding and my wife was scrabbling to get her hair and make up done. We were lucky the hotel was located just across from Nordstrom to get her make up setup. There was also a spa at the mall that gave here a complete make over for her hair. In the meantime, I was in my room, relaxing and preparing my suite for our trip to the wedding. We had a basic King room that was excellent. The next day, we enjoyed getting coffee at the Starbucks located in the hotel lobby and we treated 12 family members to fantastic breakfast at the hotel's 21 Square Bar and Kitchen. Overall, the service was good, our room allowed us to relax, and we enjoyed our stay at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach hotel.

We decided to do a staycation during a heat wave. This review solely has to do with the check in process. We went at 3:45 which was around the standard check-in time and when we arrived, the check-in line was huge. Then when we finally get to the front desk they say our room is not ready. When I asked when it would be ready, the staff said 45 minutes. The lobby and restaurant was packed because everyone else was also waiting for their rooms as well. Definitely not enough space to social distance. Then after an hour I got back in line because I had not heard from them and they said the room was still not ready and could not give me a time when it would be ready. So we go to the bar and have a drink and an appetizer we go back again at 615 and still not room and they told us to come back around 7:00pm. At around 645 I got the call saying my room is ready. The front desk did not apologize or explain what the hold up was. They did not offer anything special like free dinner or breakfast. They extended everyone’s check out time by an hour but we had a place to be in the morning, so we did not benefit from that. I don’t understand why the could not have been upfront with me and said it may be a few hours, we would have left and come back way later. I had already turned my car in at valet, which closed at 4:00pm.

The staff was respectful and patient and I know it wasn’t their fault there was a hold up in the rooms, it was just frustrating that they would not give a definite answer. I ran into some friends later and they said they checked in at 3:00 and at around 8:00 had still not heard about a room.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was nice to have AC.

The stay was acceptable. We had a room on the top floor. It was very quiet and the room was mostly well kept. It had large windows and a small balcony. The view of the city was nice. The issue with the room was the sink water had a sewer smell. It was unsettling. I didn't drink the water or brush my teeth with it as a result. The shower did not have the smell.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were helpful when we had an issue with parking. make sure you tell them upon check in that you have a car to park so they can activate your parking.

The pool was nice well kept. It was fairly busy in the afternoon. We were surprised to see someone eating in it but we did not blame the hotel for that.

The lounge is still closed which at this point seems to be too late. There is a starbucks on premises which was convenient.

It's a shame that we only had to stay here for the night to sleep, since we're only crashing for the night after a big family event day. It was the closest available hotel we found that is close to the other family members who booked another Marriott hotel nearby.

We checked in at around 9pm and checked out way early the next day, so we never really got a chance to check out the grounds. But the lobby is impressive.

We have in our Marriott profile that we want a high floor with a view, in a quiet area. We got that and more. The fact that this was a Marriott points is impressive.

It's across the street from the famous Del Amo Mall, so food, entertainment, and shopping is aplenty.

Since we will frequent LA often in the foreseeable future, we will not hesitate coming back here again.

I relocated due to work in the area, from out of State. I chose this particular Hotel because of the location. Beautiful renovated rooms, with balcony and great view of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, no carpet :) Loved our room. Housekeeping was excellent! All of them are detailed and so sweet! I have nothing but the best to say about them. Every day I had what I needed! Peter, their Director of Housekeeping, made sure I have my usual drop for my room. The Valet gentlemen so prompt!
Coming from the industry myself, I immediately recognised the wonderful Staff! Armando, Luis, Ariana, Hortencia Patrick F&B Manager and Silver the Master of Front Desk! From Their Starbucks, Dana and Scott are just Super! You should ask for the Majestic Scott/ coffee!:) Trust me just ask for that!!!
Silver was especially excellent for me. He was my Mr. Bond! Such a knowledge he has about the rooms the area the location!
I travel with my Service Animals and we always felt so at ease, which made us feel calm Safe and appreciated. Silver knew exactly what I needed and how and when, he went above and beyond to make my long stay, while getting our house ready, feel like home. Loved his sense of humour.
We all felt so comfortable!
That welcoming feeling that every time I walked through their doors, I felt like I knew them for ever! All of them with a genuine smile!

The secret in Hospitality is to anticipate the needs of the Guest! THAT is Excellence! That’s Forbes!
And those team members, know exactly how to make that happen. Luis is super sophisticated and so accommodating, Hortencia always with her amazing smile and warm demeanour ready to answer all your questions. Ariana is lovely and quick to make things happen. Armando knows what to suggest and what would be best suitable. Thank you Patrick for accommodating my dietary needs!!

I have been to many hotels in my life, all over the world. And I have encountered some great experiences and some not so great attitudes from some. But when I walk through the doors of this Marriott, I feel happy and loved! That’s rare!
BRAVO and THANK YOU!!!
