Staying at the Georgian was an absolute pleasure. The first impression walking through those double doors is that the Georgian takes you back to the 1930s/1940s. It’s got a charm unlike any other hotel I’ve been to. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was decorated to perfection. You can just tell someone was really paying attention to detail decorating the room. I also tried the restaurant in the lobby for dinner, and the food was exquisite. The uni was fresh, the focaccia was warm and crunchy, steak was cooked to a perfect medium temperature. Overall it was the best stay in Santa Monica.

Just returned from an amazing stay at the Georgian. This great hotel was the perfect home base for our recent trip. A wonderful, exhausting trip for the Taylor Swift concert.
The location is excellent. It's a short walk to the pier, third street shopping, dozens of excellent restaurants, the beach, etc. We didn't rent a car but were able to walk to the metro station, rode bicycles to Venice Beach, and took a few Ubers when needed.
The main hotel restaurant was delicious. We ate there for breakfast and lunch. You know it's good when many of the people dining are not hotel guests, many local residents coming for the atmosphere and food.
The hotel itself is wonderful. It is very charming and has character. The beds are very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Our room was not huge (we did not have a suite) or a good view (just a parking lot) but had good air conditioning and was comfortable. Next time, I'd spend a bit more for a view.
All this was great but what made the Georgian really stand out was the staff. Tiffany reached out to us prior to our arrival and made every effort to accommodate our need for an early check in. Everyone was pleasant, attentive, and friendly. They were always greeting us and making sure our stay was going well.
All in all, it was a great stay at the Georgian and Santa Monica and are dreaming of when we can return. Thanks for everything!!!

The experience was excellent from start the finish ! From the moment i pulled up to valet i was immediately warmly greeted and taken inside swiftly to check in with all my luggage .The gals at the reception area immediately offered me water and proceeded to check me in so quickly and with much care . The room was gorgeous the king ocean view was just stunning esthetically and i loved the little touches like the Marshall speaker and the handheld steamer came in such handy ! The bed was beyond comfy just perfect. I had such a lovely evening and the same throughout my entire stay , i can’t wait to return .

The Georgian hosted our business team of 12 for a corporate retreat this week.
Every single detail was thoughtful, perfect, and personalized to our group, down to handwritten notes in each person's room!
The rooms themselves are gorgeously renovated and extremely comfortable, and the hotel's location across from the pier and close to downtown Santa Monica is ideal. I felt very at home in the hotel and my guests expressed that they did, too.
The sales team was incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout the planning process, and I wouldn't hesitate to plan a retreat or event with them again.

We booked our stay at the Georgian for a weekend getaway, wanting comfort, quiet and a great view. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. How about a glass of champagne while you complete the check-in process? Yes please! Everyone was kind, professional and accommodating. Our suite had a majestic look of the ocean and every comfort needed to enjoy a weekend (a plush robe, slippers, large tv in the living room and quiet). Even with the hotel being located along a main street, the room was perfectly quiet. The bed was large and comfy and we enjoyed sitting on the couch and relaxing after a day of hanging out at the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance including a top notch restaurant and bar located within the hotel. It's located directly across from the Santa Monica Pier, the beach and just a few blocks away from the 3rd street Promenade for shopping. Whether you want to stay in and watch a movie or venture out on the town, the Georgian is a great option for locals or vacationers.

The Georgian was our pick for the last night of a luxurious girls’ trip. It was the perfect place for our last hurrah. The front desk welcomes you with Prosecco and everywhere you turn , a friendly staffer is asking if you need anything. Our room was on the 3rd floor and right next to the elevator. Normally, that would be a recipe for too much noise, but it was so quiet we were able to sleep with h our window open. And because of the location, we were able to see the ocean from the window. The amenities were great. The mini bar had excellent offerings and even the ice bucket was a thing of beauty, to say nothing of the beds and the bathroom and the bathrobes and slippers. Every detail was well thought out. We also enjoyed appetizers in the restaurant, late night drinks at the bar and oceanfront breakfast. They added my requested goat cheese to my perfect soft scrambled eggs . The fruit plate was a work of art ( as was the vegetable crudite the afternoon before). The only thing I would change is the yogurt and granola on the room service menu is not available in the restaurant. But other than that, there is nothing I would change other than staying more nights! We spent a lot of time deciding where to stay on this trip and we that research paid off. I can’t wait to come back.

The Georgian Hotel and it’s team delivered the absolute best experience beyond our wildest expectations. The definition of excellence shined through within the beautiful historic Santa Monica beach views!
The ease and comfort of our stay was bliss to the highest standard leaving an echoing smile on our teams faces from a welcome champagne upon arrival, and the checkout that we all wanted to never happen because we truly wanted to never leave. The design and comforts transport you to feeling inclusive of something truly special.
Bre Smith was on top of all our needs while our BERLUTI team hosted a week long seminar of meetings and local experiences from our team visiting from LA, NYC, Paris. We loved the alo yoga brand partnership and riding bikes on the beach at sunset.
Our dining taste buds are still tingling with excitement from being hosted on the terrace for delicious brunches and having well crafted cocktails and celebratory cheers in the allure of their beautiful Georgian Room speakeasy.
Many thanks to Jon, Nico, Bre, Allen, Tiffany, Chef David, Devin, Josh, Jerom, and Jordan who gave their passion for hospitality at the highest standard! And with ease of execution and kindness.
The local recommendations they provided were the point of impertinence that makes all the difference when someone visits a new city to discover.
We are still in amazement of their defined customer service and am beyond grateful for making this the best hotel experience our team has ever enjoyed globally.

As soon as you pull up to the property, you're instantly welcomed by a friendly valet and bellhop. The property went through a recent renovation, and it was breathtaking! The property was built in the 30's and was able to be restored in a modern tone, while maintaining the integrity of that era. I had the privilege to stay in one of the suites and the look and feel of it held true. The beds were extremely comfortable, the towels plush, and the toiletries were top-notch. They put a lot of thought into having all the amenities in the room fit with the motif of the entire property. I was able to have my GF come up and they provided us with a perfect view of the sunset on their dining patio. From the Hostess to our waiter, the service was met with a smile and enthusiasm. I always asked for the menu items they suggest. Starting from the aperitif to the appetizer, our main course, digestif, and finally dessert; everything was incredible. The constant checking up from the hostesses, waiters, and even the upper management staff to make sure everything was going well, and we had everything we needed, was refreshing. The Head Chef even made a stop at our table to ask us about our meal. It was an amazing stay but wouldn't have been half of that without the staff and support team of the Georgian. I was sad to leave, but I hope to make it back here soon. I'd like to personally thank everyone during my amazing stay, I don't want to drop a bunch of names, just in case I might miss someone or have forgotten their names, but please know that as inviting, warm, and comfortable the stay was, it was the staff that made the stay EXCEPTIONAL!

The Georgian Hotel goes above and beyond for their guests from the moment you walk through their doors until you check out. This is our first time in Santa Monica and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. This hotel is not only stunning and located in the best part of the city, but the food + drinks are phenomenal, the coastal timeless vibe is unmatched and the staff is exceptional in every way possible. Rooms are so clean and well designed, I love that they kept some parts original which makes this hotel even more unique. The attention to details is unlike any hotels I've ever stayed at.
