The manager pil was super helpful and friendly. He will try to accommodate any needs or requests you might have. The rooms are clean and tidy. The only thing I wish they had was a restaurant or a cafe in the hotel.

We had a reservation at this hotel this weekend. And chose to book directly for several reasons: 1) Their flexible cancellation policy the day of arrival (which is something we look for since COVID and recent flight disruptions). 2) We find it easier to interact on any issues directly with the hotel than via a third party. 3) Special rates Unfortunately, we were not able to make our flight to LA and needed to cancel our reservation. This is when their customer service was put to the test. I was expecting hassles and maybe a monetary penalty for my cancellation 30mins after the cut off. But to my surprise, the hotel staff at the reservation desk were very accommodating and easy to deal with. They extended the cancellation time allowing us the time we needed to know if we could make our flight to LA and simply asked us to call back and let them know when we knew. This was such peace of mind in an already stressful situation. Thanks to the staff at the desk yesterday!! While we couldn't make it this weekend, we intend to visit LA soon. And the first place we'd look to book is Hotel Hollywood. Tip to all: Book directly with the Hotel!!…

There is no free breakfast and no bar, despite the website promoting those items. The hotel staff indicates that they have not served breakfast since 2020. The hotel has good mattresses and pillows. It's rundown but clean.

Check in was smooth but could have been more friendly. Nice entrance lobby. Wide hallways make for smaller rooms. Nice courtyard with music and lights; however, no one to tend the bar as it is closed. No restaurant onsite anymore either. Pillows were fluffy, mattress was incredibly firm and very uncomfortable--needs a foam mattress topper. Can hear others doors slamming from the room. Shower was awesome. Bath towels are not 4 star. Room was just as appeared in photos. They are remodeling rooms and one next door to my room. They started making noise in that room about 9:15 a.m but was quiet over the weekend. Room attendants very friendly and do a very nice job of straightening and cleaning room daily! Hotel is nearby several restaurants but I didn't feel safe walking outside the hotel. The hotel parking is secure with entrance to hotel as pictured on the website actually from the parking lot. Cost is about $31 a night to park but well worth it as the neighborhood is questionable. Homeless people are everywhere in California and so I was not surprised to see some camping a few blocks away from the hotel. I would rate this 3 stars. This could easily be a 4 star hotel if they had a restaurant and bar onsite and more comfortable bedding. Best part of this stay for me was that I felt safe entering the secured parking and entrance to the hotel. Have discovered E. Hollywood is a bit sketchy and next time would look for something on the West side.…

Hotel room was fine. Bed was fine. Towels pretty small and thin. Staff at reception were pleasant enough i suppose without being as pleasant as you would expect at a hotel. Served efficiently, but with few social niceties (Goodbye, Good Morning, Have a nice flight etc). Hotel has virtually no facilities. No Bar or restaurant and with it being in a bit of a rough area, especially at night time, having no bar etc means having to always go out for food/drink etc. There's not much round it in terms of Bars/Restaurants either, so it was a taxi or Uber everywhere. It served the purpose for us of being a decent place to sleep at night. Only real complaint? Saw several signs around reception saying about retaining the room for an extra few hours until 5pm i think, costing something like $79 or $89 (cant remember which). Our flight out wasn't until 9.45pm, so i asked reception if i could retain the room until 5pm, like the sign said and was told, only way was to book room for another night, costing $139+tax. Pretty poor imo. I had little option really other than to agree. Would i stay again? Probably not. If it had a bar etc i'd maybe feel differently. …

Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet part of the hotel. Street was not great, that's down town though and to be expected. Staff was very helpful in every time I needed help with restaurant tips and transportation. Check in was seemless and Daniel was very helpful and courteous.

Staff were very friendly but there are no bar or food facilities, there is a gym and one person sauna, but they didn’t tell us the pool was closed for refurbishment and it only opened after we left after a week. Towels were really thin and small and the area is not nice with lots of homeless on the streets. It was an easy walk to Hollywood walk of fame (about 40 mins) and the redline metro is really close by. Also the Dash bus to the observatory goes from just up the road.

The service and the stay in Hollywood hotel was an amazing experience. Pil provided excellent customer service. Would come again in the future. The rooms are very nice and organized. They have appliances such as a fridge and microwave.

The only good thing about this hotel are the housekeepers. Rooms are very clean but the hotel is awful, a run down hotel, no amenities, rude receptionist. We arrived at 3 am from the airport and had to wait for the receptionist to “make” new keys. It is a very old hotel that had not been renovated since the 70s?? Not a restaurant, or bar, or we couldn’t find it??? empty vending machines. Don’t believe in the pictures from the website. It is not worth it. My mistake was to believe in their promotion.
