I would give this hotel 5 stars if it was not for a couple of issues.

We travelled with 3 kids including a 1 year old toddler.

1) When we were checking in the front desk employee told us they had no more baby cribs left. When I asked her what should we do and where would our baby even sleep, she just said "I don't know, I can give you a refund and you can go to a different hotel". This was at 10 pm at night, with 3 kids with us. I had to google stores in the area myself with no help from said employee and find a Walmart nearby, luckily they had one pack n play left and my husband barely made it there in time before they close. We talked to the general manager about this issue the next day, and he gave us parking refund. Still, it was a super stressful check in experience. If we went to Walmart just 10 minutes later, it would have been closed, and I have no idea where our baby would have slept.

2) We got to the room and it had no bathtub. No tub to bathe our 1 year old. I called the front desk and was told there are no tubs in the hotel except for a couple of double bed suites. Nowhere during the reservation process on their website does it say that there are no bathtubs in the hotel. We booked a King suite and it gave us options between "king accessible ADA compliant shower only" and "king", we assumed regular King had a tub. Nope.

3) I got dinner for the kids at the hotel restaurant downstgairs and they managed to even screw that up. Instead of grilled cheese sandwiches from the kids menu they gave us grilled chese sandwiches with steak. Just cheese and steak, for some reason. Of course, the kids did not eat them, and we had to toss them. When we went downstairs for a drink with my husband later, I told the lady who took my order about this screw up. She just laughed and said "oh well you got a more expensive item". Next day we all went there for dinner, and I ordered a grilled cheese again, from the same lady. You would think she would offer it for free since she messed it up the night before. Nope.

Overall, the hotel is renovated/new, offers good value for the money, free breakfast. This is our second time staying at a Hilton property in that area, and probably will be the last. Our first time was in Hilton across the street from Universal, and the customer service there was even worse. When you travel with children, all the extra stresses add up to one ruined vacation.

Response from EmbassyValenciaGM, General Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Valencia
Responded 3 Feb 2024
Your recent experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Valencia, which you've shared, is concerning. We acknowledge that, as a family traveling with young children, ease and comfort should be primary. We regret any inconvenience regarding the baby crib and bathtub situation. Our team should have shown proactiveness in tackling the issue and assisting in finding alternatives. It's also regrettable to see the misunderstanding concerning the food order at our restaurant. We believe that communication is key in these situations and that our colleagues should be diligent in ensuring guest satisfaction. On a more positive note, we're glad you found value in terms of our renovation and complementary breakfast. We strive to provide a stress-free stay, particularly for families, and it seems we fell short this time. We truly appreciate your feedback and remain hopeful that we can restore your faith in Hilton properties.

We stayed 4nights, we loved the customer service so much that we decided to return to this establishment for business.
Pros:
1. Suites with separate bedroom
2. Awesome customer service
3. Free Parking
4. Safe Location
5. Enjoyed their breakfast
6. People shouldn't complain about housekeeping during Covid-19, be more understanding, you are also getting a great deal during pandemic, and you can always request for clean. If you needed more towels, you can always request, they will deliver asap to your door. Love their service.

Con:
1. The information says, this establishment is recently renovated, I think we already saw its aging, the shower curtain rack is getting rusty.... The carpets, maybe needs upgrade...

However, we love it and will return next month for 3 nights.

Hotel was very close to Six Flags Magic mountain and very convenient! No major traffic to deal with getting to the park. Breakfast was delicious The best hotel breakfast we've ever had! Full breakfast omelettes, eggs to order, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and a whole separate section for pastries and fruit if you're in a hurry! The room was quiet, clean and had a nice big bathroom. The separate living area was great with kiddos!
My only small complaint would be the feather pillows. Next time we will ask for foam! A great stay in CA.

I was in room 424 which was very dirty and dingy. The entire walk from the elevator down the hall to the room the carpet was stained and the whole way stunk. Even the sofa cushions were mismatched. The air conditioning in the room was not only super loud it blew very strong in the bedroom to where it was freezing and the rest of the room was warm. Also the Wi-Fi never reached above two megs and I had to use my phones hotspot for zoom calls. I would appreciate some kind of response from the hotel or credit and I would suggest that if you were going to stay in that area you investigate some of the other properties

The location is good and convenient and we have stayed there as a family 3 times in recent years. The quality has gone down is the best I can say. The room was in poor shape, not clean, and non functioning bathroom fixtures. I called the front desk, and it just rang and no answer the evening of arrival, I just let it go since this was only an overnight for the kids and I, and it was not worth trying to repack and change rooms late in the evening. The best I can say is that they did discount the room the next morning as compensation, but non working bathroom fixtures are a problem, dirty is a problem. I will shop around for a another stay location next time.

Hello lars90274, I am sorry that you felt your stay was less than satisfactory. I will definitely pass on the info about the fixtures in the bathroom and the unclean room. This is definitely not our standard and I truly hope you would consider giving us another chance to show you that we do strive much higher than this!

This was a pleasant 7 day stay in Valencia. Very close to Six Flags. Front desk was very helpful when I wanted to apply my new Hilton Card to this stay. I checked in on line and did not receive a notification of the room being ready. I then checked in and I was put in a different room and was comped the $12/day parking during my stay… generous.

The atrium lobby area was very nice. Breakfast was very good, especially the made to order omelets. The evening reception was popular with a list of 5-6 complimentary drinks and included light snacks. The outdoor pool is well kept. A couple chase lounges have seen better days and were ripped and often times there were no pool towels available, outside.

For the most part, the room worked. It did show its age as the walls and furniture were banged up. I could not find a way to adjust the thermostat and it was always set at 70 degrees, but that was fine. The walls in our room were thin and I could hear muffled conversations from the room next to us and running/thumping from the room directly above us. We were exhausted from daily activities and did not have a problem sleeping.

My daughter accidentally left a small stuffed bear when we checked out. Called lost and found, but it was never found. She is nearly positive she left it on the bed.

For the most part a good stat with the convenience of being within 30-60 minutes of all things LA/Hollywood.

My family and I stayed at this hotel last week and the carpets were horrible. Stained and dirty. The pull out sofa had a dirty torn smelly blanket which was to be taken out of the room by a staff member. Never happened. The walls were scuffed and dirty and one bed seemed to have been slept in and the bedding not changed. The bottom sheet was pushed to the end of the bed. The front desk staff were like soldiers. Never got, "I am sorry." The breakfast appeared to be cooked in oil that has been reused often. Horrible taste. We were not offered to be moved or asked what will help us with these issues. We did not get any sleep as people were running up and down the hallway all hours of the night. Slamming doors and knocking on doors. Very poor customer service. The gm would make a difference if they would address this. Not a good place for families. The gm gave us 15% off the first night due to the blanket. We wanted our room to be changed or at least have housekeeping clean the room. Customer service and safety issues surely needs to be taught to this team of employees. Definitely not happy and very surprised at Hilton. We tried loading photos but this site will not allow them.

Stayed here because it was close to Valencia Country Club, came for the Lorena Ochoa event. Checking in was a breeze and the customer service great, they offer 2 free alcoholic drinks or non-alcoholic during happy hour between 5pm-7pm. They also offer snacks; goldfish, carrots, celery, ranch, chips, salsa and nacho cheese. It wasn’t much but it was great knowing we didn’t expect it. We had plans with friends for dinner, if we didn’t already make reservations, I would’ve stayed for dinner.
Stayed on the 4th floor room 413, came in clutch since it was an ADA room and my partner would have had a hard time getting in and out of the tub, since our other friends were also in the hotel (I personally suggested) I noticed how much bigger our room was!
Missing a star because the breakfast could have been better, I noticed the chafing dishes were new but why wasn’t the food hot? I did like the create your own omelet station which came with bacon and hashbrown again, food could’ve been hotter. Great service from the cooks!
Also, there was an odd smell in the hotel, other than old and outdated lol but it came on very strong.
Lastly, this hotel has ample parking, they must get people leaving their car over night because they charge $12 for parking.

My room wasnt ready to check in at 530pm! Check in is at 4pm and the front desk person said he needs to call room service to check if they cleaned it. He called (but I really think he faked it) and he said it was ready. Got to the room, and saw that there was hair all over the bathroom floor. Was not in the mood to complain, so wife just cleaned it. The beds were made, so that was the important part as kids were tires from six flags. Me and the wife went downstairs and tried to relax at the bar. My kids call me a few minutes later asking where the towels were. I went to the front desk and told then same man that we needed towels. He said that he would send someone up in a few. I said we needed them now as one of my kids was already in the shower and we didnt have not even one towel....or even those tiny little towels. I asked where I could just walk and get them and he told me to wait for room service. I couldnt wait, so I went to the pool area, saw a room attendant and she gladly gave me the towels needed. Nobody ever did end up going to my room to deliver towels. Front desk didnt know I got them myself.

The hotel was clean. The staff was exceptional. The restaurant staff never stop, they do so with the utmost level of customer service. The breakfast cook was impressive, doing her job and singing, and made excellent omelets. I loved the atmosphere. The breakfast bar area was always fresh and the staff were very pleasant and attentive.

The icing was that I left my handbag on the chair in the restaurant (no alcohol involved) and went to the room. I hadn't missed it, until the phone rang informing me they had the handbag at the front desk. The bartender explained they opened the wallet to identify the owner, did so with the manager and under the camera. So impressed with the care and caution to ensure there would be no issues. 10 stars!!!!
