An otherwise perfect stay was spoiled by our shower. Water temp went from cold to scalding hot without adjusting the handle. It was impossible to maintain an acceptable temperature. The shower wouldn't drain properly the last morning we were there. Yes, the stopper was open in the tub. Third issue was how the sink faucet was positioned too close to the back of the sink bowl making it difficult to wash your hands without touching the interior of the sink. Everything else was spectacular throughout the hotel. Staff were the friendliest I've ever encountered in a hotel, it was well cleaned and the workout room was well equipped with great views on the 26th floor. Install some new sink faucets, pour some bleach down the shower drain and fix the shower temp and this is a five star experience for me. 3.5 rounded to a 4 as is

We were told we were being upgraded to a city view - while we did get the view we also got all the elevator noise from 2 rooms away. It was simply awful … felt like we were beside an airport runway. Every few minutes you could hear the service elevator shrieking up and down. Now the not so grand part … everything about the decor screams tacky. LED mirror with weird designs enhanced the clinical ambiance of the bathroom, outdone only by threadbare towels, minimal toiletries (no shower cap, stops, etc), some unidentifiable splatters on the wall, calcified shower - it was borderline gross. There’s really nothing to recommend the room. An oversized couch jammed against the fixed wall desk and the “desk” area built into the tv cabinet, neither of which were comfortable to sit at or at the right height to use a computer. This room would only be good as a base to return to sleep in but there in lies the problem - the elevators are so darned loud!!!

I first would like to say how impressed I was when I arrived at the Sheraton Grand. What a beautiful Hotel and the quick service from the Bellman, to help us with our luggage. While we checked in, the bellman was waiting for us and then came with us to our room and unloaded the luggage from the rack. Very friendly & helpful, I apologize, I forgot his name. After we sat for a minute then we went up to the Club Lounge to grab something to snack on. We were greeted by a man named Miguel who was so nice, so helpful and attentive, always asking if we needed anything. The food was displayed so nice and the counter was kept so clean. The next morning, my daughter & I went down to the Lounge again to get some coffee and the display of food items were so inviting, and the food was kept at the correct temperature. There was a very nice lady there named Lupe, she was so sweet, so helpful, always asking if there is anything she can get for us. If item's were running low, she would replenish the bowls or containers right away. I forgot to get my napkin with the silverware, and Lupe right away got it for me and set it on the counter for me. Such a thoughtful person. She had a helper named Chris, and he also was so nice and always asking if there was anything he could get for us, so friendly, making sure we were very comfortable. On another day there was a man named Manuel that worked with Lupe, and he also was so thoughtful & pleasant, very attentive. They kept the counter area very clean and always maintained. It was soon time for them to take the food away, and I believe it was both Chris and Lupe that came around to notify people that they will be taking the food away in 5 or 10 mins, and if there is anything they would like to get before they do, to do so soon. I couldn't finish the food I had on my plate, so Lupe brought me a container to take my food with me and mentioned if I would like to take something else for later. She also introduced me to the coffee machine that makes Vanilla Latte's, she made one for me, now I'm hooked!! The crew that the Sheraton Grand employed to work in the Club Lounge are Exceptional!! I was having some construction done to my house, and wasn't able to stay there. My daughter who is familiar with the Sheraton Grand, booked our stay and we ended up staying there longer than we had anticipated, due to the construction wasn't completed on time, but it was such a beautiful experience and whenever I will be able to get a chance to just get away, that's where I will be going. I love the Sheraton Grand DTLA and especially the "CLUB LOUNGE". I will be back!!

We stayed here for four nights while exploring LA. Hotel was nice, clean and modern. Bed and pillows were great and soft. Staff were great and we enjoyed the hotel. Not thrilled about the area. I would have to say if I come back I would not stay in downtown LA again. The surrounding streets feel very unsafe and people are roaming all day and night. Lots of homeless and people causing issues. However, this is obviously no fault of the hotel.

This hotel is in a very good location, attached to the BLOC, handy for accessing some essentials and the Metro. The reception area is very clean and welcoming, we did have some issues with check in which I was frustrated with. The rooms are a decent size, the beds are comfortable and the shower was excellent. Toiletries are provided along with the usual coffee making facilities, iron etc. we had issues with the TV and the remote control, someone prompt came to resolve, although, this left the TV picture distorted. We had gone out for the day and when we returned there was no housekeeping service, call to reception who apologised and sent clean towels. We ate downstairs in the lovely bar & restaurant, the food was very good with a decent price. Enrique served us and was so welcoming and polite. The only negative: the purple corridors and wallpaper, it just needs modernising in some of the areas, clearly this didn’t impact our comfort or thoughts on the hotel. I would stay here again in the future.

This was a good business hotel. Service was on point and when I had a few issues with billing and the iron in the room, it was taken care of promptly. The rooms and hallways need some upgrades as they feel a bit old, but the lobby and bar are nice. The bartenders specifically were very attentive even though the bar itself is not super big and definitely would get crowded for the after business meeting crowd.

As usual. we had a great stay at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles. We really like the location which is convenient to many downtown attractions. We felt safe walking in the area and the attached shopping made it easy to grab a coffee or gelato. We also had a lovely time chatting with mixologist Andrew at the Lobby Bar while enjoying some of his libations. A really fine place for a weekend getaway.
