We arrived on a Friday, and were delighted by the efficiency of the warm welcome. It only got better from here! Our room was spacious and comfortable, the ample closet was accessible from the large double-sinked bathroom AND the bedroom! Our view was gorgeous, the mountains

As a veteran of the "Contact" convention, I was amazingly pleased with the 2018's venue of the Renaissance Hotel in Indian Wells. We had room for meetings, socializing, decent eating and star-gazing. It was comfortable for the speakers as well as the attendees. The technology

This hotel is a mixed bag. It tries to be high end, but doesn’t quite get there. Service is good, but not exceptional. The hotel is huge. The pool/ hot tub area is lovely but not big enough to accommodate all the guests at full capacity. Ditto regarding the Glo Bar, and The

The resort is okay with the main selling point being that it’s kid friendly. We go often with our little ones because there’s a sandy beach pool and the hotel even puts out plenty of sand toys. It’s hard to get pool chairs close to there though as they Sorround it with paid

Filthy windows.
Lattice over windows blocking views. Throughout the hotel property. Even in some rooms. The one in our room was filthy with years worth of cobwebs.
I am pretty sure that you can, unless it is an inside room you see mountains all around. We had a room that you could see the pool and the mountain views. Very beautiful place, Hot but beautiful.

Are there free weights in the fitness center? If so, what is the smallest size?
Yes there are, if I recollect correctly and if it is still the same, they were a 5lb minimum. There may be less there, that was not what I was using.

The renaissance is a much smaller resort, it has a really nice pool and for your toddler a shallow beach like area of the pool that’s safer for those that cannot swim. It cost a lot less when I was there. Hyatt is fancier, larger resort, more impressive lobby, has better restaurants, a neat boat ride within the resort to watch wild life that also take you to specialty restaurants. It is also closer to other nice restaurants outside of the resort and a small historic downtown area. When I was at the Hyatt, it was to attend a convention while staying at the Renaissance. So I can’t comment accurately on children friendly activities at the Hyatt.
