Detailed Reviews
OK, the location is not the best, it is next to a very busy street. The office is a little bigger than a closet, the rooms are clean but dated. The free breakfast is packaged rolls and some bottled water, or a hot drink.

The room I stayed in Was on the second floor and was clean and comfortable. The vaulted ceiling made if feel a lot bigger than what it was. I think the property is doing some remodeling and I was kept away from that. I would stay here again if the need arises.

It was a clean hotel with not a lot of amenities, however. And the breakfast room was cramped with very little selection. first night stay was quiet however the 3rd night were loud due to a couple who were having loud sex. It made the stay very uncomfortable. It changed my opinion of its location.

We came for a work conference. Found a dead roach and were called the N word upon check out. Staff pretended they didn’t speak English. It’s insulting. We’re spending the little we have to be disrespected. Won’t ever return.

Do not book a room at this Hooker Hotel. I can not tell you how bad this place was, the lady at the front desk warned us not to walk outside the hotel, she said we should be in our room or in our car. I even checked with the Long Beach Police Department and they agreed that this is a very bad part of town. The male manager (possibly the owner) was rude, mean and a crook. It was so bad we asked for a credit for 2 of the three nights we booked and he agreed and then when we checked our credit card he did not credit them. We called him and he lied and said he never agreed to a credit. It is a bad hotel, bad neighborhood and and even worse manager. I can not stress how much I want to warn everyone about this place. It is cheap because they probably rent the rooms by the hour too. Pay a little more and get a nice safe place to stay.

It happened only on that particular night, there were some unfortunate people loitering on the premisses, when management got to know there had been strict action taken by staff on the spur of moment. Due to this motel has become more vigilant and no such guest are allowed in premises.

I've been there between Nov. 11-17, 2005. Not impressed at all with the place.
They advertise "Complimentary Continental Breakfast"; however, on Nov. 12 the gentleman at the reception told me that for that day they were serving coffee only.
They advertise "High Speed Internet Access". It wasn't the case. Moreover, the phone in room wasn't functional. I asked the receptionist, on Nov. 16 four times to connect the phone, and finally he had to admit that it does not work.
Cockcroaches everywere.

This hotel displays "5 suns" in the lobby. They must have stolen the sign from another hotel! The rooms are disgusting - room 231 was full of cigarette burns in the carpeting, sink, toilet and tub. There were burn marks from the iron in the carpet. Room 204 had a broken door lock and the carpet was so dirty it made feet turn black. The parking lot had a man who seemed to be sleeping in his van [--]. The front desk told us on the phone that the "cruise package" included a shuttle to the ship. On departure day, they called us a shuttle that cost $20.00! How nice.

I had booked my reservation through Hotels.com and the clerk at the front kept trying to recharge me for a whole new reservation saying the card was not the same, and not valid to use even after nemerous attempts to show the clerk I had a confirmation number and a reciet. Secondly, the photos on several websites are completely different from the rooms you receive. The rooms are extremely outdated, pillows and sheets look like they have never been washed, and the parking lot is so tiny you can't even fit a prius. I regret booking this 'hotel'. I will NEVER be returning and I hope I can get a refund for the rest of the nights and find a better place to stay. This place is disturbing. For paying almost $230 for three nights it is not worth a single penny.

The room our family stayed in was dirty & smelled like cigarrettes even though there was a big "no smoking" sign posted in the room. The blanket had cigarrette burn holes and when we threw back the covers on the bed there was a lighter that didn't belong to anyone of us. The bed covers were ugly, old fashion box tv with a broken remote, the door & window didn't lock. The room was so small & my daughter tripped on the board frame sticking out from under the bed so we tried to reposition the mattresses back on the board frame! Lights didn't work, air conditioner didn't work, electric outlet covers were broken with metal sticking out of it. When I complained the desk clerk just said, "so would you like to check out and stay somewhere else?" That"s exactly what we did! It was horrible!

My family and I spent on night in hell at this hotel. There was dried blood on the bed linens and black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We came in late after driving for 6 hours upon check in the front desk attendant advised that sometimes the door handle sticks and to just shake it. I got the family out of the car and headed to the room. We spent 20 minutes messing with the door it would not open! Back to the front desk the attendant was very put out and would not give us a different room but finally came out to open the door. We got into the room and first we noticed that mold on the bathroom ceiling, then when we got into bed noticed the dried blood on the linens. Needless to say no one used the soiled linens. If it had not been so late at night we would have left and found other lodging. Upon check out we complained to the “Front desk Manager” that only cared when we advised that we would be posting to the hotels facebook and twitter. Do not stay here. You would be better off sleeping in your car or on the street!
