Very clean accommodations. Came here for a family vacation. First time here while other family members were returning guest. Very friendly staff always willing to help. Stayed in studio apartment. Will come back again.
Vegetation surrounding Embarc is amazing. Beautiful resort with all the amenities Pool is wonderful with lighting in the evening. Love the ambience. The outdoor fireplace is an added plus in the evening.
This resort has non-traditional design features that are not found at traditional timeshares. Let's start with an outdoors shower. Don't worry, it's still private with a locked door to access the outside patios. There are few organized activities, but the location is close to the...More

Like most respondents here, I go to Palm Desert for golf, but I agree with the suggestions of: 1. taking the gondola up to the near-top of San Jacinto, and hike up there (although keep in mind that the temperature can be 40 - yes, forty - degrees cooler up top)... or 2. read up on Joshua Tree National Park, and pick a portion to walk there (keep in mind that it can be really HOT in the park, and Joshua trees provide almost zero shade!) There's quite a fascinating section of rock croppings in the middle of the drive through the park that you might find very appealing to hike through. Regardless of which of many options you choose, you'll love Palm Desert, and the Embarc resort.
