Staff is super unfriendly, unorganized, and not helpful. We went to swim at 7:45 pm and there were no towels, so I asked the front desk and one lady with a very bad attitude told housekeeping went home for the night (what kind of housekeeping in a hotel goes home?!) and then she told me there are no towels for the rest of the night. No towels for your room, for the pool, no extra blankets, nothing. Breakfast was just super busy and not good. Parking was a nightmare and barely had any open spots. Left my keys there and they were very unhelpful, telling me “only one specific person has a key to the lost and found, not even the manager” (bull crap). They also declined my call when they told me to call back in 30 minutes to check and I did, they declined my call twice so I used my boyfriends phone and they answered. Very rude staff and horrible stay. The beds are also super uncomfortable and the pull out couch feels like you’re sleeping on springs and they have no extra padding anymore so we had to double up blankets. 0/10, would never stay again. Waste of money

Be prepared to pay $20 for parking.

We flew into Long Beach airport on a Friday afternoon and took a relatively short ride (even in traffic) to this hotel. Large spacious atrium was welcoming as was the large suite room.

Hallways, rooms, pool and gym a bit dated but for one-night it was more of an observation. There were several school and sports teams staying overnight as well. I was impressed by the amount of breakfast meals they served with food being refreshed and tables cleaned constantly.

Very pleasant staff - easy on/off to highway - and good value for the overnight.

We spent 2 nights in this Embassy Suite and we extremely disappointed.
Let start with the positive point: the bed is very confortable. The room furniture is quite outdated but considering the affordable room rate, it was acceptable even if found our room smaller then some other Embassy Suites.
Because of the COVID, we knew that we will have no manager reception, no indoor pool or fitness center and that the buffer breakfast will be replaced with a “box”.
We didn’t knew that those boxes were only available up to 8:30am so we missed the first day breakfast. When complaining about those limited hours, the receptionist expressed absolutely no concern at all and couldn’t care less about our frustration. How hard could it be for the management of this hotel to keep some breakfast boxes at the reception for those who want breakfast after 8:30?
Beside this breakfast story, we had booked a so called “Premium room” that is supposed to come with premium wifi, drinks and snacks in the fridge but we got none of that. Is COVID really the officiel excuse for not adding a can of Coke, a bottle of water or a bag of chips in the room?? Bottom line, we paid extra for absolutely nothing.
I used to stay at Hilton family hotels all the time but this stay made me seriously rethink my selection.

Swift check in. We arrived early and it wasn't a problem, we could go to our room straight away, which we were grateful for. Such a spacious suite. We even had a little balcony. Enjoyed the indoor hot tub and swimming pool. Really tasty breakfast and you could see just how hard the staff were working.

We are devoted Hilton fans but were underwhelmed by our recent stay at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana.
(1) The bathroom fan could not be turned off. We were told the fan could not be turned off by us. Engineering could turn it off for the stay but then we would have to deal with the humidity after showers. We were told the fans were forced on to avoid mold because the hotel had had mold in the past.
(2) The heat in the room was overbearing and could not be adjusted - it was like a sauna. We were told we could have the heat turned off complete but it could not be turned down. As a result, we had to leave the door wall open to be able to bear the heat in the room. We turned the thermostat off in the room but it did not help.
(3) When we had issues with getting bath towels on 12/28, the staff lied to me and told me the towels were being delivered in the next few minutes (after sheets were delivered to another room). The staff knew they didn't have fresh towels to deliver but did not tell me the truth so I could have an honest expectation of how long I needed to wait. We observed other customers at the desk complaining they did not have linens (sheets or towels) every time we walked through the lobby).
(4) The breakfast service was chaotic - there were not enough servers, beverage stations, etc. We observed up to 40 people in line for the omelet station. By the time we went through the buffet line, our food was cold by the time we were able to get coffee. The toasters are either broken or set too low because I had to put bagels through 4x to get them properly toasted. The food quality was the worst of any Hilton I've ever stayed at - and that is extensive given my lifetime Diamond status.
(5) The refrigerator dial to cool the refrigerator was broken so we were only able to get our food mildly cool.
(6) There was no manager on premises during the weekend at any time. We asked and were told by the desk, no manager would return until Monday.

Dear sschanta, Thank you for taking the time to share your candid and detailed review. This is excellent as it provides us with vivid insight and specific points our team can work to tweak and better for an overall improved guest experience. It truly disappoints us to hear your stay did not go as smoothly as we had intended. We only want the best for our valued guests and members, and clearly we missed the mark this time. We've shared the key points you highlighted with our team to use as training tools and step up our service delivery. We will continue to focus our efforts, and we hope the next time you are in the area you will allow us a second chance to deliver the stay you deserve.

Hotel stay was pleasant room is clean but was non-smoking. However our room was by an open emergency exit door for smokers to utilize, So unfortunately the room did smell as if it was a smoking room. We did pay 3 dollars extra each night for a balcony room. If your going to stay here I would recommend any one of their customers pay the extra money for the upgrade. The hotel room was comfy and if your traveling with family or little kids this hotel is the way to go. All rooms have a separate living room w a sofa bed for extra travelers that have accompanied you or even the littles. The breakfast was amazing like always with so many options. That helps so this way all kids and travelers get to eat what they like buffet style and eat until they’rlittle heats are content. Also this hotel puts on an amazing happy hour for customers to come and socialize and have a drink and a snack. Breakfast and happy hour are one of the main perks for staying with Embassy suites. I personally don’t mind paying a little more money to get good quality customer service. The male manager was very polite and helpful. I also liked that the pool stayed open till the 11:00pm. The only down fall I had with this hotel is the parking fee. It’s 21 dollars a night so be prepared to pay that fee as well. Other then that this hotel was priced reasonable and well worth the money.

My family and I stayed here for three weeks during a home renovation project. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. We felt unappreciated and unwelcome the entire time, like we were a nuisance. Bring your own toilet paper because they will only bring you one small roll per day (even for a family of five) if they bother to answer the phone or remember your request. All amenities are closed. Beware-they charge you a $100 deposit per night of your stay. We were there so long they were actually holding as much money in incidentals as we paid for our entire stay. The laundry room is broken. They have multiple washers and dryers, but during our 3 weeks there, we could only find one washer that worked one time. If you ask for the manager to solve your problem, don’t expect anything other than rudeness and a really bad attitude. My suggestion is find a different hotel to stay. Embassy Suites is not worth it.

The room was dirty and in bad shape. Basic housekeeping not done, gross around the toilet, floor dirty, carpet peeling. Rooms do not have their own A/C or heating. Hot breakfast ran out of clean plates, butter/cream cheese, toast, milk. PICK A DIFFERENT HOTEL

Horrible, terrible stay. Mold in the bathroom, window was drafty so cold air kept blowing into the master bedroom all night. Safe was never unlocked, so we couldn’t utilize it. Phone wasn’t plugged in, had no wires. Room was not vacuumed, paper was left on the floor, trash was left in the room. I told the front desk not to send anyone up to the room to fix issues; we were going down for a nap, but engineering knocked once then came into the room!! My mother-in-law wasn’t dressed! I said no, they had 6 hours to fix the issues and chose not too! So many problems and the staff kept promising to get a resolution and call me back, but never did. I guess I was too difficult, so I was passed on to Blake, since nobody else can make decisions. Blake was supposed to call me and let me know if he could do anything else for me, never called me. I was given a free night, which is nice but I still told the front desk Blake needs to call me and see if there was anything else he could do. I don’t expect the whole stay to be free, but we need to have a conversation.  I will never stay at this property again, and I will make sure I post this on Trip Advisor and all the other apps I can think of. Stay away from this property. Pay the extra $10-$15 per night somewhere closer to Disneyland or wherever your trip is taking you. Pictures provided to show mold, window, etc.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel several times before and had a great experience in the past so when deciding to go to California we all chose this hotel. This hotel has changed drastically since the last time we stayed here. We did the online check in so we could skip the front desk and went directly to our room, they didn't provide us with enough wash cloths and towels for everyone in the our family that was listed on the reservation, we also tried to use the safe which was also locked and there was someone else's hair in the bathtub....Makes you wonder if they even cleaned the room at all. The air conditioning was a 69 degrees, without any way of changing the air conditioning in your room even though you have a thermostat on the wall in your room . Their solution was giving you a heater or turning off the air completely in the room. I had a little one with us on this vacation and she was shaking it was completely unacceptable and surprised Hilton wants to be apart of all this. We also noticed no matter what time of day people just hang out with the security guide in the parking lot which seemed rather unusual. We packed all of our belongings and checked out of this hotel. We will NEVER stay at the property again and Hilton should do themselves a favor and sell this dump!

Mario, Thank you for your question. Yes! We do have offerings available to meet your needs. At our complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, I would point you towards our custom omelet station with over 16 ingredients and cooked in front of you by our chefs; also towards the fresh whole and sliced fruits. In the Sweet Spot Sports Bar & Grille, we also have a selection of gluten free entrees as well. Just look for the wheat free icons next to the dish's name. We look forward to having you stay with us and appreciate the opportunity to meet your dietary needs.

Good Morning Ken, Thank you for contacting the Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Ana - Orange County Airport North. Package prices vary depending upon dates stayed at the hotel. I would check out our "Get It All Free" package under the special offer section of the hotel's web page. This package includes nightly parking and premium wifi internet access with your room rate. As for local attraction tickets, Embassy Suites does have a special link on their Things To Do page that will allow you to purchase Disneyland Resort tickets online. This is a great feature and will save you time by already having your tickets in hand at the park! Ken, thank you again for reaching out to us and we look forward to having you as our guest. Warmest Regards, Timothy Wagner Assistant General Manager
