This is an older hotel. We paid in advance for an accessible room. When we arrived we were told they only had rooms on second floor, no elevator. I told the desk you better have one, I was confirmed and paid. So we had to wait for 25 minutes for them to clean a room. The air conditioner is very old , with no markings on the control. We will not be staying here again. I was here to visit my sister who was recuperating from surgery. The room was clean and they made bed and left towels everyday.

We needed a hotel to stay the night before a cruise leaving out of Long Beach. In the past we stayed at a name hotel near the port but had experienced issues with that hotel’s overcrowded cruise port shuttle. I am a Choice Hotels member so I looked for a Choice hotel in Long Beach and found this Quality Inn.
I’d read some previous reviews and found many praises for Sanjay at the front desk. Those reviews did not lie. Sanjay could teach a course in the hospitality industry. He welcomed us, and noticed my wife had mobility issues and was using a Walker. This hotel has no elevator. Sanjay searched for a first floor room for us. He promised if they had one available, it was ours. Even though we arrived before checkin time, he allowed us to have the room.
Throughout our stay he checked to see how we were doing and made an effort to be sure my wife was able to get around easily.
Yes, the property is old and closer to the airport than the cruise port. But, the room was beautiful for its age, the wifi was excellent. The breakfast met our needs with eggs and cereal. Everything in the room worked. The TV selection was fine. Above all, the staff and service was excellent! Everybody on the staff treated us as a welcome guest. This was 5 star service at a Quality Inn. Also, the cruise shuttle worked out perfectly. I would recommend this hotel to all Long Beach cruisers.

Hotel stay, for one night for pre-cruise. The elevator reeked of weed. Next door to a Denny's . Not a lot to say about this place. The bus stop outside of the hotel was trashy. They had a nice breakfast. The front desk person was respectful

Hotel's Favourite
The room was impeccably clean with crisp bedding… & the beds were Very comfortable! But, more than the room itself was the service, especially from Sanjay! He went out of his way to accommodate our requests & was very friendly. I was most impressed in watching him accommodate a disabled guest before us! Breakfast was the typical Choice fare & in a nice clean breakfast room. All & all, a very pleasant experience… 5 stars!

I spent a night in Quality Inn Long Beach on 9th of April, they took me $125 deposit for the room that was already payed, never refunded my money. They asked for my card number but refund never happened. Ill keep asking for my money ...

I was there to take care of my brother who is trying to make a transition to Heaven, our glory I was tired scared and alone
it has been a while since I was at a hotel or in the presence of people I did not know.
Mr. Sanjay one of the on ground hotel managers ask me was my visit for vacation or family, I told him I was in Ling Beach for my brother Who is critically ill.
Mr. Sanjay Encourage me and spoke to me in a way that my heart understood that I was in a safe place your hotel Quality Inn Long Beach
I am grateful for the way he he greeted me and put me at ease staying at a hotel that I have never been in before
I will be visiting again in June 2024

This was my 3rd stay in this hotel. Check your records in 2018 and 2019. I found cockroaches beside the bed and the bathtub in room 115, thus I was moved to street facing room 109 which was really noisy, I figured, better than cockroaches.
I spoke with the manager if I could check out at 12:00 noon as oppose to 11:00 AM. He said no problem, he told the front desk to note in the computer about my check out time and told me to put the privacy sign so no one will knock on my door. Check out day, they were knocking on my door, I told them I'm not ready, phone rings and the lady harassed me that I need to check out. I told her to check the computer because I had an agreement with the manager. When she checked the computer, she said, okay 12:00 noon then. No regrets, no apologies. I did not argue even when I handed my keys, no use fighting somebody who is intellectually impaired. Maybe next time I'll stay in Holiday Inn at Lakewood Blvd., $20 more expensive per night, but hopefully I won't get treated this way. I also left a voicemail message to the manager about the situation.

Called to book 2 rooms with parking for a cruise pattzy a very rude agent told me 30 for the shuttle 10 dollars per day to park. What is the value of this. Save your money go elsewhere. No Value. Stay at a nicer hotel and park at the terminal you will save money!

1. Maids are lazy & there work is sloppy
2. they don't mop , floors are black
3. Depending on who's working deposit are 100$ some days 150$ other days , 200$ yesterday & 250$ today so just BE AWARE
4. 7 days a week same breakfast ( eggs & sausage )
5. there's an orange dirty homeless cat that lives on the hotel property that the maids keep feeding
6. jennifer told me not to come back because i mop the hotel room floor with their towels . i have kids , why are the maids not mopping . Jennifer has no right or authority to tell me to not come back I am Choice Privilege Member .

Front desk lady was very unwelcoming the entire time. We got nickel and dimed for everything and wanted us to swipe our card 3 times. They take a $125 deposit which I BETTER be getting back. We were not told about the shuttle costs from the airport. Get in the room and the only plug ins that work are across the room. Not accessible for someone who needs a CPAP or other plugged in device while they sleep. The water in our room was FREEZING even after running for 30+ minutes. Our room faces the road, so we heard traffic and sirens all night long. Not to mention the fire alarm going off last night at 8:30. We were trying to sleep as it is 10:30 our local time and we were jet lagged. Took them more than 10 minutes to respond to it...

I have left my car there 3 times with no problem at all. I would suggest calling the hotel and asking them about the availability. They did take us to and from the ship

Shuttle time is 9:00-2:00 Monday through Friday, and 9:00-4:00 Satuday and Sunday.

This inn has been undergoing renovation. We stayed December 2014 and were very pleased with the condition of our newly renovated room. They offer shuttle service to/from the Long Beach Airport and Carnival cruise dock. I suggest you contact the hotel directly for any cost associated with the transfers if you don't pay for a park and fly or park and cruise rate.
