This hotel is close to the airport and car rentals with shuttle to and from the airport. I paid in advance and got a better rate. This hotel was clean and updated to cater to the business person or family traveler.
The rooms had the latest room darkening shades, plenty of USB charging outlets, bright bathroom and strong water pressure. However, the shower heads var still set for 5 feet tall people.
In room coffee, safe and refrigerator. Comfortable bed. Three fast elevators too.
The buffet breakfast was probably the best "Holiday Inn" breakfast for variety I ever had at any actual Holiday Inn. The age old complaint though is that its never really hot, but that's pretty much typical wherever you go.
Parking is free for 20 minutes, after that it is 30 bucks per day.
I didn't realized this, but there was a Thai restaurant around the corner.
I would come back here for sure.

Standard hotel that provided a comfortable room, nice bathroom and better value for money than the 5 other IHG properties (Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental) we stayed in on this USA trip.

Less than 10 mins from LAX with a free shuttle service and at $120 US a night it suited our needs perfectly.

Great hotel if you need something easy to get to when arriving or departing Los Angeles.

Today is Monday. We’ve been here since Friday. We have two more days here. The staff is friendly, accommodating and pleasant. We’ve enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. When we have requests, they have been fulfilled. It’s been great.

The only problem here is the housekeeping staff. Even when you put in a request for service, (empty trash cans, more towels, clean room, etc), you have to ask multiple times to get what you requested. The complimentary coffee and water are frequently empty. I asked one of the housekeeping staff if she could refill the water in the lobby, and she said it would be a while and I had to wait.

There are far too many examples I could give, but I’ll just say my mother left an excellent review for your other staff (because they are great), but the housekeeping staff is subpar to say the least.

We stayed here a few nites to be close to the airport. Rates were very reasonable for the location. They do have bell service and 24 hour security. Rooms are clean and spacious, really like the two queen beds. The staff is very friendly. Felt very safe. Would stay again!

Check in was done online, and getting our room key was quick and easy.

The front desk staff we encountered were very kind, professional, and helpful. Our first room smelled like cigarette smoke, so we called and advised the front desk. We said we didn’t need to change rooms because it wasn’t that bad, but we didn’t want to be charged for smoking in our room. We’ve never smoked.

After returning from dinner, the smoke smell was worse. We went to the front desk and asked for a different room. The front desk staff member was apologetic and gave us a different room, which did NOT smell like cigarette smoke.

However, the bathtub wasn’t well cleansed. The tub itself looked OK, but there was a piece of soap left by a prior customer in the rear soap dish. There was also a dried drip of something brown in the dish. The front soap dish had hairs in it. These were pretty disgusting, and made me question just how committed Holiday Inn really is to maintaining a healthy and clean space for guests to sleep.

We had the worst experience in this hotel. We booked in for one night so we could fly out at 9am. We were charged full price for a king room directly behind the elevator shaft! When we realized the constant noise was not aircraft’s landing but the lift shaft being constantly used we requested to be moved. I was then lied to be the staff member on the desk who proceeded to tell me the entire hotel was booked out and we could have $30 off. We refused this request as the noise was unbearable. After more lies we were finally given another room! So not fully booked. We then got a key given to us with no offer of assistance from staff at all. We were also relying on the airport shuttle for transport only to find that at 630am it in had 4 available seats! We were also told that when we returned our rental the shuttle would return us to the hotel! Nope that isn’t right either! The level of service was ridiculous!

I made reservations for 2 days at least 7 months in advance. I am a rewards member. One day before I take my flight, I called to confirm my reservations were still good. I make the trip and get out there, get to the hotel only to be told the reservation I made was taken. The hotel staff was very rude. Not only that, the hotel is in a Horrible neighborhood with multiple homeless camps along the perimeter of the property. This hotel is not nice at all and we would never stay there again if it was even free. The neighborhood is sketchy with giant sections of graffiti that faces the hotel and billboard just above the building. The carpets in the halls have a musty smell- wrinkles and creases that run longer than 40 yards. One hotel guest on crutches struggled going through this very hall with 50 yard wrinkle right down the middle. The stainless steel on the elevator looks like someone has spit all over it and dried just like that. The hotel says that the elevators are cleaned once an hour but I didn’t see anyone cleaning anything the two days I was there. When I stepped outside the front entry door, there was a urine smell and all of the sidewalks and blacktop should be scrubbed and powerwashed. The hotel staff did not resolve my issue with the reservations and I will make sure that I won’t ever stay at that property ever again and I will pass along to my peers who are traveling to the Los Angeles area to stay away from that property.

Zero hospitality offered at this property. Front desk staff were rude and condescending. My original reservation was for October 2 and 3 but my flight was changed and I asked booking.com if I can modify my reservation and they said sure no problem as long as the hotel said they would release me. They flat refused to and told me made a legally binding agreement. I said yes but your sold out so it's not like you won't be able to sell the room to another traveler. Manager said nope, we will keep your money and rent it to someone else too.

While waiting 3 hours for housekeeping to finish cleaning the room I did 2 load of laundry in their guest laundry area. Dryer would not dry my clothes despite maintenance insisting I do one load in one dryer at a time. I spent over $25 trying to get my clothes dry and they never did. Front desk refused to refund my money even though they said they would if I had to keep feeding the dryer. Frond desk said I would have to email a copy of my bank statement or a screenshot of my charges which my bank doesn't allow. Grrrr.
Room was a nightmare. I had reservation for a 2 bed accessable room and they tried to give me a twin, yes you read that right a TWIN bed!!!! When I said I was not sleeping in a twin bed they moved me to room 420 so you know what it stank like. Never again.

Easy park & stay option for LAX, especially for IHG loyalty members. Package had One night stay with 7 nights parking in an underground structure, shuttle to LAX terminal (plus points for IHG).

There was security at entrance and parking structure. If you don't like the surrounding area you can park and elevator straight to your room. My female guest felt fine as far as what we needed - park, rest, showever, shuttle to terminal. It worked.

Upon return, 405 Shuttle Service picked us up from LAX - Go to level 2 Private Shuttles area after baggage claims, not the normal passenger arrival level 1. At the hotel the front desk hands you an exit ticket.

There's a McDonalds steps away from the lobby, and also basic amenities and food options including alcohol in the lobby.

There is a $100 security deposit that costs more than the room, which I thought was funny... Not really complaining much.

Overall, perfectly reasonable park & stay option here for lax departures.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and is my choice of hotel since the Crowne Plaza was renamed and taken out of IHG list.

The free shuttle comes around every 30 mins, however this time it would had been 5 mins so i got lucky. Quick 5 mins drive to the hotel. With Construction still in LAX remember to get this shuttle on the departures level. The shuttle is also 24 hours which is good when i need to get it at 4am!

The room is basic but clean, ands all you need. I arrived around midday, with check in at 3pm they still try and help. In this case i had to wait but they did notice my request for a high floor and asked if the cleaning crew could prepare a room which was ready in around an hour from my arrival. Lower floors were available but great they saw my membership status and honoured my request of a high floor,

differently my hotel of choice for connivance when staying around LAX Airport. Also handly to have the McDonalds out the front.

Yes it does - very good value range of options but you need to go through a third party booking site since they do t advertise the option on their own. I’ve stayed here a couple of times - well recommended.
