One working elevator for the whole building. Took 20 minutes to catch an elevator ride down dude to room service using the elevator. When I got down at 9:30 they told me I missed breakfast and it was my fault. Rude and terrible service. Would not recommend.

Super-clean, efficient. I came because I have gotten tired of huge overstuffed hotel mattresses and was hoping for something firmer. This was that little bit better. Right in the heart of Little Tokyo and the best noodle place ever is right across the street.

Stayed for 4 nights: 1. Good location at Downtown LA. 2. Near Japanase Plaza. A lot of food establishments, shops, and grocery. 3. Walking distance to 7-Eleven and other retail shops. 4. Room is quite huge for a hotel room in the US. It was clean but it feels and smells a bit old. 5. Room has automatic bidet and toilet seat warmer. 6. Aircon works well but it tends to produce some noise. 7. Hot shower works well. 8. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were quite small. 9. They make up the room daily and provide fresh towels. 10. Toiletries were complete. 11. Complimentary bottled water and coffee were provided. 12. Bottled water can be refilled at the ground floor lobby area. 13. Pastry shop at the hotel lobby area was good. 14. Staff were friendly. 15. Hotel feels safe. Security and police were visible in the area. 16. Only 2 elevators in the hotel. 17. Quite pricey - paid about $800 for 4 nights. It was okay because of its accessibility to Asian restaurants.

Perfect location right next to the Japanese Village and everything awesome in Little Tokyo and DTLA. We stayed two nights for a quick trip to visit Little Tokyo and The Broad museum. Took the Metrolink train down there, hotel is an easy walk from Union Station. Ollie at the front desk was so cool! He helped us get a new room our first night. He speaks fluent Japanese too which was impressive since he's not Japanese and says he learned in school and traveling. Elevators quick and work well. Our first room was kinda run down and I thought the bidet was broken (turns out you have to be sitting on it for it to work, lol) The second room was a lot nicer. Both rooms were very clean. The full size Bath and Body Works products are wonderful! The second room had a weird film on the windows so you couldn't see out but at least it opened a bit. I probably should give 4 stars because the first rooms and some things run down but I just can't because I love the location and vibe too much! Love the cafe there too, great sea salt latte's and breads. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure!

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. We called around to several hotels to find one not being impacted by the hotel worker's strike in LA area. Bathroom very spacious and love that toilets have bidet attached - these are common in Japanese homes. Easy to walk to JANM, many restaurants, shops and bakeries.

Spacious and scrupulously clean hotel in Little Tokyo, with a Japanese restaurant and coffee shop. Comfy beds and pillows. Large bathroom with heated toilet seat (common in Japan) and eerie light. Walking distance to downtown LA. New Metro station only 100m away, so very easy to get to Santa Monica, Hollywood, Universal Studios and LAX. Also handy for Dodger Stadium and Arts District. Miyako is a Japanese hotel chain, and JAL aircrew stay here.

The location of Miyako Hotel is excellent! It is close to public transportation by bus or subway. The room is clean, sufficiently big and comfortable. If you want to taste good ramen and sushi, there are a few shops to choose from which is opposite the hotel. Remember to try Jist, their breakfast gave me a big surprise. I will definitely choose Miyako Hotel if I revisit LA!

Great value for money compared to other places in LA, within walking distance of Union Station. The hotel was clean and friendly staff, they also allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day and collect later. Located in Little Toyako with plenty of eating options nearby.

I attended a trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center and was looking for a hotel for my staff and me that would not blow my budget out the water. When I saw the Miyako, I was dubious. The price was a bit too good to be true. I booked it, but did not have high expectations. Wow was I pleasantly surprised. A well appointed, clean, relaxing, and positive experience awaited me! The rooms were wonderful. Very clean. Comfortable bed and linens. Clean, well appointed bathroom, with excellent shower gel and lotion. I was extremely, did I say extremely happy with my experience. I was absolutely stay at this hotel whenever I return to LA! Wonderful experience at an excellent value!!!

Just returned from a sisters trip to Los Angeles. Our main reason for the trip was to visit the Japanese American National Museum. The Miyako was in a perfect location for our visit. It is basically right across the street. We loved our short 2 night stay but agreed we would love to go back and stay there again. Every employee we came in contact with was so nice and engaging. Francis and Cesar were especially helpful and true assets to the hotel. Francis went out of his way to make sure to honor our request for a quiet room. Didn't catch the names of the other employees but everyone was great! The rooms were spacious with lots of counter space in the bedroom and bathroom. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were the best I ever had. I have a hard time finding a good pillow. I wish I would have asked what kind they use! The bathrooms have bath & body products in large sharing size containers. The toilets have bidets on them. The only small issue was the shower. It blasts water out like a fire hose with no way to tone it down. They also offer their own branded water bottles in the rooms for $1.50 each. Just let them know how many you drink. Not sure who makes it, but my sister claims it's the best bottled water ever. They have a nicely filled self service snack & drink store in the lobby. There is a coffee & pastry cafe in the lobby as well. We loved our stay. We can't wait to visit again. Thanks Miyako!!
