The hotel smelled like fruit water when I walked in. It was very clean in all the common areas. The pool is a good size and there was a salsa party one of the nights I was there. I didn't salsa, but it was fun to sit outside and watch others dance! My room was a king suite with a balcony and it overlooked the fountain. The bed was very soft and comfy. Housekeeping did a great job. The front desk was friendly and the hotel shuttle is very convenient. I didn't use the gym, but peeked in and it's well-equipped. There is a cafe in the lobby that serves Starbucks, you can't use your app but the barista did a great job and it tasted just like Starbucks. They also have a really good grab-and-go menu. The egg bites are huge. I got two orders because I wasn't sure and it was too much. Stick to one order! This airport is 5 minutes from the airport. Due to my departure and arrival, I used Uber, not the shuttle and it was only $9 each way. There are sidewalks everywhere so it's also easy to take morning walks and there is a Starbucks about a mile away, easy walk if you want your stars! It's about a 20-minute Uber to Newport Beach. If you're in town check out the Rusty Pelican or Billy's on the Beach. Both had great wine lists! I'd definitely stay at this hotel again if I'm in Orange County.…

When traveling my hotel expectations are to feel secure, find clean/ pleasant surroundings and be met by a staff that is courteous and knowledgeable of the hotel and the surrounding area. All three of my "expectations" can be checked (and double checked) for the Irvine Marriott. We checked in around 10 pm on a Saturday. I believe the name of the person that checked us into the Marriott was Mikki. She made us feel welcome and was "patient" and answered all our questions. Had dinner in the restaurant . . . recommend their specialty fries. Wish I had the name of the waitress. She was most pleasant. Highly recommend.

I like this hotle, the design of the room style is modern, the location is close to the Spectrum, very convenient, most importantly, Laura provided the best service I'v been seen in the US, she is very friendly and professional, she made the room very clean and tidy, we can't have this excellent experience without her.

Relaxing all the way. From the moment you walk in until you checkout, interaction with all the employees is friendly and courteous. Nice lounge and good food with a great atmosphere, comfortable bed, nice and quiet for a big hotel with a beautiful huge outdoor area where you could relax all day if you desired.

Amazing.. Great service from all associates. Clean and comfortable rooms. Ours was a king with a walk in shower. I really like not stepping over a tub. Good food and nice atmosphere in the lounge. Overall a great experience.

Really just OK. Good location but we checked in, luggage unpacked and fpunf bathroom not acceptable (see pics). The staff could run a new key up for new room. Then new room has no ice container, they said they would run one up but never did. Service a one defintely not a 4 star hotel.

Quite a good hotel. the rooms are spacious and nice. the lobby is well put together, and the hotel location is awesome. Cons: the Peletons in the gym don't work well-- one is broken and one makes a loud sound when you crank it hard. I've told the front desk over several weeks, as I've stayed there many times. It never seems to get fixed.

This hotel is beautiful, the food is good (drinks too), and the service is excellent. There is a shop powered by Starbucks, a top golf suite, and speak-easy (although I hadn’t tried this). The place just has a great feel-you’ll notice as soon as you walk in. It’s a good time! Enjoy!

We were coming to SoCal to celebrate a close friend’s birthday and planned to stay with another couple. However, our hosting couple tested positive for COVID, so we had to make a last-minute hotel reservation. We chose the Irvine Marriott because it was close to the airport and were thoroughly delighted. Although the hotel was built in 1982, we found it to be thoroughly modern and updated. The staff was helpful and professional. Our 14th floor room was clean, tastefully appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed two nights there and will go again. My only wish was that there were more charging stations for EVs (I understand they are working on that), but we were able to charge with some coordination with the valet. This is a wonderful property. We highly recommend it.

Where do I begin? Excellent service began at check-in with Abel. He didn’t just check me in, he shared with me all the amenities the hotel had to offer. And, when I would see him in passing throughout my stay, he always made a point to say hello a ask how things were. To add to that, the FLOE restaurant staff and food were amazing. I stayed in October 2022 and will be staying with them again next month. They have a loyal customer because of their service and friendly staff. Thank you, Marriott!
