I arrived late on a dark and rainy night and I thought it was hard to find because it’s tucked back around some other buildings and things were not well lit. This is an older hotel but well maintained. Just what you expect from a Holiday Inn. Room was comfortable and clean. I honestly did not spend much time there but it was a fine experience. I forgot the Holiday Inn doesn’t provide a free breakfast but there is a Starbucks right nearby so it all worked out.

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed at this hotel, the end of February, and again at the end of March. I stayed here because it was a great connecting hotel with the airport. I would like to comment on the staff. Everyone who works at this hotel is top notch. I appreciated the service of everyone. Everyone with whom I interacted is kind, caring, understanding of the needs of the traveler. I really appreciate all of you. Traveling can be stressful. Having wonderful people like you to help me during traveling times is invaluable. Everyone who works at this hotel is a valuable member to the Holiday Inn company. Again, the compassion and cheerfulness with which I was treated needs to be appreciated. And I do. Thank you All.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast didn’t start till six and was not worth the extra $32 dollars we paid. We needed an early breakfast due to an early flight. My husband was told breakfast started at 5 am. Shuttle service is only in the mornings. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

At first glance it seemed like a normal hotel, the staff was really nice and attentive. As well as the main restaurant server. We had to move rooms because there was a large crack in the tile of the bathroom floor that felt insecure which is concerning because it was the ADA accessible suite. In my spouse's words the bathtub felt like it was made of paper mache. Most disappointing of all, later the day we checked out I realized I was bitten by bedbugs on both legs despite having worn pajamas pants at night.

I'm very shocked at how the hotel handled our situation this poorly. Don't think I've ever seen this level of incompetence in hospitality. Check this out: Our group of 3 checked in at 3AM after our concert ended and were assigned to room 408. But when we swiped into the room, THERE WAS ALREADY A GROUP IN THERE. They said the room was theirs and they'd been there all day. Still completely shell-shocked from walking in on a bunch of STRANGERS, we went back to the front desk and let the receptionist know. He says the primary guest already checked in earlier today, and that this room belonged to both of us. Disclaimer, the primary guest is my friend, and he made the booking on my behalf. He was just as confused as I was when I mentioned this to him. So basically, we're told nothing could be done. We gave up and slept in the car that night. The next day, I call the hotel and tell Cynthia (the general manager) about this unacceptable experience. About how the hotel gave away our room to strangers, made no effort to fix it, and still took the certificate we used. She promised to investigate with her team and get back to me. Here's where it gets good. Guess what the result of her investigation was? "We have no idea"! They don't know how those strangers got into the room, who assigned them, how the front desk didn't know that the room was full. Nothing. Now here's the best part. Her solution? To refund the points we used to book the room. That's it. Nothing for making us stumble into a room full of strangers (which is a huge disrespect to them and us). Nothing for GIVING OUR ROOM AWAY and stranding us for the night. And when I asked about this, Cynthia's (the general manager) response was "What do you want me to give you? Our money??" Cynthia, we're asking you to simply find a resolution that fits the error. In this case, your team gave our room away. A refund isn't going to compensate for stranding us. All we wanted was a place to sleep, and you failed to deliver. A refund is the bare minimum of what you should offer. This is probably the worst experience I've encountered with a major hotel chain. And while my situation is probably a rare occurrence, it's pretty telling of the property and staff. They just don't care. If you're exploring hotel options in the Convention Center area, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.

I stayed in this Holiday Inn while in the area for business. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Ontario Airport, and it had a very good rate through the IHG iPhone app. Check-in was seamless and got my room and keys fairly quickly. My room was large, with plenty of space. All of the room's amenities worked as they should. There were several outlets to plug in my devices and charges, and the wifi was easy to connect to and had a strong signal. The fitness center had ample equipment for a good workout. They have exercise machines, free weights and an assortment of cardio equipment. I was able to check out easily with my bill and was able to get to the airport with plenty of time to spare. This is a good, newer, and clean airport-value hotel.

I’ve stayed in many, many hotels and this was the noisiest I’ve encountered. 24/7 noise from above for 5 nights. In the middle of the southwestern heatwave the air conditioning in the room was always shutting off for a break allowing the room to get uncomfortable for long stretches.

We had a holiday planned from March 23 to 27 staying at this hotel for 4 nights, did my reservation by IHG App and thought it eas OK, nevertheless things changed ounce at this hotel, we were greeted at our checking and welcomed back after pandemic, but the assigned roon had a strong smell which was covered by a cheap perfum, we just oassed it and decided to sleep as we were tired, next day in the morning we tried to take a Shower and shower wasn’t working properly, tried fo call front desk fot 20 minutes bit jothis went thru, so I decided to went down to complain about all this, when arrived into the Fromt Desk still had ro wait another 10 minutes until front desk agent finished her call!! So I strongly asked for thr GM and a very funny lady with a pink dress and cowboy boots came out!! So funny inage She claimed to be the GM and what was happening!! So I told her t “what’s happening here noyhing works’ and rapidly she told me “you can check out asap as nobody talks like this to me”” what I said? You the GM asked me to leave?? It was the most annoying reply I had ever heard from someone working at hospitality, never ever received this kind of answer from who supposed to manage the place, so as it was Friday afternoon already we stayed for that night and asked for tye shower to be fixed, nevertheless by 6:30pm nothing was fixed neither our room cleaned, se we asked to Front Desk agents to help, they repaired the shower and sent us clean toiletries, I want to report Mrs Cynthis Villalobos as the worst person at this hotel and hold her accountable for my decision to leave the hotel earlier 2 days, also I messaged IHG and asked to be removed from their loyal costumers as I don’t want to be part of a company where this lady belongs!! So disgusting!!

The worst was the first morning when my sister had a bed bug in her bed. She killed it, and it was full of blood. They moved us to another room, and ended up giving us some discount after we talked to the manager. The guy on duty said maybe it was a bug that came in from the outside since our room was on the first floor. If it looks like a bed bug, and is full of blood, it’s a bed bug! The mattresses in the bug room were bagged in plastic, but the mattresses in the room we were moved to were not bagged. We wondered if they might have had problems in that first room before. Also it didn’t have advertised perks that we factored in when looking at prices. The wall plugs were so loose it was difficult to charge our phones. We requested housekeeping, but no one came to the room. We were attending class at the Ontario Convention Center, and hotels were all booked up or we would have changed hotels. We go to the Convention Center every year for a highly attended event, but we won’t be staying at this hotel ever again. It was quite an ordeal after we got home to make sure we didn’t bring bugs into the house.

A genuine disappointment because it could be so good with staff attention. The rooms are large and freshly decorated and can be comfortable when the air conditioner is in working order (not a given). Had to be assigned several rooms because keys weren’t working. But the biggest issue of all is that there are two hotels near the Ontario Airport with virtually the same name and the staff acknowledges that guests literally end up at the wrong property EVERY SINGLE DAY - and yet it never occurs (to either property) to do ANYTHING about it. All it would take is a comment when calling to say - ‘By the way, since our airport shuttle is not operating when your flight arrives at night, and we’re telling you to just take an Uber, BE SURE to note that there are two hotels with almost identical names that guests mix up every day, and since it will be 1 AM for you, we don’t want you waiting for over an hour and spending more than $30 just because our shuttle isn’t operating - which we never mention in our marketing materials - and you are completely on your own since we’re just not going to mention anything that could help you out - you’ll deal with it at 1 AM on your own. Happy holiday inn hospitality!’ And although you’ll check in at 1 am and leave at 6 am, we’re charging your card an additional $150 that we’ll give back to you when we get around to it (because you’re not on property long enough to incur incidentals - and you are charged separately for market items as it is. Such poor management. Can’t return simply due to these poor policies and sloppy execution.
